    I came to Changes Salon for a scalp treatment with high hopes, but unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing and upsetting. After receiving my scalp treatment, I very shortly after began experiencing significant hair loss that has not gone away. This has been not only physically distressing but also emotionally difficult to deal with. When I returned for a follow-up appointment to express my concerns, my experience was brushed aside and I was told it couldn't possibly be related to the treatment. I later reached out by email, explained how severe the issue was, and requested a refund of the $231 that I paid. I was told no, no resolution was offered, and after that my messages were completely ignored. This entire situation has left me feeling dismissed, unsupported, and very distressed. I trusted this spa to provide safe, professional care, and instead I'm left with ongoing hair loss and no accountability from their team. I cannot recommend getting a scalp treatment here. If something goes wrong, you may not get the care, support, or professionalism you deserve.

    This is a true place for relaxation! I don't know how they've mastered being attentive to clients, but not intrusive and bothersome. Any time we something, they're there refilling areas and locker room. But you look around and you never see them. Magic! You don't feel like they're watching you or timing you, like other spas that I've been to and been to many at different cities. If you want exemplary customer service, you just have to come here to experience it. Thanks Jaime for all the assistance!

    We currently specialize in natural nail care and we also provide some acrylic extensions. At this time we do not offer gel extensions, just gel polish.

    They all do. It a "mini" but they do during the shampoo

We arrived on time, checked in, and were escorted back to begin our services. After we had already undressed and were prepared for our massage, we were informed that the appointment could not be accommodated as scheduled because the therapists needed breaks. At no point prior to our arrival were we notified of any staffing adjustments or scheduling conflicts. Instead, we were told, after we were already ready for service, that the massages would have to take place in separate rooms. We were then informed that they were fully booked for the rest of the day and could not reschedule us for the couples experience we originally booked. The only alternative offered was a complimentary guided self experience in the sauna, which was not comparable to what we had reserved. Alexa, the hospitality manager, did apologize and stated that Anna, the spa director, would be contacting us. As of yet, that has not happened. The lack of communication and follow through was extremely frustrating. If therapist breaks were going to interfere with scheduled appointments, we should have been notified before arriving. Being informed only after we were undressed and expecting our couples massage was uncomfortable and unprofessional. This experience reflected a serious lapse in customer service. When a service cannot be delivered as promised, there should be a meaningful effort to correct the situation and ensure the client still receives what they scheduled. I recommend taking your hard earned money somewhere you are valued and not expected to simply accept something different than what you reserved. Anna, After receiving your comment on my previous post, I feel it is important to clarify our position. We shared with you, as customers, exactly what our experience was booking this appointment online through your company's website. Rather than acknowledging how this situation unfolded from the client's perspective, your response focuses on explaining internal policies and procedures. Our frustration is not about therapist breaks or operational logistics. It is about communication. At no point prior to our arrival were we notified that the couples room was not secured. We arrived on time, were escorted back, undressed, and only then informed that the appointment would not be accommodated as expected. That is the core issue. As customers, we can only rely on the booking system provided by your company. If duet services must be reserved by phone and the online system does not guarantee placement in the same room, that process should be made unmistakably clear and proactively confirmed before guests arrive, especially for something as specific as a couples massage. Furthermore, instead of continuing this issue publicly from a policy standpoint, I believe this should be addressed internally within your company to ensure others do not experience the same poor communication and disappointment. Our intention in sharing our review was simply to express our experience honestly and highlight an opportunity for improvement.

This was my first time ever…read morehaving a facial at a spa, so I was excited and a little nervous not knowing what to expect. The front desk staff was very helpful -- walking me through the consent forms, showing me the changing area, and helping me set the password for my locker. After changing, you're given a robe and slippers. The robe is incredibly soft and almost weighted, which added to the comfort. It even has pockets for your jewelry or glasses. Phones are not allowed in the treatment area, and no video/photo is permitted past the changing room, which I appreciated (and respected) for privacy. The facial itself was extremely relaxing. The music was at the perfect volume, and the room lighting was dim without being too dark -- just enough to enhance the experience. The service included a hand and arm massage with hot stones and warm compresses, which was such a nice touch. One minute I was getting a scrub, and the next I was waking up -- it was that relaxing. They also have a retail area at the front where you can purchase the products used during your service. Overall, a wonderful first spa experience. I'm already looking forward to booking my second facial and trying other services they offer. 100% would recommend

Two things that I can't ignore and hope management reads this. 1. There is room for improvement on the locker room getting so crowded. 2. Do NOT trust the sandals. They are plastic and incredibly slippery when wet. Since they are not sized to the individual, it's dangerous. I slipped out of my sandals and fell down the stairs in the large Russian Sauna. This resulted in multiple abrasions and a large laceration on my forearm and I actually got stitches for the first time. Sandals have to be fixed, there's stairs everywhere here. The people in the sauna were super nice and helped me, luckily, I'm pretty fit, but it could've been really really bad. Credit to the staff for not charging me for my time there, honestly, I would've rather paid and left uninjured. I'm not 100% sure that I would return, it just happened today so maybe in time that will change.

I waited until 10:30 on the bench outside after trying to open the door but the salon was dark and locked. I pulled up the salon's website on Google only to discover it was closed on Mondays. I called the salon and left a voicemail about what I assumed was an online booking error, since their Google profile in fact states they are closed on Mondays and the salon was closed and locked, and then I left after 10:30. I later got a text from Brittany the stylist asking where I was. Very confused, I explained to her what happened. She gave me an attitude and told me I needed to come back for the appointment, that she was late due to an accident on the freeway so that's why no one was here to open the salon/let me in for my appointment, and due to their cancellation policy, I had to come back down to the salon for my appointment. I told her that Google stated they were closed on Monday, the salon was dark and locked, and no one answered or called me back after I left appointment, so again, I assumed it was an online booking error and I left. She got very argumentative with me (instead of apologizing and clarifying), insisted she was stuck in traffic and that's why she wasn't here to let me in, and insisted again that I needed to come back for her or I would be charged due to their cancellation policy. She also kept arguing with me that "no I was here," at 10:30, before later changing her story and telling me she was stuck in traffic. She was not here. I sat on the bench outside, everything was dark, the door was locked, and again, no one answered the phone or called me back after leaving a voice message. I told her I wasn't engaging in such an unprofessional conversation and she raised her voice and told me I was being unprofessional, at which point I disconnected the call. I am shocked at the way I was left hanging in front of a closed salon for my scheduled appointment, then contacted LATER and told I NEEDED TO COME BACK or face cancellation fees when it was the salon and Brittany's fault that no one was there for my scheduled appointment and no one answered when I left a voicemail, leaving me to assume there was an online booking error and the salon was actually closed. How was I supposed to know/assume any of that?? I am even more shocked by Brittany's horribly rude and unprofessional argumentative demands that I better turn around and come back LATE for my appointment or I would be charged, when the entire reason I left was because SHE was late, the salon was CLOSED, no one answered the phone or returned my voicemail, and no one communicated to me that they were in fact open today but my stylist was late and on her way. I worked in the salon industry as an esthetician and makeup artist for years and never have I encountered such an unprofessional interaction. Never.
