I had to put down our family pet. I was absolutely impressed with the Veterinarian as well as his assistant. They were very understanding and patient with me. I would recommend this office to everyone I know. It was the first time I had ever been there and I felt as though I had known them my entire life. I cannot say enough good things!! Thank you so much!!! read more

Had an emergency with my kitty who fell and knocked a few teeth loose. No one else would accept my kitty in the Tri-City area except this place. They took excellent care of my cat and me (emotional wreck seeing my cat bleeding from his mouth). Quick assessment and they took him back to fix him up. I showed up an hour or two later and they were all done with him. Almost a week has passed and he is back to all normal activities. Great veterinary care here! Thank you to all who took care of Smoke for me!!! read more

The entire staff was great. Dr. Ty, I believe his name was. He was great right to the point, but he's very caring. My little dog Jack hurt his leg very badly and with caring hands they were able to put his joint back into where it belonged. read more

overpriced, they charge for unsolicited services just because they think they are due without your consent , and they expect you to pay upfront for any testing while they have you waiting for results up to a week which can lead the dead of ur pet because is too late for treatment by the time you get the blood work ... don't go there save ur money and your pets . read more

Chaparral Veterinary Center, PC - Veterinarians Near Me - Jourdanton, Texas

Chaparral veterinary takes care of our pets. Very caring people that are patient and caring.

November 8, 2024 my sweet dog was attacked by my neighbor's dog, my poor baby's arm was shredded and almost torn off, veins, muscle & tissue were hanging from his body, I rushed him to Chaparral Clinic in Jourdanton. Dr. Trial who is a miracle worker performed surgery on Jake but let me know that he may have to amputate his leg. Tomorrow will be one month since the attack and my baby Jake is almost fully recovered. Dr. Trial saved my baby's leg & his life. The entire staff is so caring and kind. Thank you Dr. Trial and staff!! read more

I'm from out of state and a friend referred me to this clinic. My pet was was needing some fast attention and the office got me in within the hour. I saw Dr. Collins who was very personable and informative. She schooled me on scorpion stings and the next day I was stung! Had she not done this I would have freaked out. The front office staff is friendly and the exam rooms clean and neat. I highly recommend this clinic! read more

I'm a new pet owner so going in I was a bit overwhelmed. Puppy was squirming everywhere, I forgot his leash but everyone was so nice especially Rachel, which calmed me and the pup down. Doctor Trial was so kind and gentle with little Max who was a handful for being so tiny lol. He answered every question and went into detail about what we needed to do going forward so I didn't leave confused or with anything unanswered. I would most definitely recommend Chaparral veterinarian center to anyone! read more

Kudos to this staff- very effective communication!!! I was not able to take my horses in ( my farrier took them) to get vaccines and a Coggins test . I spoke with Megan and Nancy over the phone, they both made this process quick, easy and my horses were well taken care of by Dr. Trial. I HIGHLY recommend using this vet for your equine needs. Took my elderly cat in for a check up vet appointment today. He went in perfectly fine and came out with a slight bloody nose and a hurt left front paw to the point of a limp. This was our first time here and we won't be back to say the least. Although our vet tech Tiffany was very kind and professional. read more

I have taken all of my furbabies (dogs) to Chaparral Veterinary Center for over 15 years and all of the doctors and staff are very friendly and incredibly professional. They were extremely understanding and comforting when I had to put my Lab (Coco) to sleep. We just adopted a Great Dane puppy and we will definitely take him to Dr Clater and staff. Today, I had a horse in pain who had a blunt trauma to his mouth/teeth. Dr. Collins was wonderfully in charge, as usual. She has a combination of empathy and logic that is unsurpassed. Don't take your animals (in my case a horse, cow or dog) anywhere else! read more
