Mikele with my husband and me.
Adeline C.

My husband Robert and I took an amazing lesson with Mikele on his court in Beverly Hills! He's an incredible teacher AND tennis player too. We enjoyed our time - Mikele is awesome!

Nichole P.

Never a dull moment with Mikele! Since working with Mikele I've found the confidence of the court I never knew I had. Always a fun time full of very useful information and skill development!

The courts are very clean and well-maintained, and the restrooms are clean as well. The temperature inside the court was just right--cool enough that you don't feel suffocated, but warm enough to make you sweat and enjoy the game! A special shoutout to Jared at the front desk. He was incredibly helpful and friendly. He even helped me sign up for PlayByPoint and patiently assisted me with everything I needed. His excellent customer service really made our experience even better. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to play pickleball--even late at night!

The staff is incredible--always kind, welcoming, and eager to offer support and guidance. This is exactly the kind of place I want my teenage son spending his time. What truly sets this facility apart is the community. There are so many outstanding role models and caring adults who take the time to talk with him, encourage him, and provide guidance--not just in pickleball, but in life. Knowing that my son is surrounded by positive influences who genuinely care about his growth and well-being gives me peace of mind. We are so grateful to be part of such a supportive and uplifting environment!

The good: Parking is easy here. There were many beautiful…read moreblooming trees with pink flowers. There was a soccer field with great modern turf. There's a sand area but most of the playground has the bouncy ground. There are picnic tables and benches. The park is really spacious with a wide range of playground equipment made for wheelchairs and with disabilities. It has a toddler area tactile and musical playground equipment. There's a zip line. There's a lot of shaded areas. There's a boat, space ship, tunnel, slides, rolling metal slide, balance beams shaped like balls, and so much more. It's a super inclusive playground with a diverse group of patrons as well. The bad: The parking lot had some cars that looked like people were living out of their car. There was a pee stench at the entrance. Toward the toddler area there was a guy smoking weed. The interesting: It has a LA theme with references to the observatory, freeway and more.

It's ok when there's enough lanes, otherwise not a great experience…read more Most of the swimmers here tend to be on the older side, or just very slow/beginners. This makes it frustrating when it's crowded, and there are designated lanes for medium-fast swimmers, but they're taken up by slow/beginner swimmers. Had to wait around for 10 minutes until there was space. Needs to be a better of way of controlling/managing the lanes so that different swim levels can swim without the pool being completely overrun by slow swimmers, making it harder for other levels to enjoy the pool space.

Came here for open play while I visited cali…read more I am definitely a fan! For $18, you get 3.5 hours of open play. The entire facility is reserved for open play and there is also one separate challenge court. I spent time at both. First of all, love the courts. Plenty of space surrounding each court, and plenty of space to lob and/or go for ATPs. They were well spaced out. Didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes to get a game. You'll find folks at all levels. At the challenge court where I spent most of the time, there was a mix of 3.5 - 4.5 level type players but I'm sure it may vary. There is a really big rest area that has ample, plush couches for seating. Bathrooms are very nice and clean which is a plus. Would definitely go back.

They had fans going but they weren't sufficient. I guess it was a little better than playing outside. At $50 an hour all day, it is a bit overpriced especially since we were there during non prime hours. It was a Tuesday at 1:00 and there were only a few people on one or two other courts. I prefer places that provide reduced pricing for non prime hours. I may be a little spoiled but I was surprised that the floor is not padded. It really makes a difference when your knees don't have to absorb all the impact.

It has a great community feel and is a comfortable place to play whether you're new to the game or have been playing for years. I enjoyed having the option of playing indoors or out, and the ability to play open, or participate in clinics and lessons. The staff and coaches are great --friendly and knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping you improve. Definitely a great place to play pickleball in Santa Monica. I'll be back!

I was a member for nearly three months, playing weekly and bringing four to six people with me…read moreevery single week -- roughly $600 a month in court fees walking through their door because of me. Here's what that bought me. I signed up for an open game listed at 3.5-4.0. The signup was open to every member. Not one member at this facility has a displayed rating -- not me, not anyone else in that game. Manager Kathy Nagler called to tell me that owner Mary Pat had decided I couldn't play. I disputed it -- I have a paid membership and the game was open to sign up. Mary Pat then called me directly and doubled down, insisting I wasn't qualified. When I asked how the rating system worked, she admitted there is no rating system. It's her personal opinion, applied to whoever she feels like applying it to, with no criteria you can see, meet, or appeal. I had moved my work schedule to be there. I didn't get to play at all. I told Mary Pat that removing a paying member from an open game with no stated criteria is poor service and poor communication, and that nothing in my membership said I could be pulled from a game I'd signed up for. The next morning she called and revoked my membership -- because I complained. So understand what you're actually buying here: a membership fee, plus $20 an hour per person, for access to games you can be removed from at any moment for reasons that don't exist on paper. Whether you play comes down to whether Mary Pat feels like letting you. And if you say anything about it, you're gone. If you want a facility with published ratings, consistent rules, and an owner who can handle a customer raising a concern without cancelling them, this is not it. There are other courts in this area. Go to one of them.
