While I was waiting for my car, a family came in to get realignment work done. Jays was honest about the shop's equipment being unable to accommodate their vehicle but was very helpful in helping them find a shop that would be able to help that family. My oil change went quick, easy, and painless. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I'm 70 years old and this might be the best shop I have ever encountered. Always very professional…read moreservice and they will NEVER try and hook you for unneeded repairs. I've been in El Paso for three years now, and I will NOT take my 2001 Chevy Silverado or my 2010 Chevy HHR ANYWHERE else (other than just an oil change). My latest experience was on 5/1/25. I tried to replace the power window motor on my Silverado by myself. Big mistake. Once I got the door apart I realized that it was a MUCH more complex job than I expected. I talked to Rick on the phone and he said, "we'll use your part and complete it for you." They did, and I was shocked when I got the bill: $95!! I was expecting at least $300 labor to complete this job. IF YOU WANT HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE, don't look further. Jay's Automotive on Alameda in El Paso will treat you right.

Gave me and my son a ride to our hotel and it was only a short hour and a half or so later that I received a call about my car. They told me it was something that would be taken care of at the dealership so I needed to tow my car to the dealership and they didn't charge me the diagnostics fee. They also sent a "digital inspection" which showed all the areas they checked of the car, gave a little information and/or a photo - very nice touch. Anyone in this area needing a mechanic would be in good hands here.

First off, their receptionist is the type of person who loves to irritate you with stupid…read morequestions. Either that, or I am giving her too much credit because she's actually just stupid. She invites possible customers over and does not schedule them or let anyone know to expect you after she assures you that she will. For having scriptures printed on their receipts, they are the most dishonest mechanics I have ever dealt with. I took my vehicle for a simple alignment. They charged me over $120. I get a call saying that the camber will be an additional 250+. I declined and told them to align it without the additional cost. They went out of their way to adjust the camber to an extreme degree. So much so that the front end was vibrating on the freeway after 60mph. You could actually see that the bottoms of the wheels were tucked inward about 2 inches. It has never been that way. The wheels were not straight at all. Instead of doing it right they sabotaged it to an extreme degree thinking I would come back and pay the ridiculous prices for a simple $89 alignment which should already include Camber, Caster, and Toe. Careful, they will sabotage your car if you don't agree to pay their outrageous prices. DISHONEST. Using bible scriptures on their quotes/receipts to try and convince you of their honesty. TRASH. I will tell EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY AWAY. You have been warned.
