Every step of the way it was a 5 star experience that far exceeded any expectations. The entire crew was super attentive and lovely. The Captain greeted us on and off the charter, made the delicious clam chowder that morning, and was very helpful and accommodating while booking things. We were lucky to have the entire boat to ourselves minus two other sets of people. Not sure if we were lucky with the minimal people but got table service, blankets to keep us warm, and genuine smiles. Looking forward to my next cruise with them. read more

The chef prepared wonderful multi-course meals and a brilliant appetizer charcuterie spread for my parents' 50th anniversary. We got to enjoy what was basically a huge reunion while coasting through Morro Bay and basking in the sunset and cool ocean breezes. A friendly staff and well-organized crew. Thank you. Outstanding adventure on the Chablis! It started when I called to make our reservation. The woman, Patty, was so friendly and knowledgeable. We received a confirmation and also a reminder the day before via email. The embankment was very organized and informative. When we found the perfect seats, we were asked by the most friendly staff if we wanted bottomless mimosas or a drink from the bar. My husband enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and I had a delicious lemon drop martini. The selection of food items were perfectly prepared. There was meat, vegetarian, gluten-free, fish, salads, fresh fruit, and waffles to order. The staff was absolutely amazing, coming by to see if u needed anything throughout the cruise. Honestly, we were so pleasantly surprised with everything about the brunch cruise. Excellent, job everyone. read more

The family that runs this ship will always have a special place in my heart because they saved my wedding. We got engaged just before the pandemic hit and had planned a large wedding in Southern California, which was canceled within weeks of the pandemic starting and the venue refused to give us our money back. So we planned a second wedding in Morro Bay that was much smaller (at that time only groups of 20 or less could gather) and for family only. FOUR days before the second wedding was the occur the state shut down indoor dining and our second wedding plan was canceled because we had no venue. If you have been to Morro Bay you know the options for outdoor dining are limited and that was our only option at that point. We called the good folks who run the Chablis and they put together a small wedding in THREE days! It was an insane request and they did it with gusto. They could have said no it wasn't enough time or charged us an excessive surcharge, but they didn't. They were true to their prices and they went above-and-beyond to make our wedding beautiful during strange and challenging times. Our wedding was lovely and everyone had a great time. The staff (and owner) are very helpful, friendly and really want to ensure everyone is well fed and has a great time. The boat takes a leisurely pace around the bay, so there's time to eat and also get out on the deck and see the sights. We had great weather both times. Morro Bay is one of the loveliest places with so much wildlife to be seen from mammals like otters and sea lions to birds such as white pelicans. And Chablis Cruises is a GREAT way to see these creatures without being on a paddleboard or kayak. The boat is run by a family that is the sweetest. Our guests enjoyed their Chowder Lunch, including my sibling who is a professional chef! It's a mellow ride, which doesn't leave the harbor - perfect for folks who would otherwise get sea sick. But I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! I am not a huge breakfast spread/buffet person but they had great options - even a delicious clam chowder.
