I wish I could give them zero stars. Two years ago I had a great experience using this place but this last month my boyfriend brought his car there and it took them over four weeks to fix the car. They were impossible to get a hold of and very rude when we did get a hold of them. Just picked the car up today and the entire inside of the car is trashed. There is white dust everywhere, air fresheners are gone and when we told them they said "they aren't a detail shop". Never going back again. read more

Here are a few things I've learned from using Chalfont Collision Center's automobile services over the past few years. When I go to the airports, I always utilize their vehicle service. They are nice and always on time. Although I attempted to arrange for a pick-up from the airport, things didn't go as planned or easily. So I've just determined that taking a cab or an Uber from the airport is the best option. But whenever I head to the airport, I'm lucky! To schedule, simply make a call ahead of time. I often make a call the day or the night before. Not necessarily that far in advance. Because they are trustworthy and amiable, I give them a five-star rating overall. First impressions are generally a big deal. I was promised my new front bumper, back bumper, and grille would be installed in one day. I even brought the new parts over early because I was told they would look at them first to make sure install day goes smoothly. Monday, June 12th was the date my truck was supposed to be started and finished. Upon stopping by at the end of the day yesterday (Monday), because I received no phone call, I was informed things are going smoothly, but they will need an extra day. I've always been an honest, fair, and good guy, but I made it a point that I needed the truck back for work Tuesday no matter what, and John told me "you got it". That being said, john got me a rental right away so I would still be able to do some work. But the truck was a small Nissan Frontier, so didn't enable me to load a yard of river rock to do the job I had scheduled. I ended up losing a customer and money me and my family needed. Communication would have helped from Chalfont Collision. Fast forward to today, Tuesday, the 13th; I pulled up and my truck still had all of the original bumpers and grille on the truck at 1:38 pm and I'm told the tech had a family emergency, so had to leave. While I am understanding, that has nothing to do with me. Another tech should be working on the truck that I was promised would be done Monday, a day earlier. And for starters there is no way it took all of Monday to figure out the new parts. That makes absolutely no sense at all, when again I was "promised" they'd look at the parts ahead of time. Again, there was no communication at all from Chalfont Collision. Most people know me in this town as a fair, hard working, patient, good person, but this first impression couldn't be much worse. All Chalfont Collision needed to do was communicate with me, the customer, what was happening. After speaking with other local mechanics, there is no way my truck was even started on Monday. Maybe the new bumpers were pieced together and set for install, but other than that, nothing was done to the truck at all. So today John said he'd give me a call in a couple hours to keep me updated on the job. It's basically been two full days and nothing is done on my truck, which I needed back Tuesday morning. Communication... While most of the reviews I read on Chalfont Collision are good, I am completely blown away by the lack of communication from this company. While I understand "life happens" and my heart goes out to whoever the tech is that had to leave, I also understand good and fair business, and this has been anything but that. They have other techs. It is almost 2p.m. and my truck has literally no work done at all and has been sitting there since Sunday evening. It doesn't matter how backed up a company is or how busy you are You should always take time to communicate so your customers are not left in the dark, or worse, losing money on their own business, because you didn't communicate properly about what was really going on. As a customer who spent decades working with Doug Gordon at the old HIll-top Service station, I was very lucky due to Doug's consistent workmanship/communication. I am hoping, if the job ever gets finished, Chalfont Collision's workmanship is better than their communication, which has been completely nonexistent. read more

My car was rear ended requiring an entire new bumper. little did I know, this repair was going to come with repair plus so much more!! They cleaned my car, washed it, and returned it in pristine condition. It smelled fresh, was detailed inside and clean outside. JT and John were so accommodating, they updated me throughout the duration of my car repair, and were flexible with picking up my vehicle, as I work lengthy shifts. Called to have my car repaired here since it was the closest to my house. I was told someone would call me to schedule the work once the parts were in. After waiting several days for a callback I called and amazingly the parts arrived that day and I was going to be called later that day. The repair was completed on time and I came to pick up my car left. Upon returning home I noticed multiple personal items missing. Had to change my review for this place. They schedule things too tightly without time to do it right. The owners a nice guy but he needs to pay more attention to employees and what their doing. I had my mirrors shaking while driving because the gaskets were lost. A part that can't be bought only comes with new mirrors $150. Only painted front side of door handles and grill guard. Backside is primer color Had my jeep 2+ months too for a small job. Apparently their painter was out of work for a while. It was a nussiance to me and the job wasn't even done right. I wound up buying automotive paint myself and sanding all their work down In My own garage at home and repainting things properly. And clear coating them completely. Half assed work! I don't care if you discounted my job I would have paid more to have it done right. You need to take more pride in your business or turn down jobs you think are too complicated for you employees level of knowledge. read more

Chalfont Collision is a great place for having your vehicle fully restored to the way it was before it was in a crash. They take care of everything so you don't have to worry or get in the middle. John is the owner....and he and his crew are true professionals. When my car was hit by a "hit and run" driver......they started the job just hours after the accident. As they got into the work....they found more damage which they cleared with the insurance company. When I went to pick the car up....it "sparkled" ....even for an eight year old car. Tires and wheels even cleaned so they looked brand new. The inside was immaculate...even thought this had nothing to do with the accident. The area of the car in the accident was perfect. Like showroom new. John helped me out and made what is an unpleasant experience ( getting rammed by a drunk)....one that had the least pain possible....and I was rewarded with the results and skilled workmanship from his team of professionals...all craftsmen who take pride in their skills and trade. I highly recommend that when the day comes that your car needs help.......you can place your vehicle into the competent hands of John and his crew with total confidence in knowing you'll be happy with the end result. The owner John Reis was very responsive from the first phone call - he came out and looked over the vehicles and sent a tow truck out to pick them up. My insurance company did not want to give me new parts (even thought the car was 3 weeks old), John went to bat for me and got the insurance company to agree on new parts. John kept me up to date on everything that was going on so i felt very connected. The car came back 100% - looks and drives exactly as new.
