The children play area is quite small, only consisting of a climbing structure and swing set. The park has a few picnic tables, but no shaded structures or BBQ's. It also has a large parking lot, restroom, 3 softball diamonds and 4 Soccer field (Seasonal). With the main emphasis of this park being softball and soccer, I would consider this to be more of a sports complex rather than a park. The softball area is well maintained and offers bench seating for spectators ! I would not make a special trip to visit this park . But if you happen to be in the area, just remember there are only a few shade trees here. So make sure you bring your sun screen, an umbrella for shade and plenty of water !

Actual bathrooms with locks and a mirror like slab on the wall, just clear enough to see if you have lettuce stuck in your teeth. My hubby referees for the Sacramento Youth Football (SYF) during the season and our first game took us to the city of Galt. The game between the junior teams, Liberty Ranch Hawks and Christian Brothers Falcons, were held in the football field of this park. The park is very clean and well kept. The grass is artificial turf and they have a sign placed on rules that are not allowed on the turf: No food of any kind No drinks (except water) No gum or candy No smoking No sunflower seeds No dogs or pets No sharp objects (lawn chairs tent stakes, spikes, or poles that may penetrate) Adjacent to the football field is another area of the park where there's a soccer field and a couple children's playground equipment structures (one for small children and the other for older kids). There's also a picnic area as I saw a couple of BBQ pits. For the most part we were only at the football field but the park is very well maintained with a restroom facility and spacious parking lot. The playground equipment is well maintained and the park is clean. The spinning equipment and zip-line work smoothly. The playground has a dinosaur theme with pre-historic looking fossils and dino footprints embedded in the concrete. We had a good time. This park has soccer, football, baseball, softball, and field hockey! Who knew?!?! It also has tennis courts. It's a forty six acre park!! It also has picnic tables and playgrounds. It has paved walkways for our walks. There's trees that give you a little relief from the sun. There's bathrooms here as well. I have not used it since I live not far from here. Amply parking! It also has a concession building selling snacks and drinks during a league games. It's also a well lit park during the evening games!

When I went, only 1 out of the 3 soaps were filled and just a heads up, there's no paper towels. The snack bar opened up later in the afternoon by the softball fields when I attended. We were able to set up a nice picnic under shade near the soccer field. Overall, I highly recommend this park. I didn't even get to explore all of it and I cannot wait to come back to do so.

I will say that when we pull dad to reserve our spot there are a few homeless people that called this area their home but they did not bother anyone during the duration of the park being utilized. Was definitely well visited by many families and their kids this past weekend. They do not have a common area grill so you would need to bring your own. There are public restrooms for the most part was semi-clean. Overall the appearance of the park was well-kept.
