Placed order and received confirmation at I am for a delivered order at 2pm in the afternoon. Delivery window 1:30-2:30. At 3:15, no pizza. Called. Gal on phone was incoherent, had to repeat every thing i said including order number, times, my name. Put on hold several times. Then says she has to get the manager. Wait for manager, says his name and "how can he help me". I think by now it is obvious, to get me my pizza? SO they have all the delivery information incorrect even though I have an email from the order that is correct. Best they could do is another hour. They blew it all together. $50 for a three hour late pizza that was ordered 13 hours in advance, and confirmed. I asked for a credit to my credit card, but then they couldn't send me a copy of that credit. I guess this is how it goes there now. read more

Do not go here if you have limited time. I have been to this place numerous times because I used to live right down the street. Each time the service was incredibly slow. They appear to have just one person working the bar, waiting tables and answering the phone each time I've been here. In my opinion, they should train the kitchen staff to answer the phone and take pizza orders. One waitress isn't enough to run the whole front of house operation. I happen to love this hole in the wall place. Close to campus as its right on the hill. I recommend the Panther Pizza absolutely delicious. I do not recommend anything but the pizza though. Breadsticks are dry and though I have not tried there other items my friends have when we've gone and they said it wasn't good. They do not deliver but you can do carryout which I highly recommend instead of eating there unless you have endless time. Decided to go because it was voted the Best of the Best 2021. Pizza was decent. A little too greasy for our liking but that was probably because we ordered the Spenceroni which has extra pepperoni. The crust was good. On the thinner side with a nice crunch to it. The downfall was in the cleanliness of the place. Not very clean. Floor tiles were coming up, they used metal folding chairs at the few tables they have and they were in sad shape. Our waitress was pleasant but had shorts on so short that her butt cheeks were completely exposed. Not very professional but being by the college maybe it is allowed. May have just found my new favorite place! Located around the corner from copy works on college hill. Their menu boasts a wide variety of items from appetizers, pizza, sandwiches, chicken and so much more. We got the garbage basket appetizer which was full of a variety of fried cheeses, pickles, mushrooms, onion rings and mini tacos. My kids loved it. We got a small chads special and medium pepperoni the pizza crust is thin and crazy and it's loaded with a thick layer of delicious cheese. I think we'll try the buffet next time. It had pizza, soup and chicken on it. Several customers were getting to go pizza orders. It wasn't very busy but UNI is out on break so it was a great time to go bi bet parking is crazy when schools in. The service was great tonight. The gal who waited on us was very polite and friendly. Sweet atmosphere. It has a nice college town locals combo vibe. The pizza menu is huge and often very strange (they have a thanksgiving pizza...). We had a Funk pizza (I think that's what it was called... close enough!) and it was great. Out of the ordinary combos on a pizza, perfectly cooked, just enough grease to be good pizza, not too much to make me feel gross. Ordered pizza. It was OK-ish. Soggy and greasy. Service was terrible, even though it wasn't busy. I had to go to the bar to get a drink, and had to ask for another each time my glass was low. Don't know why it is called a pizzeria and "restaurant" if the one employee managing the floor fails to move out from being the bar. She seemed much more concerned with her friends that were sitting at the bar than the rest of the customers Pizza took about 50 mins to complete, which was ridiculous for the crowd there, and the lack of carry-out/take-out. Thing that topped it off though... IT STINKS. The place smelled like wet dirty rags that had sat out too long...kinda like moldy wet basement. I love this place. This is my favorite pizza place in town. I don't go to their place on the Hill often but I order their pizza probably bi-weekly (I order too much pizza). They also are one of the few pizza places that will deliver up to Industrial Park so we order them for work things too :) I've had most pizzas on their menu and have loved all of them but my favorite is the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza. I love their pizza so much that I don't order their other food enough. They also have the honor of selling my favorite hamburger in town - their breakfast burger. I just can never order my favorite hamburger when my favorite pizza is on offer. What I like most about these guys is that they deliver everything on their menu. Love the pizza! When I want my "favorite pizza in town", this is my go-to. My only complaints are that it can be a bit pricey and the staff isn't overly professional. We have eaten at every pizza place in Cedar Falls. This is the only one that gets 5 stars. We love their fish. Big pieces of cod, not too greasy, and loads of fries. The pizza is tops with plenty of cheese. Not wild about the restaurant experience. They seem to skimp on server staff that have to do lots of duties. Nice people, just very busy. No offense but the owners along with the staff act like they're better than a lot of people or that they don't need the money that has been given from non important people left and right to make their business what it is . Chad's has the ability to order online, but the annoying thing is you have to download their crappy app in order to do this. I want to begin by saying we usually love their pizza. Last night was a horrible experience. Started with a dirty table that we had to request be wiped down. We ordered beverages but were told that they had no straws. With our current pandemic I personally feel safer with a straw. Our server was kind and trying but had way too much on his plate. We had a tap on it coupon for free dessert cinnamon bites that we ordered with our pizza. He brought them out first!! And they were basically raw dough with cinnamon. One fork stuck into them that we shared. We had no napkins or forks. Waited for our pizza for almost an hour. Had to ask for forks and plates. Never got our drink refills or the condiments we requested. It was such a ridiculous experience that it almost became laughable. Other people were going into the kitchen for their own supplies. Then when it came time to pay our bill was incorrect. After an hour and a half we finally got to get out of there. Again our waiter was nice but couldn't think ahead at all. As is a recurring theme here in Iowa, pizzerias are unable to understand that it is the crust that truly makes a pizza special, not the toppings (which were decent in this case).
