It's a long process to finally get done so the amount of experience I've had going through this plus having my father be a real estate agent my whole life, I highly DO NOT RECCOMEND SCOTT SIMS. My husband Ryan West and I went through Scott as our agent for the church he was selling. He had us go through all the work of getting proof of funds, signing papers, and everything. We were the HIGHEST CASH offer, at $100k. The church was listed at 109k and Even told him we would offer $140k, which was 30k above asking price!!! After making us do all the paperwork and promising us it was ours and just had to wait on the sellers agreement, Scott completely ghosted us for a week, blamed it on being on vacation and having no service, then said the seller went from under him and accepted an offer 20k UNDER ASKING PRICE! what????? So after having another real estate friend do some research, he ended up just selling it to a friend of his which caused the company to lose out on what could have been $50,000 more. Not to mention once I messaged him kindly expressing how horrible this process with him has been, he blocked us on everything. I'm so upset by how screwed over I was in this situation by Scott.
