An unexpected combination for sure but surprisingly good. This place is close to a bouldering gym and the people that work here are so sweet and friendly that I can't wait to come back again soon. Parking is mostly parallel, so keep mind of this. I immediately was greeted by the kindest barista. I realized after I left they were about to close, but she was still so sweet even though I was being a clueless customer.‍ She quickly started recommending me the specials with care when I shared it was my first time. She even explained the flavors and ingredients without me asking. I wish I remembered her name, but it was 10/5 near close when I came! She was the best and made this experience 1000x better. I ordered the salted honey oat milk latte, Iced. When she was making my latte, she pulled out the syrup in a swing top glass bottle, so I knew it was going to be good. The espresso was bold with no bitter notes, very smooth. Milk was delightfully flavorful. And the best part, the in-house syrups gave it that defined flavor expression you only get with these small cafe gems. My 12 oz iced latte came out to around $7.80, so it is on the pricier side for what you are getting. If you really cherish good espresso and syrups, then you will appreciate it still. There were also some adorable pastries with unique flavors, I think there was a cinnamon roll with espresso in it or something similar to that. Definitely need to try!

It's tucked away in a little corporate park and I bet the businesses near by lover having access to this coffee shop. I personally could see myself coming back with friends to get a coffee and enjoy a lovely walk around the pond! The space is good. It's got lots of seating (bar height, low tops and then couches) and they have a shaded patron for those who want to soak in some vitamin D! I will say that it's a little walk up from the parking lot, but they have ada accessible sidewalks so if you have a wheelchair or stroller it's not hard to get to. It's a little confusing where to access it best from the looping parking lots, but North lot seems the most direct. Now for the best part, the coffee and food items! I ordered from their seasonal menu (in Fall it's a must) and got the Apple Butter Latte over ice. I also got a sweet treat! All their baked goods are from Aurora Bakery, so a great partnership. They also have quiche and turkey sandwiches, but it's a popular quick lunch for people so don't be surprised if they sell out on you! Lastly, the woman working was a lovely. She was friendly and warm in greeting me; and the more we chatted about the space the more she seemed excited to tell me about it. My only issues with my experience was the long line and sparse seating available, but I visited over the weekend following Christmas so it may have been busier than usual. Once I got to the front of the line, I was greeted by the friendly barista and placed my order. I got a 12 oz. Latte with spiced brown sugar syrup and it was delicious! The latte was very smooth and creamy, and had the perfect amount of syrup to complement the espresso taste. There were two stocked refrigerators and some snacks available in line if you want a quick soda or snack. Note that you can only take food and beverages to the coffee shop area and lobby entrance to the museum!

If you haven't tried ube, you're missing out! Ube is a purple yam, I first had in Hawaii and seeing it combined in coffee drinks peaked my interest. To begin with, Chambre Coffee is located inside of the old Westport Coffeehouse building. I have many memories of the old coffeehouse, including a first date with my now husband, so it holds some nostalgia for me. Despite that, I would be the first to say it was time for a new cafe to take the reigns in this location and after seeing so many hyped reviews I was really excited to come and see what the new spot was all about. When I pulled up I could see the new minimalist branding and I was honestly really surprised at how different the entire cafe looked inside. It's hard to describe but it somehow feels smaller, despite having way less furniture. I ordered some kind of specialty drink and sat down at a table. I have to say a big part of my lower rating is that I just didn't care for the ambiance. It was so quiet, with hardly anybody else working, that you could hear a pin drop. It just felt awkward to sit there and take a meeting like I was about to do. There is also way less seating and it just felt sort of cold in there. The old spot had its flaws, but it was nearly always busy with people studying, meeting up, reading a book, etc, it had strong coffee shop vibes, and I'm missing that here. The coffee itself was okay - I think I'd try something else next time. Overall, it was just okay. I would like to return sometime and give them another go. Maybe with a more friendly barista, and some light music in the background I'll have a different experience. Wishing this new business all the best though, and hope to return to give them another try.
