It's a nice and good size indoor playground for Kids I'd say age range from 1 to 6 yrs old about. It is located inside of the Windward mall on the 1st floor near Ross dress for less and Fun factory. Regards to Socks - Customers can bring in their own socks or also if you don't you can purchase from Keiki Republic. Admission for Keiki Republic - Kids are $15/$16 approx for one hour and one parent is free with one paying child and additional parent would be $5.00 (hope this info in helpful) Parking - Don't have too work about parking lots of ample parking at windward mall and it's free parking as well so you don't have to stress about parking. Lockers - They have lockers as well for customers to place your belongings etc. Restroom - They have their own private restroom inside of Keiki republic and it's co-ed. I went to Keiki Republic in Kahala with my daughter, SIL, and granddaughter to check things out…read more It's a large open space with tons of activities, toys, mazes, and things to keep the little one occupied and expending energy. You can pay by the hour for each session, or get a monthly pass that allows unlimited time each month. They do ask everyone to sign an electronic waiver, so bring your smartphone to make things easier. You also need to wear socks in the play area, to prevent damage to the padded surfaces. I would recommend getting some grippy socks, because some of the play surfaces are fairly slick when wearing regular socks, and it's like walking on ice. Everything is pretty safe for all ages of children, as parents and caregivers are all watching over their own flock. They do have a staff person that also monitors the area and cleans and wipes down surfaces periodically. The main thing to watch out for (as with most toddler play areas) is when older kids are playing in the same area as smaller ones. It's a pretty big space overall, so it really wasn't an issue while we were there, but it's still something to keep in mind. There is a lot to do and my granddaughter definitely had her favorites, such as the merry-go-round, the climbing area, and (for some reason) the zip line ride. She avoided the ball pit for some reason, but maybe she'll grow into it as she gets older. We spent a couple of hours there and it definitely wore her out, and all of us as well. It's a great place to spend for any family with little ones, and I know we'll be back.

Long Story Short: Go, but only if you have military ID…read more Parents! If any of you hunting for an awesome gem playground amongst Hawaii's unusually monotonous offerings of playgrounds, you will be no doubt read the 5-Star reviews and start heading there straight away with kid in car seat. Well, is it Shangri-La? or a mirage? Simply put: If you do not have a military pass--it is indeed inaccessible to you. Do not try. As I did. You and your kid will end up having to retreat to Keehi Lagoon Beach Park and lick your wounds at the solid/adequate playground there. Yea, we did try to drive to Sand Park. And no amount of cuteness from our 2 year old could deter the rifle wielding guards from accessing their private playground! A foreign national would have had a lot easier time sneaking onto Mar-a-Lago while a president golfed there. The base guard, smartly, held on to my ID as we navigated the turn around to leave--and only gave my Civilian ID back to me once I was pointed in the right direction--back towards Nimitz underpass, where i had come from. I've heard from others this place is awesome. But be sure to go with one of our hard working military friends if you actually want to arrive there. :) And also, it may be an observation, but perhaps most of the playgrounds in Hawaii seem to be one of two pre-set versions of a playground. As if we got a bulk discount for buying Playground A, B, and nothing more. Perhaps the military bases had a different contractor--thus why they may have something new/different compared to the normal parks?

We've…read morebeen here twice with our 6 kids and it's always been younger children playing which is a relief from the other location which allows older children and teens to participate on the second floor to which they do not always stay. The parking is good. It's fenced in which may seem suspicious but I'm sure it's an attempt to protect its customers and the business. This location had everything operating during our visit. The staff is very helpful and accommodating and the business is very clean. It's remarkably tidy in fact! Kudos to the staff. My kids enjoyed the slides the most. There is a lot for kids and toddlers to do here. There is one slide that I was concerned about where it's seemingly a straight drop but it's not but still my heart skips a beat when I think of a smaller child attempting to slide down it. So be warned. We visit during off hours where we nearly get the place to ourselves! And for anyone wondering, they do offer military discount! I would highly recommend this Keiki Kingdom Location above all.

As a parent, I have mixed feelings about Keiki Kingdom. On one hand, the layout is fantastic. You…read morecan tell someone spent a lot of time thinking through how the space flows. Everything feels connected, there's plenty for kids of different ages to do and my kids had an absolute blast. I also appreciate that the parking lot is gated. Given the area, that extra layer of security makes arriving with young children feel much more comfortable. But once you stop looking at the design and start looking at the details, the experience begins to fall apart. Cleanliness needs work. The tunnels had an unpleasant odor, parts of the facility smelled musty, the bathrooms felt sticky and the locker area was warm with little ventilation. The air conditioning also seemed inadequate. On a busy afternoon the building became uncomfortably warm and several vents looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Maintenance is another issue. Too many attractions were out of service during our visit. The popcorn machine wasn't working, one of the slides was closed, part of the climbing area was unavailable, the TV displays were damaged and several machines throughout the building were either broken or empty. When you're paying premium admission for a family, it's disappointing to find so much of the facility unavailable. The front desk also left a poor first impression. We were required to purchase Keiki Kingdom socks even though we already had socks from another indoor playground. I understand having policies, but when you're asking families to spend more money before they even walk in, it would be nice to mention that several attractions are currently unavailable. That feels like the fair thing to do. I also wish there were more staff actively walking the play areas. Not to babysit children, but simply to help keep the space clean, notice maintenance issues and step in when kids are playing unsafely. That visible presence would make a big difference. The frustrating part is that all of these issues are fixable. The foundation is excellent. The design is better than most indoor playgrounds I've visited and my kids genuinely loved their time there. But a great concept deserves better upkeep, better maintenance, and more attention to the customer experience. We'll probably be back because the kids had fun. I just hope next time the facility lives up to the quality of its design.

I left feeling pretty disappointed. The biggest issue isn't the equipment it's the operation. You're paying premium prices, you're required to buy Kid City socks even if you already have perfectly good grippy socks and yet the experience doesn't feel premium. If you're going to enforce those kinds of rules, I'd expect the facility to be cleaner, cooler, and better supervised. The layout also feels disconnected. Unlike Keiki Kingdom, where everything flows together naturally, Kid City feels like a collection of separate rooms rather than one cohesive play space. There are plenty of fun attractions. My kids enjoyed themselves and there are definitely more individual activities here. But what stood out just as much was the number of employees who seemed to be standing around while the things that actually mattered weren't getting enough attention. The bathrooms were sticky, some areas could have used more frequent cleaning and the ball pit was frustrating. Bigger kids were constantly pushing through toddlers, including my two and four year old and there wasn't much staff presence to keep things safe or redirect rough play. I found myself stepping in far more than I expected. None of these issues are difficult to fix. A little more attention to cleanliness, better supervision where kids naturally mix and friendlier service would completely change the experience. My kids still had fun and that's ultimately why we came. But as the parent paying for it, I expected more. Right now it feels like a two star experience with the potential to be much better.
