HIGHLY recommend Channelview Supply!!! We took our new camper--less than a year old-- to Fun Town RV in Wharton because none of the three AC units were working. They kept our camper from January through April, only to test the ACs on a day when it was 34 degrees outside. Unsurprisingly, they called to say, "Everything's working fine." Spoiler: they absolutely were not. We've owned other campers and know what a functioning AC feels like. With three units on board, it was painfully obvious nothing was working. Frustrated, we picked it up and took it to Channelview Supply. Within two weeks, they diagnosed the issue correctly (all three AC units were bad), submitted the warranty claim, and replaced them with new, upgraded units. Fun Town RV wasted three months of our time and did nothing to actually solve the problem. Channelview Supply did in two weeks what Fun Town couldn't do in three months. Save yourself the trouble and go to Channelview Supply for your RV service. I strongly recommend them if you want honest, competent service. read more

When it comes to principle. No-one is above the law. There is no wrong way to do the right thing. I dropped off my trailer on 07-24-2023 to get an estimate for some damages on my 2019 Travel trailer. After waiting 2 weeks I called for an update . Had to leave messages for someone to call me. No return calls. After another week waiting. I called again and had to leave a message. No return calls. This is not uncommon according to other reviews. I waited another week on Monday. I finally spoke to Alice. She promised my quote to be ready that Wednesday. No return calls. I called again. Left messages. After being ignored for 34 days. I called again on 08-28-2028. I finally was able to speak with Alice to let her know I have decided to take my trailer out and go to another facility. She told me she an estimate (all of a sudden). Must be magic. I told her I didn't want the quote and there service. If it takes numerous phone calls and 34 days to get an estimate. I cannot imagine how long it'll take for my trailer to be fixed. Rather than complicate things in the future. It is best to shake hands and part ways. Next thing I know. I get a call from the owner Becca telling me I cannot have my trailer because I owe $175.00 for an estimate. I asked her what estimate? I never received it. She blew up and told me no money no trailer. This is when things went downhill. I go pay for the estimate I didn't receive. Another gentlemen claims he is also the owner and Becca come out. Your trailer has a bad tire. We don't want to fix it. I asked nicely this is not fair. I have no way to replace it. It wasn't damaged when I brought it. You can see the picture. This tire hit something while in there possession. It is my problem now. This is when I get on the phone with Harris county because they won't give me my trailer damaged tire or not. They thought I was bluffing until I waited. Next thing I know after waiting over 30 minutes. I see the male owner pulling my trailer and dropping it with a bad tire. The most decent thing would've been for them to at least change the tire with my spare. Fortunately bad people don't intimidate me. I hired a repair company. Harris county was trying to make this a criminal case. Instead I accepted just a civil report and left. Folks great place to go in and get a part that is on the shelf. When it comes to service beware they never accept responsibility. The Customer is always wrong and management is full of excuses.. You will see when they respond. On 12/19/2022 I took my 2017 Forester Recreational Vehicle by Forest River to Channelview Supply Company to have my generator serviced. Channelview understood that I would wait for service because I live in my RV and do not tow a vehicle. They agreed and said it was not a problem to wait.The generator would not run for more than 5 minutes. Channelview replaced the regulator. I paid my bill of $323.71, thanked them and left. After arriving at my next campground, I turned on the generator. It would only run for 5 to 10 minutes and shut down. As I travel the US in my RV, I was unable to return to the Channelview Supply Company until 4/06/2023. On 4/06/2023 Channelview Supply Company, replaced the regulator with an upgraded regulator. I was given a refund of $61.21 for the original replacement of the regulator. I paid my bill, thanked them and returned to my campground. Again,immediately upon return to my campground, the generator would not run. I returned to Channelview Supply Company on 04/06/2023, the same day (second visit) and begged them to contact my extended warranty company. I'm not sure about their reluctance of contacting the warranty company. They did contact my extended warranty company, and they received authorization to remove the generator from the RV to better assess the problem. On 4/6/2023, Channelview Supply Company removed my generator from my RV for repair. I was in their waiting room from 8:30am until 4pm while they worked on my RV. I left and waited for a call from Channelview. I received a call that the generator was repaired and ready to be reinstalled into my RV, nearly two months later on or about 6/5/2023. I arrived atChannelview on 6/08/2023 to have my generator installed, that was supposed to have been repaired. The generator was installed, I paid my portion of the bill, (almost $600 because warranty only covers $150 per hour for labor, Channelview charges $175 per hour labor)warranty covered the balance. I drove 2 miles to the grocery store.Turned on the generator, waited 10 minutes and went into the store. When I returned, the generators was off and would not run. If my dog had been in my RV, she would have suffered a terrible death. I called Channelview immediately. The owner Becca was aggressive and rude. My generator is still not working and I do not feel comfortable or safe returning to Channelview SupplyCompany, especially since they were unable to fix it after five (5) separate visits. Between my payments and the extended warranty payments a total of $2,398.90 has been paid out for the same issue with my generator and it is still not fixed. Channelview Supply Company never admits wrong doing, unprofessional, aggressive, accusatory, and dishonest. I would not recommend this business. read more

yes this was a legitimate problem from two years ago. I met with Management and they were like you can't prove this was our mistake. The were like this is your problem, even though the problem started whe your shop did the work then stopped after they worked on it again. it was a big water leak that ruined part of the wall inside. when I met with them they knew they made a mistake but wouldn't admit it and again indicated I couldn't prove it was. it is interesting that the problem did not return after the second visit...but now I have to live with the damage. the second problem was regarding a warrenty job you did for Jayco. the leveling system fluid reservoir was leaking and you put a new one on..it started leaking about a year later. as it turns out it was installed incorrectly. No I didn't return because of the previous experience, I am simply making certain others know my experience, calling will n o t make a difference. I have tried to work this out already. read more

My wife and I have been customers of Channelview Supply for at least 5 years now. First we took our 5th wheel there for repairs and improvements, then we started storing our 5th wheel there, and most recently we have sent our class C to Channelview Supply to add tow bar and "toad" brake system installed. We have always had good experience with Channelview Supply and this last installation was "above and beyond". During the installation, they encountered a problem with a Ford part and Ford could not provide a replacement part that would work or be programmed to work. Though this was a Ford problem (not Channelview Supply), Maritza called Ford Service on a daily basis for updates and to push Ford to work a solution. Ford had to get their engineers involved. Finally, and I believe due to Maritza's persistence over several weeks, Ford found a solution and returned my class C in working order. When I came to pick up my RV, Robert spent a lot of time with me to ensure everything was working right, that I knew how to hook up the toad and even helped me with the procedure of putting the toad transfer case in neutral (which, FYI, is really not Channelview Supply's responsibility .. it was mine). So a big shout out and thank you to Maritza for pushing this along, a big thanks to Robert for all his help, and a thank you to Jimbo and Becca for putting some additional gas in the tank. We called and made an appointment for an estimate on the damage to our trailer. We arrived on 10-30 on time for the appointment, only to be told the man in charge of estimates was not there. We were told to leave it and he would be in the next day. The next day came and went without hearing anything on the estimate. We finally got our estimate on 11-21 or almost a month later. We accepted the estimate and as of today 1-4, nothing has been done toward fixing the trailer. They came recommended, but if I had know this is the way they conduct business, I would not have taken it here. We still have no clue when it will be ready! read more

I would give it better ratings but, when you go in and they don't have a much needed part in stock, then I would chalk it up to bad luck. However, when they don't even know that they are out of stock on a shelf item and they are just sitting around shooting the bull, then that is bad business. Took my travel trailer here to fix a leaky roof. 6 months and $9,000.00 later I get it back. During the repair process they broke the faucet on my kitchen sink. A probably ¢50 fitting needs to be replaced. They would not sell me one saying I had to buy the whole fixture that they broke in the first place. Cmon now? Will never do business with them again. Ok so we have had $29,000 worth of work on our RV here and they have done a good job however while they were working on it a rat got in it and nested in our pull out mattress. They are not going to replace it. They indicated they have no liability for your RV while they have it. So beware if you leave your RV it may get rats as they are "surrounded by pasture and they can't prevent rats from entering your RV." read more
