The tortilla (Spanish omelette) was delicious, as advertised. They had two varieties, both with potato and onion, but one that included squash (calabasa). We opted for the one with calabasa, and it was delicious. It also comes with a side of the ubiquitous, and delicious, bread with oil and tomato (pa amb tomaquet/pan con tomate).
We were the only tourists in the place, as far as I could tell, so this definitely appears to be a popular place with locals.
One word of caution for non-Catalan speakers. The entire menu board is in Catalan, and not Spanish. As much as I wish my understanding of Catalan were better, it's pretty bad, so it took a minute for us to figure everything out. Fortunately, though, the tortillas are sitting on the counter. If you know that's what you want, then no need for a menu at all.
One last word of advice for out-of-towners, is that you have to order at the counter, regardless of where you're sitting. read more
