Unprofessional surprise billing over a year later, plus more demands just a month after cleanings - avoid Dr. Latinos' office at all costs! I paid this office thousands out of pocket over a year ago for front crowns, based on their quoted treatment plan. I swiped my card and paid exactly what they said was due at the time, trusting they'd handled everything correctly with Delta Dental. Over a year later, they suddenly demand another $300-$400+ as a "past due" balance. They now claim the office is out of network (news to me after the fact) and apparently the crowns weren't covered because they weren't deemed "medically necessary." And now, just a month after my wife and I had our routine cleanings, they're once again claiming they need more money from us, saying insurance didn't cover the full fees and we're on the hook for the difference. This dentist office seems to be unable to confirm and/or quote insurance coverage properly, leading to repeated surprise billing long after services are completed. At the cleaning appointment, I did agree to a $100/month payment plan in the moment--but only because I was in a rush, late for a work meeting, and not thinking clearly. That's on me for not asking more questions right then and assuming the payments were being processed smoothly since I provided my card info. It never crossed my mind that anything was wrong until today, when they abruptly told me they were holding all future appointments and care hostage until these disputed funds were paid. That's when I started questioning everything and asked for invoices clearly showing and explaining why extra payment was even needed. Instead of sending the simple documentation I requested, I got a lengthy, argumentative, defensive wall of text lecturing me about miscommunication, defending their "courtesy" payment plans, stating they are not a financial institution and don't have to help customers, blaming me, and telling me to find another dentist if I think they're unprofessional. (which I am already doing) This is terrible customer service. Zero accountability for how they handled insurance or claims, no simple documentation when requested, and repeatedly hitting patients with surprise bills (over a year for crowns, and now again just a month after cleanings). Holding future appointments and care hostage over a disputed amount from over a year ago is unacceptable. If coverage issues or out-of-network problems exist, that's something to resolve upfront or explain properly--not spring on patients with attitude after the fact. I trusted them with major cosmetic/restorative work and routine care, and now I feel nickel-and-dimed with no transparency. Honest dentists communicate costs clearly, verify insurance accurately beforehand, provide records on request, and don't get combative when questioned. Save yourself the frustration and repeated billing surprises--choose a different provider for straightforward, professional care. Would give 0 stars if possible! read more

Dr. Latino told me my tooth was cracked and needed to be pulled. He charged me over $300.00. He pulled the tooth and could not show me the crack. He then said it had abcessed. However, he did not put me on antibiotics and he immediately started trying to sell a$3500 implant. He did the same with my daughter and my husband. A visit to another dentist found no issues with mine or my hubby's tooth. Dr. Latino then charged my insurance company $300 for him pulling the tooth. I went to Dr Latino, two years ago and paid almost 1500 for some work to be done, thought everything was fine. Got a referral to our local dentist and went to get an estimate for the last of the work, I was quoted 1200 by Latinos office but only 211 by my local dentist who informed me the work that was supposed to be done was not and would have to be redone before dentures could be put in. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before using Mr Latino . I feel he over charged for his work and did an incomplete job. read more

I just have to say, my experience with Dr. Latino's office was the best experience I have ever had with a dentist. Dr. Latino's staff was very kind and caring. I was in for a new patient exam and cleaning. Needed a last-minute appointment; called Tuesday, had appointment for Thursday. Denise was my tech and she was FANTASTIC. Very gentle and thorough! Everything about the office is top notch, from the hardwood floors to the decor, to comfortable exam chairs (I almost fell asleep!) and the fact they will play whatever you want on PANDORA! The office and staff make you feel at home. Will definitely be going back! read more

Not a very pleasant experience. Was not in any sort of pain upon arrival. Paid agreed amount in full before procedure. Had to go back and have procedure done a second time due to pain/discomfort. Received a bill for several hundred dollars months later. read more

The staff was very friendly! I chipped my tooth and they were able to get me in within a few days. Dr. Latino consistently checked in with me to check on any pain, which I'm happy to say there wasn't any! I'm very picky when it comes to the medical field and I was very happy. read more

Dr. Latino is an amazing dentist!!! I had to find a last minute dentist in July to take care of a abcess tooth and knew he was recommended. He welcomed me with open arms and even discussed plans to save my other teeth that had issues due to my regulatory medicine. :-( Well today I had to return in an emergency again to have another root canal and Dr. Latino personally called me to check on my pain and advise me if I had ANY other issues to let the office know. You dont get that compassion these days. I truly have found my dentist for life. Dr. Latino was very rude and seemed to be in a hurry. He did not introduce himself or take the time to learn my name. He failed to tell me about further work that I would need in the future because he was in such a hurry. I received 2 fillings on the same day as my check up, and Dr. Latino continued with the procedure even after I expressed to him that I was in pain. Maybe it was because I don't have high quality insurance, but he would not even refer me to a dentist who accepted my insurance. I will not be going back. read more
