The guy I talked to had info about different brands and different options, but the big thing was he set me up with the dealerships. I was skeptical at first, but he scheduled appointments for me and made it easy to test drive all the models I was looking at. It was pretty cool, for once I had the power, any time I felt pressure to buy, I reminded them about my schedule and I was on to my next appointment. By the end of it I knew which car I wanted. I reached out to my guy at the concierge, he connected me with the owner at the Honda dealership, and I got a great deal! This review is based on the experience my mom and I had to go through... Two weeks ago my mom dropped off her car at the dealership for service to get done and normally it takes 3 -4 hours, depends how busy it is. She was told that some needs to be replaced and they offered her a courtesy vehicle. During the time of waiting to get the car back, she is supposed to get a call back every two days or so for an update on the vehicle and there hasn't been any response. She then was trying to call the service advisor and they said they will call back with an update and yet she didn't receive a call back. So today, my mom wanted me to call in the dealership and the staffs are not just helpful and they keep hanging up and they refuse to help me and my mom to get the car back. This is our second lease with Cerritos Chrysler Jeep. We weren't particularly pleased with the first deal but the dealership was persistent in calling and emailing us for a second lease. They assured us that they would get us an amazing deal. We only had 2 months left on our current lease and were led to believe that the remaining 2 months was not an issue and that they would get us into a new lease with no early termination fees. Why else would they be so anxious to get us in with 2 months left right? We figured we would give them another chance. We made it very clear that we had extensive over-mileage on our vehicle and that we were thinking of purchasing it instead of turning it in. They insisted that it wouldn't be a problem and that they would use incentives by Jeep and repeat customer incentives to get rid of all that. We made it very clear before we went into the dealership and again while at the dealership that it was a stipulation of the deal that our over-mileage costs be wiped out or worked into the next lease. We were led to believe that this was the case all through the negotiations. Instead they did a bait and switch. Instead of getting the deal we thought we were getting we got a bill in the mail from Chrysler Financial not only for the over-mileage but for the early termination of the lease and associated fees. When we tried to remedy these issues with the sales team that worked the deal with us (Trent Hoffman, Russ Collins and Kevin Knutsen) at the dealership we were blown-off and given the run-around. On April 28th, 2024, Sales person Jose Real treated my husband and I very unprofessionally. We had another appointment and stated that at beginning of our price negotiation conversation and could not reach a deal in the allotted time. In the end we walked out. He asked us to wait 5 more minutes. My husband went to the car I returned to give him our business card to call us later with the best price. He gave me a lower price verbally right outside the dealer office and I countered with our best offer, he said they could not do that. I let him know that he could call us if that 2023 model does not sell and he wanted the price we were willing to pay, I extended my hand to shake his hand he refused me and he told me to "get out and leave then" turned his back to me and walked away. I just said to him as he was leaving this is why we will not be KIA customers. Those of you who've lived long enough in Southern California probably have seen the commercials on television (remember Ernest back in the day?) or heard the "605 at South Street, Cerritos Auto Square!" commercials. Or you may have seen the Auto Square sign while driving by or sitting in rush hour traffic. This is the biggest moneymaker in the city of Cerritos and rakes in well over a billion dollars annually. Without this and the Los Cerritos Center mall, my hometown wouldn't be able to have the high credit rating it enjoys and the nice facilities and services it provides. If I'm in the market for another car, I and many of my friends usually take advantage of the fact that we live nearby and always make it a point to check out the auto square first to get an idea for the price of a car or to actually see a model on display. I think just about everyone who can drive in Cerritos has bought a car from the Auto Square at some point in their lives. Norm Reeves Honda and Power Toyota are the biggest sellers there. The theme of the Cerritos Auto Square is a "New Orleans theme", with gazebos, bandstands, fountains and similar dealership fronts in southern-style architecture. I actually enjoying driving through Studebaker Road once in a while to see if any new dealerships have moved in or to take a quick glance at new models on display. Like the jingle says, it's strategically located at the South Street exit on Interstate 605. All the dealerships either face Studebaker Road or 183rd Street, so be sure to turn into those roads from South Street. This freeway exit is also the same exit for the Los Cerritos Center. Depending on where you're coming in from, you turn one direction to go to the Cerritos mall, and you turn the other direction to go to the Cerritos Auto Square. One thing you may notice is a lack of a BMW, Mercedes Benz, and Porsche dealership. The reason being is because there is a California law that states that you cannot have more than two of the same kind of auto dealership within a ten mile radius. Unfortunately, BMW, Porsche and Mercedes Benz already have locations in nearby Norwalk, Buena Park, and Long Beach. So even if the owner of the Shelly BMW in Buena Park wants to relocate to the Cerritos Auto Square, they wouldn't be able to because it would bring them within ten miles of McKenna BMW and Porsche in Norwalk. Seeing the current state of the economy and rising fuel costs, I can see the Auto Square having greater difficulties in the future unless the dealerships start cutting incredible deals or promoting more fuel-efficient, eco-friendly cars. The auto mall would probably also benefit if they added a more diverse range of "autos" like motorcycles, RVs and boats to their stores. read more

WORST PLACE TO BUY A CAR ! I traded in my car back in October of 2016 and now in march of 2017 I have been getting toll road violations on my old car . They told me they sold it to another dealership who sold it to someone and it was never taken out of my name . Not only Did I have HUNDREDS of dollars in toll road violation I was also getting letters from the OC SHERIFFS OFFICE stating that my old car had been impounded for violations . Nice place to go if you don't have a particular car brand in mind. It's nice to have all the car brand dealers in one area. Honda dealership was a bit disappointing though because considering they have such a big lot they mostly filled it up with the Civic or Accord. The down side to this place is the lack of parking. Regarding the Toyota autonation: I bought my car in June 2020, I got my plates and tag but my tag came up due for October 2020. I had paid for the whole year already. I called the dmv clerk yesenia 5 times. Left her messages and no reply. I've called the dealership and they sent two emails. I left a message for a victor and no reply. Worst place ever!!!! Read this review and others before going!!!!! I took my car in on a Thursday morning due to car trouble. Thursday around lunch car I got a call about all"issues" wrong with my 2015 Dodge Durango added up to $1,000. Service rep stated it will be ready before 7pm on same day. 4pm came I called to see if it will be ready due to working in Anaheim and live in LA mind I get off from work at 5pm but no answer called again at 5pm no answer again at 6pm not answer finally I called and someone answered at 6:30pm and they told me the service tech was gone for the day that he will call me 1st thing Friday at 7am that a note was put on his computer because on the system my car said complete but she wasn't sure if it really was ready. (I am not sure how their system works) I didn't even get a courtesy call to let me know it was not going to be ready and if I needed a rental nothing. I had to look for a ride home. Next day Friday 7:30am i had to ask for a ride to work I called since I didn't get a call at 7am and I asked for an update and they said hmm looks ready but when I click on it 2 items pending and she will leave a message for my assigned service tech to call me. At 8:55am I called again and I spoke to the same girl from Thursday and was surprised no one had called me to provide me with an update and that will message my service rep. I called again and asked once again for an update and same girl answer and said my service rep had to leave early due to family emergency. That she will emailed other service reps to give me an update. No updated. I had to call once again and asked my call to be transferred to a supervisor twice with no answer. Finally a long day of calling I called around 5pm on Friday and no one ever answered. So another day I had to ask for a ride to home. Saturday I went to the dealer at 8:30am spoke to a service rep said my service tech was out and I asked him if they do courtesy calls on car status and said yes we supposed too. And I told him I have been calling since Thursday and Friday and if they would of transferred my call to him he would of have me and update like if I supposed to know people names that work there (lol) so he said my service rep was out and was going to check who had my paperwork, he found it and said it's ready I was like okay but I didn't get a call and he said we can give you a free oil change I was like no I want to get my car and leave. He said the service tech will call you when paperwork is ready please wait in the lobby. My sister and I waited in the lobby and I can see the service rep kept helping other people he would walk out to the service Area and continued to get more people. (Mind you we are sitting in the lobby with people during this COVID time) An hour and a half later I walked up front and asked the service rep how long those the paper work take that it's been over and hour and if there was someone else that can help. And he said very upset no like I said he has your paper work he can help you when he can. (Wow) at that point I waited by service rep desk and took one more person and after he got my paperwork and asked me how can he help me and I stated I was waiting on my car. He typed so much info into the computer and then asked me how much was I told it was going to be? Because he saw numbers and I told him I couldn't remember and he was getting upset but yet I was the one that was without a car and got poor customer service. I finally got my car and left the dealer almost 11am and when I got in the car I saw a sticker that they had done the oil change even after I said I didn't want it that I wanted to get out of there!!! This is the worst experience I had ever had at a dealership. I have gone to Mcpeek Dodge and Motor Village La and they have gave me courtesy calls and offer me a rental even just to get by for the day!! The only reason why I took my car to Cerritos was because my car broke down 5mins away. I should of just towed it to either of the other dealers!!! I would not recommend Cerritos auto square to anyone not even if your car broke down outside of the dealer it is not worth it specially because the issues my car had are still there so I lost my money and I don't feel like taking it back!!!!! I purchased a 2016 GMC Terrain from Penske GMC.m, after about 3 weeks I noticed rubbing noise, found out it was part underneath the bumper was hanging off rubbing the ground, made an appt to take it in, the next morning my car began sputtering and shutting off, doing it repeatedly, the engine light came on. When I finally brought the car in for repairs, ( came once but they were moving locations of the service dept, so I made another appt)I've owned the car for a month and a couple weeks. The service department, they diagnosed the problem, and wanted to charge 700$ for repairs, stating I was passed the 1 month 1,000 mile limited warranty. The engine issue was a cylinoid had gone out, but that should have been noticed before the car was sold, that means it was already bad, nothing I did caused these issues, they were already,. Spoke with the sales manager Steve he was very rude stating that I have to pay that amount if I wanted the car fixed, nothing else needed to be discussed...so I purchased a car , had for a month and now have to pay 700$ in repairs that were clearly overlooked by the dealership, total negligence on their part. We are extremely disappointed with our experience at this dealership. We had made an appointment to go and look at a Corvette that we were interested in. When we got there, we found that someone else was already in the process of buying this Corvette. Instead of just being up front with us and informing us that this Corvette was no longer available, the sales people strung us along, making us think that we had a chance to purchase this car. They took all of our credit information, and ran a credit check, and then told us that the car was already sold. If you make an appointment to go see a car, do not make the assumption that it will be available for purchase when you get there, and don't let them run your credit if they tell you someone else is there looking at the car as well.
