This is a lovely place to have lunch in the great outdoors. Located between 2000 Avenue of the Stars and Century Park Towers and walking distance from many of the office buildings in the area. It's a beautiful large outdoor four acre space with lots of green lush and cultivated grass and trees surrounded by tall, skyscraper office buildings.
There are many places to purchase a quick bite including Starbucks, Mendocino Farms, Habernero Grill, The Stand, and Cuvee but there's also no harm in bringing your own lunch and eating here as well. Craft is a more formal restaurant located in the park but people who eat there usually dine at the restaurant. The bank is nearby too which is super convenient.
The Wallis Annenberg Space for Photography, which was a phenomenal destination and had amazing exhibits, is no longer here and permanently closed in 2020 which is a shame. It was a wonderful place to visit! I miss it.
There are a plentiful number of first come, first served tables and chairs and they are kept pretty clean.
It can get very cold or windy and there are no heat lamps so bring a sweater on chilly days.
I'm not sure about the parking situation if you don't have validated parking from a local office around here. Most of the people who have lunch here work in the office building or are meeting someone who is going to validate for them. I would not suggest making a special trip to the park if you don't have a validation or aren't within walking distance as parking can be expensive.
This gorgeous space can also be rented out for events. read more
