Today when we came home we had no water, have MANY precautions in place so we knew it wasn't frozen, so we thought surely it was the well pump. I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Licensing Board about this company, and I am not the…read morefirst person (they told me that there are a minimum of 8 complaints, including several lawsuits). Shea Phillips drilled the well on my property in Oct 2021, and everything seemed to work fine until Jan 2023 (about 15 months). Then the well stopped functioning. The transducer failed, or that's what I assumed was the problem, based upon the error message on the control panel. I attempted to contact this company 4 times over 2 months. I did get one vague reply, but then nothing happened after that. The transducer should have been under a 2 year warranty, so this should have been an easy warranty job. I talked with my neighbor, and he told me that I should contact another well company to fix the well. I called Chambers and Phillips (no association with this company), and they advised me to contact the Texas Licensing Board. I completed the formal complaint and filed an affidavit with them, with the expectation that I will need to file a lawsuit eventually. The licensing folks told me that there was fraud on the State well report for my well. It said that the well was "owner drilled" when I had absolutely nothing to do with the drilling. In addition, the dates of when the well was completed were totally wrong. In addition, according to the licensing board, Shea Phillips DOES NOT HAVE A CURRENT DRILLING LICENSE. He did not renew his license as of Fall 2022. Then I scheduled an appointment with Chambers and Phillips to fix the well. They had to replace the transducer, and they noticed that the motor was originally wired backwards (which isn't a big deal, if you know that's the way it is wired), and that the company originally installed a cover box for the control panel that was the "cheap route." Chambers and Phillips folks were SUPER helpful and accommodating. Also I have found out that Shea Phillips goes around telling people that his business broke off from Chambers and Phillips, but this is a lie. He has never been associated with them. Bottom line, Shea is a con man that takes short cuts and doesn't take care of his customers or his obligations. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Use a reputable company like Chambers and Phillips for your well drilling and well maintenance needs.

Have had these folks out several times over the years and have always been fair to my parents. Had…read morethem out first of March cause so much iron in water had ruined tank for well. They gave us fair price and fixed super fast the same day. About 2 weeks later a fitting where pressure gauge screwed in had cracked. They came out super fast again and fixed it under warranty. I would recommend them as they took care of my senior parents vs a company trying to take advantage of them. Thanks a lot!

It is a pitiful shame that the crew's great job is offset by the dishonesty of the salesman. The company even admitted that the salesman is not aware or up to date on what they are selling but they gladly keep the money for services sold and not rendered.
