We visited late one day and had the opportunity to have an experience, vs a tasting. Pierre shared the history of his history, family, and where his champagne came from. He did all this without us knowing he was the "Pierre" in company name. All of the bubbles were spectacular, and they gave bonus pours as well with their high-end wines, so a super plus in my books. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable and answered every question we had. We walked through the entire maison and got to see the vineyards on site. Visiting in late August, the vines were full and ready to be picked in the coming weeks. In addition to the wonderful tour, their grounds were extremely classy and sleek. The tasting room and outside lounge area were both beautifully designed. We chose the "Discovery" experience which was $26 each and the tasting involved Lanson's Le Black Label Brut and Le Rosé. More than elated by our experience and their champagnes, we bought a few bottles at their shop.

We took the train from Paris and she happily picked us up on the station, where she then took us on a tour of the champagne vineyards in Sacy, and showed us where they press the grapes and taught us all about the different varietals. Next was the best part of the tour where she took us to go taste the champagne accompanied by the most delicious and luxurious cheese and charcuterie plate I have ever had my entire life. The view from the tasting area was nothing less than breathtaking and surreal.
