It was a scary experience, y'all! The next morning, I called several shops in the area. I was hesitant because I've been burnt badly!! I almost didn't call them because like many, I was under the impression that they were a tire store. But I soon found out that the "plus" stood for full services. Tires Plus Sawgrass not only beat everyone's estimate, but they gave me a same-day appointment which others would not do. Now, before you assume they were dead--they weren't! They were fully staffed and the customers flowed all day into the evening! Everyone I encountered (and observed) are professional and most of all, genuinely caring and willing to go the extra mile, pun intended, to help their customers get quality service at the lowest competitive cost. They also offer a drive now, pay later option for your auto service and tires through their Tires Plus Credit Card and the Tires Plus Mastercard which I completed digitally and took less than three minutes. Having been a victim of fraud, I also felt peace of mind that my personal data was kept entirely confidential--between me and the company only. Sure enough, I took the SAME tire (only 4 months old!) to another shop, and they repaired it for $12. The nail had barely gone through -- it was absolutely fixable. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. This is a deceptive and unethical business practice. I essentially paid $305 for something I didn't need. To make matters worse, when I called to speak with a manager, I was told they weren't available and no contact information could be provided. Very disappointing experience. I would not trust this location.

Got my car back and it ran like crap. Felt like a cable was slapping around, back up lights did not work (They did prior) and the clutch chattered a lot. They told me to let the clutch slip and it would wear down. Brought it to Bob's Automotive in Sunrise. They told me the transmission mount was ruptured, the transmission was only held in with three bolts, the throw out bearing was never changed and my clutch cable was extremely loose. The pressure plate was warped and the back up switch was damaged. Had to re-pay to have the transmission done again. Car runs great now. I also paid less for a new clutch and labor then Gold Coast charged me for just labor...so not a good experience.

Warning: Do Not Trust Champion 4X4 I had a deeply disappointing and infuriating experience with Champion 4X4 that I feel compelled to share. I brought my truck to them to install a Rough Country lift kit, which I had purchased myself, and they were also supposed to replace my wheel bearings. Unfortunately, their service turned out to be nothing short of a scam. Approximately one month after the work was supposedly completed, I was stranded on Interstate 595 when my wheel bearing blew out. To my shock, I discovered they had never replaced the bearing as promised, yet they still charged me for the labor. This is outright theft. I immediately took my truck to a reputable shop, Gears and Rears, owned by a man with over 40 years of experience with a stellar reputation. He confirmed that Champion 4X4 had never done the work they billed me for and that he has often went behind the work this shop produces or the lack thereof. Adding insult to injury, Champion 4X4 fired several staff members and moved their supposedly "misbehaving" employees to another location to hide their misconduct. The owner refused to refund my money, fix the issues, or even pay to replace my stolen hitch--a $250 military hitch that they stole from my vehicle. When I asked about cameras, they claimed they didn't work, which I highly doubt. As a combat veteran on a fixed income, I am outraged that I was cheated out of over $3,500 and then dismissed with blatant disrespect. Their staff's attitude was nasty, and they even went so far as to dispute my credit card charge by fabricating false part numbers--despite me having the original part that was supposed to be installed. My advice to anyone considering their services is: steer clear. There are dishonest people running this operation, and I strongly recommend avoiding all Champion 4X4 locations. Their behavior is unprofessional, deceitful, and downright criminal. Be careful out there--there are snakes in the grass, and Champion 4X4 is one of them. read more

This place is awesome ! They take the time to sit down and plan your build from A-Z.... you can tell it's a group of real gear heads that love what they do , especially the Hialeah store manager Johnathan . He's more into racing cars than off-roading which is cool , but I wouldn't let him drive my truck angry because I have overheard him several times bragging on how he has broken several transmissions .... Like if you go on a Monday you'll hear him by the water cooler with the guys about how he blew a few trannies over the weekend . And like whatever dude , I wouldn't let a customer overhear that you destroyed a transmission. But I heard him a bunch of times with like a weird look on his face whispering ,"I love blowing trannies ". and always talking about loving "BBC" , I'm a Fox News type of guy myself. cool people in general , just don't let Johnathan anywhere close to your tranny . - chris read more

I don't trust anyone with my truck except Champion 4x4. I take my truck to them exclusively for any work needed and accessories I want installed. They are fair and honest. The work is high quality and they do not pressure you to do unnecessary work. They will point things out to you and physically show any repair work to you, not like other shops that tell you that you need work done but don't take the time to physically show you what's wrong or could be about to go bad.
