I love the Starbucks is inside also . I love how Barnes & Noble has a kids program and that they can get a free treat at Starbucks. We also take part in the summer reading program where they get a free book if they read 10 books. I know the Barnes & Noble is going to have a really awesome selection and I love how they've been keeping a great stock of sprayed edge books , which are my friends favorite so it's my favorite to give her for holidays. I feel like they have their books group really well so that it is very easy to know where to go for what you need . Their game section is thoughtfully curated. I love to read the notes from employees about their favorite books. I know this is a chain, but sometimes when I'm having a bad day, I go in just because it feels like Home . I will say that their bathroom is pretty disgusting unfortunately. Most of the employees have been very kind and helpful, but there will be the occasional employee that huffs and puffs when you ask for help. Honestly, I just really love that I can go get two of my favorite things in the same building . It's also really close to the hospital so when my husband has procedures, I pop in and browse the books while I'm waiting. Thank you, Barnes & Noble for being such a happy place !

I love that independent bookstores are "coming back"…read more I love books - especially physical books with real pages. I love checking books out from the library. I love buying brand new books. I love buying used books. I love everything about books. I actually came here while running errands with someone else. I don't think I would have ever known this was here otherwise. I wandered around the store while the person I was with was taking care of whatever it is we came in there for. It was such an immersive experience. I appreciate how the store is laid out. There is/was so much thought put into not just the layout of where sections should be, but where each book goes. It is so well curated. I got so many incredible recommendations from the employee picks that I have loved, shared with others, and they have loved too. It's been a month or so since my last visit, so I'm excited to see what the latest recommendations are. If you're a book nerd, this is absolutely worth a visit. I will absolutely be back.

The hearty selection of books and periodicals, the rewards program, the massive lineup of puzzles and other items like journals, stationary, board games, stickers, home goods like candles and drink ware, tote bags, and more. Looking for a gift for a book nerd? Look no further than their shelf of carefully curated wares like "Book lover" candles, home library bookends, literary charades card games, etc. It's all here and better than ever. But what's been particularly exciting to watch unfold is their recent expansion next door. While it was sad to see the former tenant (a Thai restaurant) go, it was great to see Schuler's take over the space and convert it into a dedicated children's area. Here you'll find an expanded selection of kid's books (from toddler to YA), toys, educational games, etc, all in a kid friendly environment filled with bean bags and other cozy places for kids to park and read or play. In the former kid's section at the back of the store is now an expanded used book section, which is a great place to browse if you're looking for discounted pricing or want to give an old book a new home! They also host regularly programming like author readings, book signings, story-time for the kids, etc. During my most recent visit I happened upon them setting one of those up near the cozy fireplace in the back and I made a mental note to check the schedule so I could come back for a gathering. I'm so grateful that we have this little slice of literary heaven on the west side and I'm so grateful for all they bring to our community!

Everything is well organized despite the maze and seeming disarray. They have 25c books outside and the prices inside are also great. Helpful staff and tons of parking! Right next door to the comic shop, in case you want a book store two-fer! Then hop across the street for some Shivers! There's your afternoon sorted.

Trying to keep brick and mortar stores open, I recently placed an order for 30 copies of a…read morebestseller for my company, to be shipped to executives across the country. I was told it would be just 2-3 days, to get them so I placed the order since I was going to ship them overnight. It's now going on SIX days later with no return call from Toledo's Barnes & Noble, as promised. I just tried calling the store, and after about 15 rings someone finally picked up and couldn't find my order, so she said she would ask her manager to "try" to give me a call back today. (It's 11a and the store doesn't close until 9p.) Next time, I'll order the book for $2 less per copy through Amazon Prime AND have it delivered to my doorstep the next day. #FasterCheaperBetter

I have been searching for The Perfect sleep chair for two years. A friend took me to Rettig's yesterday. The recliner they had on the display floor was beyond my expectations! It has more features and benefits than Any other chairs I have seen. The service, selection and value were great. Dalton, the salesman did an excellent job of demonstrating and answering my questions. Kudos, Dalton! Mr. Tony Rettig, owner, came out of his office to shake hands. Here's what he gave me. 1.
