CEX in Wexford is a slightly disappointing experience, not made any better by the cramped size of the store itself; only one person can look at the PC section at one time, as the display is crushed into a corner!
The store is okay, it just feels as if you can't have a leisurely browse through the various sections, as other customers frequently bash into you, and if that wasn't enough, CEX has floor staff to fill the last remaining centimetres of space.
There's a point of irritation with this store, however, as they frequently request stock from the Dublin store in Liffey Street, stock which has a better chance of actually selling in the capital, might I add. Based on their stagnant levels of stock, it's plain to see that this isn't working.
The staff members seem disinterested and distant, which is never good for any business. Be sure to check behind the counter also, as stock that can't fit on the small shelves are usually hidden away on the floor.
Like I said earlier, this store is okayish, but nothing worthy of a second visit. read more
