I've been going to Changes for many years now. I absolutely love the pedicure and gel builder nail services! Before coming to Changes I'd never experienced such a relaxing and luxurious pedicure and I basically got hooked. No other pedi service compares to lounging in a recliner for a pedicure and being pampered from start to finish. I also love that they use fresh, individual foot bowls for the pre- pedicure soak instead of the yucky foot whirlpools found in the typical nail salon. Everything about this service is elevated. Shoutout to my girl, Vivian! I also began doing gel builder manicures with Nellis last summer and wow are they fantastic! I had a really hard time growing my nails out and keeping them long without breaking one and having to start over. Gel builder allows me to grow health nails, strengthening them so they don't break. I'm pretty hooked on this too, but for someone not wanting to commit to regular service this is a great option because removal doesn't ruin your natural nail. There's also no smell, unlike acrylics, so you don't feel like you're inhaling chemicals through your service. Highly recommend! Changes is an appropriate name because the massage I got was life-changing. I was gifted a gift card to Changes for my birthday, so this was my first visit. I booked a 50 minute full body massage with Abby. While it's more expensive than the massages I usually book at less fancy places nearby, it was worth every extra penny. Abby is a master of her craft and gave me a very relaxing massage that also worked out the knots in my shoulders and upper back. It also began with a nice scented foot soak before the massage. My massage started 15-20 minutes late after I arrived early. Did not prefer Abby. She did an ok job massaging my upper back knots but then for the rest of my body it was just rubbing oil back & forth on my skin. Spa pedicure was just ok. I've had them at Changes many times before and they were amazing. This time the wet towels were cold and the technician barely exfoliated or put any lotion on. The leg massage was much shorter than usual. Then after my nails were painted the technician left as they usually do when it dried. I was relaxing and it felt like it was an extremely long time. I looked around and was able to reach my phone and realized she had left me there after everything was done for almost an hour! I tried to pull the lever to get myself out but I couldn't figure out how to use it so I was trapped. There was no one else in the room. Finally another 15 min later she came back. My 1 hour pedicure ended up taking 2 hours and 20 minutes. If she would have asked me if I wanted to stay and relax that would have been one thing but to leave me for 1 hour and 15 min alone for my nails to try and never checking on me until 1 hour and 15 minutes was not ok. And then she didn't even walk me to the front area like they usually do. She just got me out of the chair and said bye. read more

I came to Changes Salon for a scalp treatment with high hopes, but unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing and upsetting. After receiving my scalp treatment, I very shortly after began experiencing significant hair loss that has not gone away. This has been not only physically distressing but also emotionally difficult to deal with. When I returned for a follow-up appointment to express my concerns, my experience was brushed aside and I was told it couldn't possibly be related to the treatment. I later reached out by email, explained how severe the issue was, and requested a refund of the $231 that I paid. I was told no, no resolution was offered, and after that my messages were completely ignored. This entire situation has left me feeling dismissed, unsupported, and very distressed. I trusted this spa to provide safe, professional care, and instead I'm left with ongoing hair loss and no accountability from their team. I cannot recommend getting a scalp treatment here. If something goes wrong, you may not get the care, support, or professionalism you deserve. read more

This is a true place for relaxation! I don't know how they've mastered being attentive to clients, but not intrusive and bothersome. Any time we something, they're there refilling areas and locker room. But you look around and you never see them. Magic! You don't feel like they're watching you or timing you, like other spas that I've been to and been to many at different cities. Pedicures here are the most amazing ones on the planet!! Highly recommended! The chair is so comfortable and the service is very professional. The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is that the mechanics of using gift cards to apply toward a tip and the processing of the tip is very cumbersome in that they won't let you use the gift card. I think this is a bad practice, I had a chunk left on the card and it wasn't enough to get another service so I probably would've given it all to the person who gave me the pedicure , but instead I had to charge it through my credit card and then there was a fee to do that. I think this is tacky and shortsighted. You pay top dollar for a pedicure and it's totally worth it, but I think they should give you a little bit of a break and a white glove service during the checkout process. read more

I have been going to Changes for about 20 years, but the vibe and atmosphere in there really changed for the better. Not to get me wrong, it was always good, but these days I feel the stylists and technicians really feel supported by management, and they enjoy collaborating and supporting each other and that spirit affects us clients positively too. Case in point: for various reasons I had three different hair stylists over the past years, and if one of them gets sick or can't get me in I feel confident going to someone else, because they adhere to the same standards and the training for newbies is outstanding. It's also more down to earth than it was in the past, which I enjoy. You still get a superb spa experience and if you come early or are between appointments you get to enjoy the spa-room or relaxation room (not sure what the official name is) with the waterfall window. Just thinking about this room makes me feel less stressed! One word a out the pedicure: It is the best and most relaxing ever. My daughters agree. My birthday was coming up, and I wanted to treat myself, so I booked a signature facial and a Swedish massage with firm pressure. When I arrived, the staff were super friendly and gave me a brief tour of the facility. I had my facial first with Shova. It had been years since my last one, and my skin was super congested, but she did a great job, especially with the extractions. My skin felt so fresh and clean when I left! My daughter and I have been coming to Changes since she had her first haircut at 3 years old. We have always had a great experience! The stylists love the kiddos and they are so patient with their wiggly tendencies. They even have a smock for little ones with ice cream and vibrant colors on it.
