Crème brûlée toast
Sneha P.

I went to this local coffee shop multiple times while I was in Kansas City. Their Matcha's are delicious and they have many varieties. My favorite was the banana caramel Matcha, which had a banana foster flavor. My fiancé got the tiramisu Matcha with a shot of espresso, which he thought was a good mix of coffee and Matcha. I also really liked the Horchata latte as it was a good amount of sweetness with cinnamon flavor. Their Oreo cookie was also good, but a little too sweet for my liking. I did like the crème brûlée toast as it was very crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. I was expecting the toes to have a cream filling, but it was toasted bread, soaked in crème brûlée flavored milk. This coffee shop is relatively new at this location in Westport, as they used to be operating from a food truck before.

Still drinking this right now but this is the best matcha I've had!! I got the Mango Matcha and it's the perfect spring/summer drink. I was worried it would be too much but it's the perfect ratio. The inside is SO cute, I took it to go to take to work.

Obsessed with this place and the mango matcha!!! It was so smooth and the perfect amount of sweetness/flavor. I never get matcha bc I am so picky about it and I will definitely be coming here regularly! The inside is such a vibe too-- so cute & cozy.

I absolutely love the ambiance here. A perfect place to spend a morning and study! The drinks are delicious, and the service is quick and made to order. I love this matcha bar, and would definitely come back!

I'd heard their Matcha Lattes were incredibly good, and it's absolutely true! I got the Banana Caramel Matcha and it was just heavenly. Already looking forward to my next visit to get another one, or maaaaaybe I'll try another of their creative flavors. I'm also glad I grabbed a chocolate chip cookie on a whim because it was one of the best I've ever had!

Elf's Eggnog Matcha & Merry Apple Matcha

First time at Chambre and I totally get the hype. All of their drinks from their holiday menu sounded so good - it was hard to decide. The Elf's Eggnog Matcha was so sweet and creamy, though in all honestly, I couldn't really taste the matcha but the eggnog flavor was hitting hard.

Chambre is the spot for discovering unique and flavorful matchas. I did a tour around the metro looking for incredible matchas, and Chambre came highly recommended. While I hadn't been since the last coffee shop in that space closed its doors, I fell in love with their caramelized banana matcha latte. The space is very simple and clean. There are a few communal tables, however the ambiance is less inviting than it has been. While the menu is slightly limited, my friends have enjoyed their coffee. I got a heated cookie the last time I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised at how soft the inside was. I also really enjoyed the smoothness of their pistachio matcha.

tiramisu latte and matcha crepe

I'm a matcha and coffee fan so when I was looking for places in Missouri to try and saw this I immediately knew I had to try it. The matcha crepe tastes exactly like matcha obviously, is very soft and melts in your mouth. I ate mine cold but i'm sure if you wanted to you could heat it up. I also got the tiramisu latte which is so, so good. It's sweet and tastes so delicious, just like a bakery good. I got mine iced and the prices are very good in my opinion. The ladies serving me were very kind and pretty! My cashier was very helpful as it was my first time at this coffee shop. You should definitely give it a try sometime if you're in the area or even if you aren't i'd say it's worth the drive!

The tiramisu latte is so amazing!! Great space inside, and the baristas were also so nice!

Tried Chambre Coffee after seeing it on social media. Since they were known for their matcha, I tried the banana carmel matcha which was the best I've ever tried!!!! The barista was so helpful with the menu and gave me some great suggestions for the next time I come back (tiramisu latte is next on my list)!!!! I worked remotely for a few hours and it was a great cozy atmosphere.

This is such an aesthetic coffee shop. There is floor seating with cushions surrounding a table. Very different from any other coffeeshop I've been to and I liked it. I tried the iced strawberry matcha and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The strawberry flavor felt very artificial and didn't mesh well with the matcha. We also tried the tiramisu and it was also okay. Definitely not the best tiramisu but not the worst!

not my favorite matcha but the flavor i wanted to try (strawberry) was out. instead i got the seasonal pumpkin flavor and it tasted very much like a fall candle to me. i definitely won't base the whole experience on one bad drink tho. the baristas were super helpful and it's such a cute, quiet, cozy space that i would come back to study or to try something else on their menu.

It's me again...back for round two at Chambre Coffee with my boyfriend and I have to say, it was just as amazing as our first visit! This time, we both surprisingly went with matcha (I think I'm rubbing off on him!). Since they were out of the strawberry matcha, we were offered some great alternatives. We ended up trying the passion fruit matcha and the mango matcha--and trust me when I say, both were amazing! My boyfriend is a huge mango lover and let's just say if he decides to go with matcha again, the mango matcha will be at the top of his list as it was very refreshing and had a great punch of mango flavor. As for me, the passion fruit matcha had a great tropical punch that I'll definitely be coming back for! Oh and of course, we couldn't leave without getting the cinnamon roll, which was just as amazing as the first time. This one had a bit of a crunch around the edges, it was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. This spot is quickly becoming a favorite for us!

I remembered this restaurant being one of my favorites in years past . For some reason it fell off my radar. Now it's shining like a beacon of fine dining French inspired cuisine in Westport, an entertainment district known for a more casual environment. If you are looking for a special date night meal, somewhere for a girls night or just for a treat yourself dinner I would highly suggest Westport Cafe. Let's talk about this incredible restaurant week menu. First was the deconstructed crab cake (which is always on the menu) I would order this dish again and again. The way it was presented was a work of art. All the components were complex and it was fun to eat. It has such an essence of crab without the heaviness deep fried crab cakes usually have. Seafood is special here because the Trout Almondine was one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. It begs to be added to the menu. The sauce was buttery and rich with nutty notes, the citrus cut through the richness so, it didn't seem heavy. The fish was cooked impeccably, I literally had no notes. They know what they're doing in that kitchen! And you know if I can rave about green beans then it was a perfectly executed dish. They had such a nice snap and vibrant green color, they were delicious dipped in that sauce. I cannot wait to go back for another solo splurge meal. This was my second dinner of the evening so I didn't make it to dessert at the restaurant but, I did take it to-go. I'm not a big dessert girl so, it wasn't very memorable however, the rest of the meal is engrained in my mind. I remember back a few years ago I used to go crazy for the muscles here so, I can't wait to sample them again. Also, just a note any menu that has rabbit on it just completes me. It's so hard to find nowadays in Kansas City and it's one of my favorite meats to indulge in. The menu rotates seasonally (as one should) so, I need to rush back in soon before the rabbit leaves. I would suggest you rush in too, I do not think you'll regret it.

I originally wanted to try their tamales, but saw they had chilaquiles, which is an authentic breakfast choice in Mexico, so I should know. The chilaquiles with two over easy eggs were so authentically close, which the avocado exception because chilaquiles don't have avocado slices, but this wasn't a deal breaker, and in fact added more tasty protein to the mix. I really enjoyed the chilaquiles breakfast here and so did my husband. What was even more special was that it went wonderfully well with their coffee here. They have excellent java at this place.

The red sauce it came with was super good though and had a little bit of heat. I went there to read a book, and I did find that there weren't a lot of good 'lounge' seating options that I could see. The upstairs had an outdoor lounge chair that was cushioned but still not super comfortable. This place might be better to go and get work done at a table rather than sit down with a book and read for a couple hours, I still am looking forward to coming back but I do think with that in mind it will affect my decision on when I go though.
