The staff said they were too busy to do me the fower immediately, but they told me to pay then for it, and pay the p&p charges and they would post it to me. so I payed the £8, and told them exactly what I wanted, a flower head that would go around my petrol cap. I said I would cut the inside out myself. The woman scribbled it down on a piece of paper and said I should have it in about a week. Two weeks passed and I still didnt have my flower, so I rang. The man on the phone was aplogetic and said they had totally forgot. More like lost the scrap piece of paper I think. So I described what I wanted and gave all my details again. He said he would do it immediately and put it in the post that day. Another week passed and I still didnt have my flower. So I rang again (really annoyed at this point). He promised me it was in the post. A few days later, graphics arrived, but not the graphics I wanted. I was sent two tiny flowers, neither of which fit around my petrol cap, and one even had a stem. I dont understand why I was sent 2 flowers, when I only asked for one, and neither of which where what I asked for. I gave up at this point. They are hopeless & unorganised. They dont even deserve one star!

It has a large accessory section also which I love. I love their cute little compact mirrors and tiny unmbrellas. Their underwear and pj's are also lovely and their is a much larger range in this store than the one that was in the middle of wrexham. Would recommend going to this store and visiting M&S and debenhams while you are at it!!

It's in a reasonable location in the precinct just across the way from a little cafe area which is handy for a little rest. In terms of clothing, I would say the nearby branches in Manchester and Liverpool are obviously better but the selection is fairly decent if you don't want to commute into one of those cities. The staff seemed OK, although I've experienced better in probably half a dozen other branches of Marks and Spencer, yet this branch is certainly much better than some dire stores within their network including the London borough of Islington and Rochdale in Greater Manchester. Hawkins Bazaar has a huge range of quite peculiar little gifts and toys…read more Some parts of the stock are more expensive, for example the electrical gadgets, but there is also a section that is almost like a sweet pick n mix section of cheap 29p+ toys and gadgets. There is also a book section which has some great 'random' books that always make good talking points or presents. The chester branch of hawkins bazaar doesnt seem very big, but does make good use of its space, and is very centrally located in Chester being just on the crossroads.
