They bypassed standard platform protections to book a guest through their own direct site (staydogrentals.com). The guest they "vetted" used a fake credit card, and once they were in my home, they caused thousands of dollars in physical damage. Beyond the financial loss, a serious domestic abuse incident occurred at my property involving these guests. Despite this, Stay Dog Rentals refused to file a police report or cooperate with the authorities. They spent weeks playing a "hide and seek" game with me--promising to call back, promising to handle the situation, and then completely ghosting my messages. When it became clear they couldn't hide from the damage anymore, they simply told me they "could no longer co-host" and vanished. They left me to deal with the repair costs, the police, and the fallout of their negligence alone. This company is unprofessional, evasive, and dangerous to work with. They do not protect the homes they manage and will abandon you the moment their negligence catches up to them. Do not trust them with your keys or your investment.
