I have been meaning to write this review for so long, but finally... here it is!…read more My sister and I visited this VCA Hospital after learning that Dr. K was a certified veterinarian who could permit my dog to arrive in Hawaii without quarantining, as Hawaii is a rabies-free state. The process was very very stressful and took months for us. A lot of the steps were confusing and we didn't have anyone to help us as our general vet was not a certified vet nor was she familiar with the process. Our general vet recommended Dr. K at VCA who was certified vet and was familiar with the steps to take. Even with his busy schedule with appointments, he was able to fit us in very quickly, as timing was EVERYTHING to bring a dog to Hawaii! At our appointment, Dr. K patiently explained all the steps to us very thoroughly. It was obvious that he was extremely experienced with this process and was happy to help us figure it out. He even took the time to come back to the clinic during his vacation to wet sign a document that I needed to show once I land in Hawaii with my dog. Without his help, we would've been clueless and even more stressed out. The rest of the staff member was amazing and helpful. I 100% recommend this clinic!

I had asked the vet about getting a recommendation for a trainer and she said she would provide a list but couldn't be bothered to. When they had it in the system bc it was the second time I went there. Then when they finally took my puppy they told me that cindy was going to be my groomer, and she was awful. She was eating Fritos and didn't even bother to wash her hands to grab my puppy. SHE IS HORRIBLE. My puppy looked exactly the same as when I left her, she didn't even cut her nails, I couldn't even see her eyes. Like I said HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Definitely not coming back here again. When she hopped in my car, her paws were disgustingly muddy and she smelled horrid. I brought her home and bathed her and she had a huge gash on her nose. When my husband called to let Sergio know we were pulling her and that we were happy to pay for the 3 days but wanted a refund for the rest, Sergio told him that those 3 days were $125/each bc they had done such intensive training each day. I reached out to see what training was completed w our pup since I was told nothing was done but nobody got back to me. Highly do NOT recommend.
