They leave their dog outside on their porch for several hours everyday in a crate, and the dog barks/cries and whines constantly. It is really disturbing because it happens very late at night and early in the mornings as well. Currently living at the property summit on Thomas owned by Chamberlin associates and just moved in 3 months ago. Upon move in the place was digesting. Roaches everywhere. White painted over everything including inside of cable lan wire. Painted over all cabinets and their magnets to shut so now none of them shut. Ac and heater have been not working. I've put multiple request in and they say there's nothing they can do about it. Also no hot water for the past 3 days. No text warning. Office won't answer my calls. I have a newborn daughter. I need hot water in my apartment that I pay 1500 a month for. This is outrageous. read more

Today I wanted to discuss my new lease agreement, which is $500 more than last year, and the associate was a no show. It is 100° outside and she made no attempt to get in contact with me within 15 minutes while I waited outside. Then she has the nerve to text me once I'm already home to tell us she is at Playa Palms, the OTHER apartment complex we don't even LIVE AT. I have lived at my apartment complex (Sahara Palms) for 4 years. I have never been late on rent. Over those 4 years, I also only had an increase of $50. Absolute dogwater service with absolute dogwater managers. What you are doing should be criminal and you know it. Do not give these crooks anymore money. ISo let me just say my apartments have been through hell in the past years from many different management and we finally get new management and they don't care about us either. The people who WORK at my apartments are amazing now, but the new problem now is the "owners" and the "investors" and the actually property management "Chamberlin". It's been over two weeks since I called and spoke with the very condescending front desk Monica I believe that's her name not only screens calls an hour before lunch but she screens them so she can pick and choose who to even bother calling back. After the second call back a week later she was just so giggly and dense trying to down play that this wasn't an issue and that it wasn't "her problem when they called me back". Oh so FOUR residents all waiting for a situation to be resolved and property being messed with by someone who WORKS FOR US isn't a big problem? I even mentioned leaving some reviews and contacting the media. "OH I'll make sure to let them know you are threatening them" haha. Yeah threatening to tell the world what trash you are must really scare ya'll huh? But either way, just keep calling that's the only way to get an answer, and do NOT leave a voice mail that's an even bigger waste of time. I do not call into places like this or stress problems unless it's a real issue. We have had multiple issues with the actual INVESTORS GROWN man grandson BEN putting his political views on residents doors and also on suspect suspicion for knocking over my neighbors bike right after. 4 years my neighbors have lived here with ZERO issues. This guys here doing flyers for 20 min and this all happens. My manager wanted him removed from the property and there was nothing even she could even do to help the matter because she can't fire him. He's a investors grandson!? So it's like what do normal people do when a big fancy pair of dudes spend 40 million dollars to buy out you're apartments and then send their most un professional, childish grown man to help put POOP signs on our doors and instead uses his time to write his preferences down and stick them on our door. When I confronted him I FRONT of my manager at the apartment he couldn't even look me in my face and looked like a complete idiot. We had even already compared the writing to the notepad she had gave him to use when he walked the property to do the signs and check balconies. Because chamberlain and associates refuses to handle the matter or even get back to me I will be reporting him and the company to the city for abusing his position and for harassment of a resident where he works. I am also in contact with a few media outlets to see about letting others know what they face with these big companies who don't care about our safety or well being and let their family members do as they please. It's pretty disgusting that as people we can't live peacefully in our own homes without having some man child express their feelings and disregard the fact that he's getting paid to work here. Smh. I have lived in 4 different apartment complexes in Tucson and View at Starr Pass was definitely the worst one. I had constant issues. -i signed the pre lease agreement and paid my deposit and first month rent for a 2br, only to have the leasing office tell me a week or so before move in that they made a mistake and had given me the price for a 1br. -move in day, the person working in the office was over 20 mins late despite saying they opened at 9. I had told them I would be picking up the keys as soon as they opened because the movers were meeting me at my old apartment at 10am. -they had not set up my package locker account and took days to do so, and I had to keep texting and asking them to retrieve the packages already delivered for me and to create my account -the apartment was not clean or ready for move in. There was still paper taped up in the bathroom from where they had just painted. the washer had mold and it took over 2 weeks and multiple emails/texts before it was replaced -the "amenities" aka they gym was only open Mon-Fri 9-5 when most people were at work -we were not given enough notice when the mailboxes were going to be re-keyed. My key wasn't working and when I went into the leasing office I was told that they would be re keying the mail box in the upcoming week and that we would need to pick up the new keys in the office. I reminded the manager that their office was only open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 when most people were at work. And I was told to either go in late to work or get off early. when I asked if they could do an extended hour or a Saturday because that made more sense than asking an entire complex to take time off of work, I was told no and that I would just need to come in when the office was open. Thankfully I have the flexibility with my job where I could make it work, but not everyone has that flexibility. the package lockers were unreliable. I lost track of the number of times I had to call customer support. I would be told that it was off-line and I needed to call the front office, and when I would call the front office I was told to call customer service. -the lease recommended you de claw your cat. This is unacceptable. Declawing is not just trimming the nails, it's literally an amputation. -I had to follow up so many times with the office staff when someone applied to take over my lease. They were not communicating at all. One of the times I went in to follow up, I asked to confirm the date we had put on the signed form and Erik could not find the form. the apartment flooded two days before I was going to move out, I had to repack boxes because there was was water all over my closet and bedroom floor coming from the next door neighbor's bathroom. -I had misplaced one of the mail keys and paid $25 to get a replacement for the new tenant. I waited half an hour and Erik told me maintenance was busy and they'd make it later in the day. He said he could either have them leave it in the mailbox (I had the other key) or in my apartment. I came home that night and did not have a key. They did cash my check, however. The next day I waited an hour while 3 maintenance workers tried to make the key and were unable to do so. I was told they'd just give it to the new tenant once it was made. I had to request a receipt with that in writing. A week later, they had not made the key for the new tenant and I ended up finding the misplaced one. I called and spoke to Erik and told him I had found the key and given it to the new tenant and asked for the $25. Erik said it would be mailed to my forwarding address. I had to prompt him to take down my forwarding address. When I called a week later I was told they would not be giving me the money back. They cashed a check for a service they did not provide. It took multiple hours across 2 days, and 4 people (Erik and 3 maintenance workers) to unsuccessfully make the key and then they refused to refund me when they failed to do what I paid them for. So I'm getting sprayed by mold everyday !! leaking sh*t water in my AC unit. Peeling bath tubs, painted over mold in the vents. Leaking kitchen sink and mold under every sink. half my outlets do not work. Although greystar was the one to "renovate" my unit due to C&A buying them out it's their issues now. They've done nothing to help. Absolutely unprofessionalism in the property office. I had the property manager make a FALSE police report which is a felony violation . Claiming I went into the office to yell and cuss and cause chaos when I've never stepped foot into that office. GOD is my witness. I PAY to live here why on earth would I cause CHAOS?!!! So when all this happened I reached out to corporate only for them to believe the property manager and give no consequences to "managements" actions. horrible customer service from property manager to corporate. I was told that since I'm legally allowed to withhold my payment (ARS § 33-1324) that they verbatim "will take their time to fix my issues". My unit is Uninhabitable. AVOID HIDDEN COVE OR ANY GREYSTAR OR CHAMBERLAIN & ASSOCIATES owned complex. "Allegedly" big time scammers and embezzlers so watch OUT. Very dangerous to live here. Homeless walking around w weapons and machetes. NO SECURITY ON PROPERTY although they "claim" to security patrolling. I had my unit squatted before I moved in and now that I'm in the unit upstairs my unit is being squatted. I can smell them smoking their blues and cigarettes in their unit when I have an infant and we obviously share the vents. I'm done and ready to break my lease!! read more

This company is a joke. I moved into one of their communities & when i say the manager just lies all day, & tries to get more money out of people it's crazy, I called them. Last week she claimed the dismissal fee was $263 this week it's $278. Not to mention it's super ghetto out in the community kids are always loud , the random parties blasting music all night lon, they're making us pay $1510 for like 500 square foot apartment, with a DORM room stove, if you're car's tire is even a little flat, they'll tow your vehicle , the water is off in different buildings like every other day I was trying to make a payment arrangement for my rent this month because my father died & I had to go back to Michigan to get all of his things in order it took the manager 3 days to write me back & then I had to be taken to court, the manager literally purposely make things difficult to the point of now I just want out of my lease read more

I have complained about the roaches since I moved in, but it got worse after numerous work orders and requests for action, with no SOLUTION. They hide & never directly address concerns, act outside of the law, evict tenants, who address concerns, when Chamberlain is at fault and are a HEALTH HAZARD as this property is infested with roaches and beetles. I took out a 6 month lease, have 6 open work orders and have been living with an infestation the WHOLE TIME. The response from Chamberlain & Associates I received regarding the infestation was that they would spray weekly before I moved out on 6/30/18 and would be "offered no concession, but would not take the infestation with me." Scottsdale Area Review- I do not recommend choosing to go with Chamberlin + Associates. Poor management all together. The higher you go up the chain to fix an issue, the more rude, irritable, and idiotic they become. Nobody has a clue what they're doing here and wish I would've done more research beforehand. Extremely unprofessional, clueless, and tacky. Dirty management (Property and Regional Managers are rude lazy and very unprofessional once you actually get to speak with them). Very nice quiet community tucked away from major traffic but yet close to everything. Management has always responded to any inquiries with in a very reasonable amount of time. The layout of the apartment makes it feel much larger than it is and the bedroom can fit a king size bed with room to spare. read more

I feel like my health is at a serious risk living here in this apartment complex. My lease is almost up and I've never had a problem with rodents until this last month of my lease and it's making my living situation very stressful. My apartment has been infested all month and I have been trying to contact maintenance and the leasing office for some assistance since I live alone and I am a full time student and veteran. My apartment wreaks of mice shit. I've used pinesol, ammonia, glue traps, everything you can think of. And I have physically gone into the leasing office twice since this has been occurring and they jot down on a sticky note for "pest control to come by" but I've literally been having this all month. I want to break my lease so bad but I literally only have 30 days left and I want to stick it out but I cannot come home from school every day to dead rats in my patio or in my laundry room. I live in a studio here that is $1100+ a month and I feel like like if I pay to live here, it's not my job to control pests with my own money and my own supplies. This is unsafe and no one should have to live in these conditions. This is a serious health hazard and no one is taking it seriously. read more

I fully understand that service requests are limited during Covid and I respect that we're all doing our best to protect the residents and the teams but my refrigerator went out on Friday and I submitted a work order. No response from the property. I sent an email to the home office and still haven't received a call back. All of my refrigerator food is now dead. It's hot and I have to put drinks into the freezer and wait for it to get cold enough to enjoy. I pay to have groceries delivered to me to stay out of grocery stores and I've now lost $120 in "refrigerated" food. If this was the first time this happened, I'd be more understanding but this has been going on since the day I moved into this very dirty apartment. I have outstanding service requests that I've let slide like my temp control being installed backwards, a rusted out toilet, the control knob handle set on but not screwed onto the temp control knob but no refrigerator is asking too much. read more

I live in Suncreek apartments and have been here for years, never had a problem until Chamberlin & Associates took over about a year ago. I am currently dealing with a shower/tub that I first requested maintenance on 7/29/19 and it is currently 9/6/19 and it still isn't fixed and C&A keeps trying new tactics to get me to pay for the entire repair. It started when I was taking a shower one day and noticed the bottom of the tub dipping down a bit while stepping around showering. When I got out I saw there was a crack in the tub that wasn't there before so I put in a maintenance request. Didn't hear back for a week, so I put in a 2nd request. Then someone came and said it would need to be replaced. Shortly thereafter I got a bill for $1690 with the exact reason for being charged, per the document: "Failure to promptly report issue resulting in water damage." This was ridiculous since I literally reported it the same day it arose. So, I provided photo proof of my first request, the exact day the crack appeared, as well as an email receipt confirming my maintenance request. Also, I obtained written confirmation from the office manager that there was in actuality NO water damage. The office manager said okay the charge should be removed and they will get it fixed. After that I don't hear anything for a few weeks, still isn't repaired. Then today I get an email from the office manager saying well you're still responsible for the repairs (that still haven't happened) of $1690 plus any additional charges that may arise. This time it's because the "crack is not due to normal wear and tear." Mind you, this was never mentioned in the initial charge notice. It's like their first reason didn't work so let's try something else! Keep in mind I literally only used this shower like any normal human would, I don't jump around or do exercises in the shower, I never fell in the shower, nothing. It's a fiberglass tub that has a 10-15 year lifespan and the tub already had signs of wear and tear develop within the past year with another crack on the upper side of the shower, but maintenance didn't fix it then either. It's a CRACK in the bottom of the tub we are talking here, not a hole, not a giant damage, a CRACK. So I've been a model resident here for years, no late payments, no issues, nothing and am now having to deal with this. I've done nothing wrong, I followed my lease requirements which state to report issues promptly which I did and never did anything to damage the tub. It's an old tub! I have contacted Urban 148 multiple times. I have contacted Chamberlin & Associates multiple times by email and phone. It was confirmed my email was received last week. On Friday I was told a supervisor would email or call me back. No contact. Again today I was told I would be contacted back and nothing. No one can leave a voicemail because your box is full. I have asked when I will be reimbursed for all our food going bad due to a 24 hour power outage on a 112 degree day. I have asked to be released from my lease because AZ law is it must be fixed within 5-10 days and our power has gone out 8+ times in the last month when it's been over 100 degrees every day for the last 77 days. Someone needs to respond. It has been over a week and that is absolutely ridiculous. As your voicemail says next day for responses. Avoid this place at all cost!!! I signed the lease with the previous owner, Steve, at Avalon apartments, and trouble began as soon as we moved in. The sink clogged 3 times in a matter of 1 month. A/C Unit was barely working. Steve would send someone to fix it, but the problems keep going on. Eventually, the owner sold the property to Chamberlin and Associates, or something similar. Construction above our apartment kept going for the first 4 months, they would start at 7am and stop at 4-5pm. Even on weekends. The place was extremely dusty, and cockroaches were walking everywhere. I was just going to wait for our lease to end, and just run away, until one day I woke up to my ceiling leaking water, as well as poodles of water all over kitchen, living room and closet. All my stuff was soaked. I contacted the management, and they came out with their repair crew, cut drywall in the kitchen, my bedroom, bathroom and the closet, and started replacing the plumbing. The property manager told us that the people who moved in above us disconnected the washing machine, but the workers in the apartment showed us the burst pipes and how they were clogged pretty much all the way. After the pipes were replaced, all the walls were left open, and all the drywall in the apartment was soaking wet. The repair crew never came back. Mold and mildew started developing, and even though I kept asking the property manager to do something about it and fix the damage, nothing was being done. He even came into the apartment, and said he doesn't see anything hazardous about living inside of it! Just look at the pictures of the apartment and what conditions we lived in for almost 20 days! Finally, I got fed up and told him that since it's been over the 20 days the apartment wasn't put in the previous order, we will be moving out. We found a house, and we weren't contacted once by the landlord, until our move out date. He said how they will give us another unit, if we decide to stay there. I thanked him for his efforts, but since I already found a new place to stay at, that will not work for us. They charged us the rent for the 4 remaining months on the lease, as well as cleanup and damage fees!!! We never received the itemized bill, and they sent it straight to collections! I am trying to fix this mess, but retaining a lawyer who can represent a tenant seems really hard here in Phoenix. I found one, and he is charging $360/hour to take on the case. I am so frustrated with this place, and my only option is either to pay $4k+ or to go to court and spend about the same amount of money. They've ruined my credit, and now I need to pay the money that I do not legally owe just so I'm able to rent a place somewhere else!!! read more

The worst apartment management group ever - they do not care about the residents at all. Phone calls/messages to their office as well as our onsite leasing office never get answered and they act as though helping you is an inconvenience. Greystar was far superior and was sad when they left after our complex was sold. Also, there is a very high turnover rate of employees at our leasing office and they never bother to tell the residents about any of these changes. I would not recommend renting an apartment from a complex that Chamberlin and Associates manages unless you like to be ignored and treated as a number and not as a valued resident. read more

I have been living in this complex revival on Scottsdale since June 1, 2020. The first month was OK besides the neighbors occasional loud music and the thin walls the drug deals going in and out of the units by me. Possibly a lot of section 8 at this complex. The AC is constantly going in and out you have to invest in your own portable AC unit just to make it through the summer. July 3 of 2020 I woke up to a puddle of water in my kitchen and the ceiling bubbling and cracking through. It is now August 18 of 2020 I put a work order July 3 never heard anything also talk to the leasing agent and maintenance guys on site multiple times and I'm still living with a puddle of water in my kitchen for the last two months i'm pretty sure there is mold now starting to grow as I am having more allergy like symptoms like there is mold growing also when I moved in there was mold under the sinks but I cleaned it up myself with bleach. The door lock deadbolt was broken for two weeks before they came in to fix it as I finally said it's making me late to work and it needs to be fixed I got home after they said they fixed the lock thinking the rest of the apartment would be fixed and of course to my surprise it wasn't fixed so for going on two months now I am dealing with a puddle of water from a leaking kitchen ceiling also my shower is completely disconnected from the wall the caulking is disintegrated off the shower where there is a lot of moisture sheet rock exposed to where mold is growing for sure just this place is somewhat inexpensive with the utilities being included but it is not run well the management doesn't get maintenance done. No one should go to months with a leaky roof and a puddle of water and a shower that is growing mold because it isn't caulked. Especially when you're paying over $1000 a month for a very tiny 500 ft.² studio apartment. If it doesn't get fixed by today I'm going to be calling the health department and the city of Phoenix. If you have a little extra money to spare I would suggest going to a more luxury apartment definitely not worth a bang for your buck. So far I've been doing my own maintenance and upkeep's and things to get by and tell maintenance will come and fix it this is honestly so frustrating having to deal with this also I did put a transfer in for a one bedroom but they said their policy is it Has to be a 60 day notice to transfer so they can't transfer me until October 1 I paid my $250 transfer fee but they are continuing to let me live in a unfit condition and not fixing the apartment I'm living in when I'm trying to upgrade to a one bedroom after I am paid up and all my fees are paid why don't they transfer me to a one bedroom when obviously there needs to be a lot of maintenance done on the apartment that I am in now??? My friend has been without AC in her apartment since Mother's Day and has children in her home! She contacted the emergency line twice and her home was 85 degrees at the time of contacting them. She never received any calls or follow up to the issue. She went into the office at 9:15 am to see how it can be corrected and when it would be fixed. Maintenance then went into her home several times that day and ended up with 0 resolution and an AC that still wasn't working. When she requested a portable unit she was denied and told that other apartments in complex have them as their AC is out too. She is still sitting in her home in AZ with no AC tonight and temps well over 90. She reached out to you all in hopes that you Can fix this issue. She lives in the Desert Eagle Estates on 71st Ave. She has contacted a lawyer as Well as other media outlets to get this handled. She attempted to do this with the property direct but that isn't working. Also, per the landlord tenant act of AZ at the time she would be able to take her family to a hotel and deduct that from Rent or have someone fix it up to $300 and deduct that. Chamberlin + Associates have purchased a lot of the apartment complexes in central Phoenix so consider this a renter beware if you are looking at one of their properties. Roughly a year ago my husband and our dog were attacked by 2 pit bulls. These dogs had attacked others dogs and people in the complex prior to our attack; the last one being 2 weeks before ours. The owner was given notice to remove the dogs from the property which she ignored. It was also discovered that she had allowed her renters insurance to lapse and she was given notice to obtain new insurance which she also ignored. It tooks months to get the manager to start eviction proceedings against her. I had to physically go to C+A's office because they don't return phone calls or emails from tenants. Because she didn't have renters insurance at the time of our attack my husband and I are out of pocket nearly $10,000 for medical bills. We've talked with several attorneys and no one will touch the case because the law favors management companies. They have the money and the lobbyists. We are finally moved out of the complex and own our own home, but we are aware that many are not able to purchase homes, especially in the current market. I've rented several apartments over the years, and none of the management companies are great, but Chamberlin + Associates are among the worst. Please consider looking elsewhere to rent. read more

Chamberlin & Associates just bought Serafina Apartments 2 months ago. The staff is nice and seems to work hard. But the office folks can never answer a question with definitive answers. I have mentioned twice that the gym has cobwebs by the windows and needs a cleaning. We have developed a big pigeon problem here and they keep saying they are working on it. Why can't you give me a date on when you expect bird spikes to be up and when you will clean the bird poop off my stairwell. They finally power washed the bird poop off this week, which is the 2nd time in the last 2 months. Thank you! The pool is now green and closed. We've lived her for 5 years and under the previous Mgmt Co the pool was closed 0 times. NEVER! Not sure if this happened because of Labor Day but it has been closed all week. Obviously, Chamberlin doesn't care or it would be fixed by now. They changed office hours and the website is not useful. We can't see how much our rent is and have to call every month. I live in colter park apartments. After 4 years of living here it has became a living hell this month. My vehicle is vandalized often and I have reason to believe it is someone from the paint company currently painting the buildings. I have had no problems before. Management has taken the locks off of all the gates which has been bringing in all types of people. I am also being told I have my car will be towed soon if I don't get new rims for it and we are in the middle of a pandemic when it's hard to get anything. Ever since the painters have been here they have been staring at me and my cars. I have watched them completely stop painting and talk about my cars. I've seen them near my cars looking closely. I'm pretty sure there is a chance some of them are illegal and I will be reporting to see. I understand the apartments aren't liable and I don't have any proof other than what me and some neighbors have seen but it is very possible I was put in danger by the decisions of this company. As a veteran who has served multiple tours in Afghanistan I don't even feel safe at home. read more

42 percent rent increase pure greed and nothing more. I have lived here for 5 years and always pay on time. They think just because an apartment complex is in Scottsdale (Las Aguas) they can jack up the rent. This is not "Posh Living". They do not walk the property and keep it up. They put signs up on garage doors because they were doing an audit. I finally had to remove the tape myself from several garage doors. My packages are left out unsecured. I have never received some of them. They had a blood drive and allowed the Red Cross to park in front of my garage. I missed work that day. They took over the apartment complex where I reside. We only have 3 days available for opened office hours from 9am-4pm. I can only imagine how my neighbors having to plan their week accordingly with their already busy schedules, including myself. If you are not available during these times, you'll never be able to do laundry because the office isn't open long enough to put funds on the laundry card. They also charge for parking. Which was never agreed upon when I signed my lease. Keep in mind, there is nothing special about the parking lot. It's not covered, there are no assigned spaces and I've had my catalytic converter stolen off my vehicle but I need to pay to park there. They have to make their money someway I guess. Update They are now telling all properties that you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet. Seeing how bad the crime is getting in the metro area, people do go through the trash. I feel bad for anyone who will now dig through the trash with majority of the trash will now be used toilet paper. I can see that the pipes can get clogged but to be threatened with having to pay for the bill next time, if other people do end up flushing their toilet paper down, you'll still have to pay, it doesn't seem right. We supposedly do have security and police officers that walk the property but I've never seen them, considering I come home around 9:30 pm on certain days. read more

Contacted them Wednesday February 5th regarding an issUe at the Stratford. The nasty receptionist said someone would contact me. It is now Monday February 10th. (Im in The Montana Apartments, recently bought out by Chamberlin & associates) I was in the shower when I heard, what I now know were knocks at the door. At the time I had no idea someone was actually knocking on the door because I was in the shower with really loud music playing & assumed it was just the residents above being loud, as usual. So I carried on. About maybe 5-10 minutes later I got out of the shower, I was only partially clothed with undergarments when I stepped out of my room to grab clothing out of the dryer. That is when I heard knocking again, this time I knew for sure it was at the door but my arms were full with clothes & I wasn't dressed to answer right away. I peeped out of the peep hole & only saw a man (no supplies). I was skeptical about opening the door but decided to anyway, so I rushed to put the clothes down & wrap myself in a towel when I heard my front door open, seconds later this man is in my apartment looking at me. To my full understanding at the time, maintenance was not called to repair anything because there was nothing to repair, the apartment was fine. He stated he received a work order to repair a leakage and also the vent in the laundry room. Again to my full understanding my roommate & myself had no issues of that sort so I was extremely confused at that point. I even expressed multiple times that I wasn't aware of such issues. Just to ensure, I validated with my roommate that she didn't request maintenance. I closed myself in my room, searching for clothes as this man is roaming through the apartment after I told him nothing was wrong with the apartment. I finally asked him to leave because I didn't have clothes on & he kept trying to talk to me. Completely freaked out by the situation, I called the front office to report the incident. To sum it all up, she stated my roommate gave her a paper listing everything that needed to be fixed, also giving permission to enter the premises. I asked what was requested & she stated the carpets needed to be cleaned, there was a leakage in the bathroom, & there was a broken vent in the laundry room. None of those things are an issue in my apartment so I was confused as to why and how that report was made. She repeated a note was given to her by my roommate with that problem also allowing permission to enter but she had discarded it so it was not available. I decided to check it out myself so I went to the front office to see if something could get resolved because again, my roommate stated she never gave permission to enter the apartment on a note. After saying she discarded the note authorizing the work order, Jessica stated she found it & taped it back together. First thing I noticed was the handwriting which was neither of ours. Both of us wright relatively small yet the note was written in big writing, no where near close to ours so I knew for a fact it was forged or a mistake. Another thing I noticed was on the note it stated the dining & living room area carpets needed to be cleaned. In our apartment, the only areas with carpet are the bedrooms & living room, not the dining area. I asked if the note was written by her or my roommate & she stated my roommate wrote it & the only thing she added, located at the very bottom of the note, was "W/O PTE:yes Apt 133" W/o being work order, PTE being permission to enter. Together, we compared the writing on the note to both of our handwriting on the lease & of course it didn't match, the only thing it matched was the only part in which she claimed she wrote. We asked for a simple apology for the mistake & she said "I'm not going to apologize for this" She was adamant about her made up story of her encounter with my roommate. She forged permission to enter & maintenance violated my privacy without a single apology or acknowledgement of her mistake. The continuous lies leads me to believe this violation was done on purpose no telling how many times they've done this. His entry was unlawful, per policy, a two day notice is to be given before entering. She forged a note providing permission to enter therefore it was never authorized by neither one of us. read more

They have recently taken over my apartment complex in Las Vegas. Of all the things I thought they were going to do to make our complex better, they have fallen so short of. I could write a laundry list of issues but I'm going to deal with the elephant in the room that their corporate had failed to deal with and the individuals on site here in management have also turned a blind eye to. We have been dealing with NO WATER, My unit and everyone in my building section now for the better part of a week. No shower, toilet, cooking, any of the basic necessities of life are being given to the hard working residents who pay their rent on time (and are expected to) but when the shoe is put on the other foot, they do not find the time to take care of this major emergency issue, they dip out of the office when the plumbing issue is still ongoing. Call it an Emergency water shut off but do not treat it like an emergency. If it was an emergency, stay here and deal with the various vendors and do anything necessary to get our water turned back on. Their solution now 8 days later with still no running water or hot water, is to offer a (meaning 1 singular) community shower that well over 100 residents have to schedule a time slot to take a shower around their office hours M-F 9am to 5pm and Sat&Sun 10a-4pm not really convenient for any residents who are normally at work during those times. I am so disappointed in this entire situation and also being continually left in the dark without text or email updates given by management. There are no excuses that I am willing to except with how long this issue has been going on. I called this corporate number provided on YELP & spoke with the receptionist who supposedly passed the message along to a higher up who was going to call me back, we'll it's been 5 days now and I have yet to receive a call back from this so called "higher up". Worst experience with an apartment complex. We live at 801 Turney (property formerly known as Oak Creek Apartments) and from day 1 we experienced issues that included, but not limited to: dishwasher not being plugged in nor properly installed (it fell out), thermostat broken (hence no cold A/C), refusal to fix warped windows (so the air we pay for goes out and the bugs to come in), water damage in bathroom caused by upstairs almost two months ago is still unattended, and most problematic we had to go well over 5 days without hot water (try showering multiple times in cold water and not being able to properly clean your dishes). The incompetence shown by the property manager also extends to the entire property grounds. The community laundry room is poorly kept, litter is consistently seen, trash cans will pile up for days at a time, and their "renovated" pool never seems to be clean and therefore tenants can not enjoy it during our summer days. After maintaining communication over the last few months, the property manager has seized to do her job and has decided not to have the professional courtesy to acknowledge our e-mails or letter. Her behavior has created a hostile community not only for us, but for many of our neighbors that are still waiting for the property manager to resolve their maintenance issues. For a property manager given responsibilities by Chamberlin and Associates to manager multiple properties, you would think that she would have a real estate license to increase her awareness of property management and most of all Arizona laws. I encourage Chamberlin and Associates to save their cookie cutter reply to this review and instead reach out to me directly. I have submitted a Constructive Eviction notice, but it never reached Chamberlin and Associates because their e-mail listed on their website is not functional. In addition to my review, I will provide photos that we have taken over the next few weeks to assist others in not making the mistake we did of living at 801 Turney. They never call back or answer their email, that i had to ask 5 neighbors for cause they don't have one on the portal, doesn't work. The corporate office gives you an option to leave a message but hangs up before it lets you, I've been trying to get in contact with them for 3 months now but have heard nothing back, i get texts from them but i can't reply and the property manager sent one text out with his number but never answers or returned any of my calls. I have a bunch of questions about my lease and other property questions that none of the maintenance guys can answer nor should they because it's not there job, so if anyone that works there sees this, maybe it's the only way to get in contact with them. I'm at park royal apartments and would like to speak to someone by the end of the week. read more
