She has done highlights as well as recently did a haircut for me, and each time, it's been exactly what I wanted. The receptionists are always nice, and not your typical snooty salon receptionists either. Located in downtown Rochester, you can also find your way to other spots after or before your haircut e.g. Dessert Oasis, The Meeting House, etc. To book, you can contact them on Yelp and someone will always respond (for those who hate calling). Just ask for Rudina, and let her wow you! :)

She is based out of My Salon Suites on Rochester Road next to Party City. I love that each salon is a separate room so I felt very safe in her space and it was obvious she takes every precaution to keep her salon space clean and safe for each client. I had put off getting my hair cut for months due to the pandemic and was hesitant prior to my appointment but as soon as I saw Tricia's space and how she followed all precautionary measures to a T, I instantly felt at ease! Aside from Tricia being so talented and fun to chat with, I also love that she only uses cruelty-free, vegan products and has a low waste initiative in her salon. It is rare to find businesses that align with my personal beliefs so I was excited to find someone who does! Booking appointments is so easy! I went to her website and reserved my appointment, she reviews and confirms and you'll get a confirmation text. She also posts last minute openings and available dates on her Instagram and you can message her there as well. Easiest booking experience I've had at a salon by far! She listened to what I was looking for but I gave her creative control because I immediately felt confident I could trust her vision and expertise. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted and I felt so refreshed after my appointment! I cannot wait for my next appointment!

Stephanie Wilkins at Salon Bliss is THE BEST!…read more I had never been to this salon before, just saw that it was highly rated online and doing a good job of following COVID-19 guidelines. I came in with a rough idea of what I wanted for my wedding day look - a 1920s-style updo and natural makeup. Stephanie did a phenomenal job, gave me just what I was hoping for and was so nice and easy to work with! She was also so patient and kind to my 4-year-old niece, who came along for the experience. :) She helped me have a fun, relaxing morning - just what I needed to calm my nerves before the ceremony! I definitely recommend Salon Bliss to anyone looking for a great salon in the Rochester Hills area, but I especially recommend it for brides-to-be!

I was desperate to not look like cousin it from the Adam's family, so I got to work finding a different salon to get me where I needed to go. After some research, I found Ruby and Clover on the internet and booked an appointment with a stylist. I didn't want anything fancy, just a good old fashioned wash and a cut. I did most of it online which was rather easy. My mom tagged along since she's on a non committal world tour of every salon in a 20 mile radius. She's fussy and wants stuff to be more old school where they wait on you instead of cut your hair and shove you out the back door after you pay. So, when I say she liked it here as well, that's kind of a big deal! We got to the salon and it looks like an old house from the road. Walking in, the place is decorated so nicely and they have a little boutique in the front of the salon. They have the usual hair products, but they also have local Rochester items such as hand soap, candles, gifts, wigs and a bunch of other cool stuff for sale as well. I like that the salon supports the local community! While my wash and cut wasn't cheap ($49 plus tip) I really enjoyed my experience here. Alexis was my stylist and did a good job of taking care of me. I loved it so much that I made a second appointment to get a leave in conditioner treatment a week later! My mom also booked a quick haircut with her as well and we both had a really good time. Overall it was a wonderful experience and while it's at the top of my price range, I'd gladly come back here again.

What an adorable and great place for all your hair needs!…read more I needed a blowout and style and was happy to find Ruby and Clover. I booked online which was easy. The place is on Main Street, but a little north of the central hub of downtown, which was nice! Parking was a breeze because they have their own private parking lot. No messing with parking meters. The main entrance is their back door, which is where the parking lot is. Inside is absolutely adorable! The perfect blend of modern updates with a historic charm. The lobby featured awesome gifts, and other products to check out. Met with Olivia and she was a peach! Took the time to talk about my hair needs and wants for the appointment. Olivia made me feel comfortable since she was so friendly! She took her time to make sure my blowout and style was just perfect. I have thick hair and a lot of it, so my blow dry with style/curls was $40. There is a fee for using credit card. So cash or check are preferred.

They are located under dessert oasis coffee shop and you get to them through the back door (or you can through dessert oasis but I don't think you're supposed to go in that way). They are located at the end of the hallway down 3 or 4 stairs, they previously had a smaller shop in the same hallway but are now in a larger much nicer area at the end of the hallway. They've added two new barbers in the last year, Kevin and Seth. I had always gone to Maxwell but he recently left and started his own place a little too far away from me so I switched to Seth. I had my first haircut with him about 2 weeks ago. They used to be priced $30 a haircut, then $35 and now $38 so the prices do keep going up, but they are very good at what they do. They take all credit cards and Apple Pay/NFC contactless. They also sell their own hairstyling cream but before that they used Shiner Gold which I prefer and still use. All booking is made online, and usually they're booked at least 2-3 weeks out but because of COVID everyone is booking appointments and it will probably take you a month to get in so make an appointment ASAP. I make mine every 2 weeks for 3 months in advance. You have to pay for additional things like hair washing and beard trimming which is kind of annoying but its a business and they're allowed to charge what they want. They will line your beard up for you though - you just need to ask. Also be sure to ask they wipe all the hair off your face, sometimes they don't do it and you think you look great until you walk outside and realize you have hair everywhere and look like you just left getting a haircut and have to go home and wash your face off. I don't see myself going anywhere else though. Great work guys!

Products used, just wow. This is the first time I've allowed another person to take a pair of scissors to my hair in literally 20 years besides a teeny tiny trim. I used to have dark, shiny, luscious thick dark hair that I got compliments on everywhere I went. Then I went to a neighboring salon and asked for Carmel ombré highlights and it became a longish cinged orangish hot mess and all uneven. I had been considering a short cut for about a year having little kids and being busy, but I didn't trust anyone to cut it, and because my hair is very thick, it just looks weird. I could never get some Tswift or Jennifer Aniston looking piecey pretty bob. My stylist today at Stephen James Aveda changed that for me and gave me an awesome haircut!! Never have I had compliments on my hair so much short as I have long. My husband is in love with it. She knew exactly what I was asking and I knew I could trust her when she fixed my bad ombré and it looked perfect. I wanted it a lot lighter than if turned out, but it's so much better that I can't complain. I highly recommend this place. I didn't have to sit and tell my life story. I got to relax. The smell is amazing in there and its quiet and relaxing and sooo clean. The coffee was really good and everyone is so nice. They got me right in as a walk in too, no wait really. The stylist looked very young, not someone you'd picture as a seasoned experienced stylist, but wow, she proved me so wrong. Everyone was kind to my 7 month old baby who sat in his stroller the whole time. The shampoo bowl wasn't soo dang uncomfortable that I would dread it either. This is my new salon for good now. I tried to get an appointment next door at La Marquise, but I wasn't feeling the vibe there. They really weren't happy to have my business like Aveda. I'm going to try and head over there again tomorrow to get the products she used... I really had no idea how awesome Aveda was until now.
