We visited late one day and had the opportunity to have an experience, vs a tasting. Pierre shared the history of his history, family, and where his champagne came from. He did all this without us knowing he was the "Pierre" in company name. There was no marketing speak, no presentation, just great conversation amongst someone who loves making and others who love drinking champagne.

Greeted by the wonderful staff and sat at a table with a sample tasting flight. We were walked through the entire flight and given insights into the wine making process, which was great. All of the bubbles were spectacular, and they gave bonus pours as well with their high-end wines, so a super plus in my books. Price point, very affordable with it being a much smaller winery versus the other large ones in the area. Finding it as well was quite simple as it was located just slightly out of downtown Reims, so walkable is easily done! While not the largest, they left maybe the best impression on my visit!

When we arrived, there were 10 people including ourselves, so it was an intimate tour experience. I was beyond happy to see that the tour was just as in-depth, engaging, and educating as I had read. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable and answered every question we had. We walked through the entire maison and got to see the vineyards on site. Visiting in late August, the vines were full and ready to be picked in the coming weeks. In addition to the wonderful tour, their grounds were extremely classy and sleek. The tasting room and outside lounge area were both beautifully designed. We chose the "Discovery" experience which was $26 each and the tasting involved Lanson's Le Black Label Brut and Le Rosé. More than elated by our experience and their champagnes, we bought a few bottles at their shop.

Just a short trip from the bus and train station, the Champagne house was incredibly accommodating, offering a very affordable and last-minute booking for a tour and tasting. They offered a safe place for us to store our luggage so we didn't have to drag it around, and even though it was cold, we were given a very thorough tour through all the grounds, vineyards, and cellars. Our guide was fun, knowledgable, and spoke perfect English, and the house itself emulates class and luxury while still remaining an accessible price. The tour was small and personal, and our guide made it fun and informative despite the cold and wind chill. Will definitely try to come back if I can visit Reims again!

This was an extremely interesting tour. Our driver Trong Nguyen picked me up from my apartment…read morerental in Paris. He then handed out small bags of freshly made pastries and croissants to me and the other 4 people on the tour (along with hot coffee). The drive out to Champagne took a little under two hours. Our first stop of the day was in just one of the many hundreds of vineyards. Trong educated us on the growing, tending and harvesting of the grape vines - it takes around 2 years of training before you are allowed to work in the field. We then drove to a local champagne maker where we learned how the champagne was made, bottled, labelled and shipped - this also came with a complimentary tasting of three different champagnes I took a full day tour of Reims/Champagne on May 18, 2026. It was a really We then drove into Reims where we sat down for a mandatory two hour lunch - the entire City shuts down during this lunch period. Following lunch, we explored the Reims Cathedral where many of the French kings were crowned. The Cathedral itself was destroyed three times by the Germans - The Franco-Prussian war, WWI and WWII but has now been completed restored with private funds only. After visiting the Cathedral, we then drove to the Pommery Champagne House which features a champagne museum. We descended several hundred feet into the Caves (which run for miles underground). Pommery claims to store, 23,000,000 bottles of Champagne in its Cave. Following our visit to the Museum, we then have another champagne tasting before heading back to Paris arriving in Paris around 7:30 PM (just in time for dinner!). This was a very enjoyable and interesting day. I now feel that I have doubled my knowledge of champagne and have another 98% to go. Champagne is stunningly beautiful - vineyards stretching to the horizon. It is hard to imagine that this was on the frontlines of the trenches during WWI. I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour also included a vintage taste, but I must admit the way this was handled was pretty disappointing compared to most wineries (you just get deposited at a bar and handed a glass). The tour didn't feel very tactile or really about the wine, more the process and the caves. It would be better without the music and with multiple examples of Pommery to taste rather than one (admittedly pretty good, but not fantastic) vintage.

We took the train from Paris and she happily picked us up on the station, where she then took us on a tour of the champagne vineyards in Sacy, and showed us where they press the grapes and taught us all about the different varietals. Next was the best part of the tour where she took us to go taste the champagne accompanied by the most delicious and luxurious cheese and charcuterie plate I have ever had my entire life. The view from the tasting area was nothing less than breathtaking and surreal. I was able to enjoy my champagne and lunch while taking in the view of a lifetime; a beautiful vineyard overlooking a French chateau in the distance. If I ever had the opportunity to do this tour again, I would do it in a heartbeat!
