Excuse me I am an adult. Nothing conversational about it. Nothing relational. She then sent me an email immediately after this unprofessional screen. What a surprise! She was nice. My resume would be forwarded and reviewed by Parker's client. That was fine. After stringing me along, she texted, left a voicemail and emailed me. I was at an appointment. I turn my phone off so I can listen to others without distraction during appointments, etc. I let her know to only call or email. Overkill. I returned her call. Quite demanding, entitled and self-serving. Jump ahead because I do not have time to write everything out. She lied to me twice. So, I decided to decline the Zoom interview with the client and I texted her since she appeared to like texting. I declined the interview and I blocked her. In a matter of seconds, she called me from another phone number and what overly nice - not authentic. Kirsten, who do you think you really are. She talked over me wanting to know why I declined and what company I planned to go to. She continued. I finally raised my voice and talked over her. I don't owe a liar anything. Why would I tell you what or where I am going? So, you can benefit from my work? I can help you. No way! An awful technique. She kept talking over me so I swore. I am not proud of it. Parker your need to build relationships, not steamroll people, who your representee reached out via text as a marketing tool. I asked Parker to remove me from your files previously when Kyle worked with you. It was disorganized. Remove me! Told I would be speaking with a Zachary, nope. I only spoke with someone named Curtis and please steer clear from him. Extremely unprofessional and needs prompt education on the field he's in. They tell you, they pay weekly, which means you should receive a check at the end of the week you worked. (Tailored to your work week, Mon-Fri or If you work Saturday/Sunday's) they actually will pay you after another week goes by and you worked another full work week. Which means you don't get paid each week, you get paid every other week. Which essentially is bi-weekly but they only pay you for 1-weeks worth of income. Yeah pretty crazy. They'll also take Washington state taxes out your check even though you work in Oregon. They also took medical insurance taxes when I have 0 insurance through them or through the actual company I work for. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Curtis unprofessional responses are definitely a sight to see . Don't worry they'll say I'm a disgruntled employee or that I can reach out to them so they can help but they won't.

Long ago in 2003 (a slump economy) I chose Law Dawgs, and they did a lot of pulling for me for temping, but I never landed anything permanent. This time around I made it a point to say I wanted full time, permanent, long term. And they interviewed me politely and I didn't hear from them at all for weeks. I contacted them periodically by e-mail to see if they'd forgotten I existed. When they finally called just once, it was to inform me of a position I'd already looked into, via my other recruiter, Shelly Langley, who was already on top of it. I had a feeling Shelly would work well for me because she'd been in the business before being a recruiter and was well connected with others in the biz about town. And in interview she just seemed .... shrewd and understanding at the same time. Prudent, I would say. Sharp. End result: I found a job that looked like a good fit - she agreed - and she connected me with the firm that hired me, AND AT MY SAME SALARY level as my former post, which was nothing short of miraculous. I think Shelly is THE BOMB. Don't waste your time with the others. You hunt down something you think you're a good fit for, and if she agrees, you can really do something!
