Cute park to come to and vibe. Perfect for the summer. Not too many trees for shade though, so go early. Playsets and jungle area for the kiddos. Also caught a T-Ball game lol. Courts for hooping and plenty of open space for your pets. Come enjoy the sun and touch some grass!

Pan Pacific Park, I missed you! This LA favorite of greenery, scenery, and recreation is located next to the infamous Grove LA as well as the Holocaust museum. You can enjoy scenic hills, walkways, built-in workout equipment, bbq grills, the jungle gym/train, swings, shady areas, wide open fields, tennis courts, baseball, soccer, basketball, you name it! There is plenty of room for all to enjoy this iconic park. It's definitely a great place to meet up with friends, old and new. Enjoy a day out with family, picnic dates, and/or some you time. You can still enter from the Grove Drive side while they're doing some construction near the Musuem side entrance, but there isn't really any parking on this street other than at The Grove itself. Restrooms near both parking lots as well as on the west side of the park, however during construction or perhaps just the weekend the west side bathrooms were closed - additional they have facilities inside the recreation center, which is open Monday through Saturday (excluding holidays). PPP has parking off Beverly Blvd in their main park lot as well as their Gardner Street lot by the Recreation Center, Pan Pacific Senior Activity Center, LA Public Fairfax Branch Library and Swimming Pool area. A Sunday Funday picnic was just what I wanted and needed this weekend - will come back soon for some more outdoor recreation and relaxation :) Stay tuned!

Such a beautiful park. But the city is not doing their part. The playgrounds are in terrible condition and children continue to play around the tape and caution signs. It's probably been like this for some time.

Definitely one of my favorite parks to frequent. Throw down a blanket and some snacks and just veg. Been coming here for years and yes parking can be tricky if the lot ends up being full but a circle or 2 around the side streets and you'll find something just fine. Pan Pacific is definitely a family friendly park with ball fields, 2 playgrounds, grills and picnic tables. There's even a few pavilions I guess you can reserve. Plenty of grass for your pooch to roam, run and play with other dogs. There's also quite a few snack vendors that roll around the park in case you forgot to bring something to snack on. All in all Pan Pacific is a chill park to come and while away a few hours.

    No fear!

I love Pan Pacific Park. It's my one of my favorite parks in LA. I used to come here as a little girl with my family so to be able to enjoy and appreciate Pan Pacific as an adult is really special - it always brings back good memories. I usually go on Sundays as it's a great way to close the week out, a nice way to meet and get caught up with friends, their dogs and get some exercise. The park itself is big and very dog friendly. They have lots of walk paths that encompass the entire park. There's a playground section for little kids. There's the soccer field, basketball courts, baseball diamond. I love seeing families having picnics, playing with or coaching and encouraging their kids. Pan Pacific has good vibes, good people watching and you hear every single language imaginable - that's one of the great things I love and feel so fortunate about being raised in Los Angeles is the diversity. I've never encountered a mean person - it's the opposite people are super friendly, smiling and in a good mood. There are plenty of picnic tables and grills located throughout the park - lots of birthday parties, family reunions - it's nice to see all of that. I usually meet up with members of my ladies' hiking group and our dogs. Someone picks up food/drinks and we just meet up with our blankets/chairs find a nice space eat, talk and play with dogs. My dog loves this park too. When I first got her, she was terrified of men and little kids. Now with consistent training and socialization, she no longer runs away or lunges towards men in fear which is great for me. She's gotten really good with little kids and little kids like her too. I normally don't have problem with parking because there's always someone leaving. I just don't come around the holidays because of its proximity to the Gove and all the traffic it brings. If you're looking for a nice chill spot to bring your dog and/or kids or if you just want to be alone to think, Pan Pacific is the place for you. It's a great way to spend some time to reconnect and recharge.

Where have I been? What a gorgeous park!!!! Still on the hunt for 'Dog parks'. And where's my Yelp check in Badge? But I was on the way to a YelpLAEvent this year and uncovered this super gorgeous LA park here. It is doubtlessly gorgeous here when I drove past it. It is located in the extremely upscale vicinity of Los Angeles, CA. On Beverly Blvd. I'll have to stop by here again next time I drive to Burbank, CA for more local businesses and take more pics from 'Pan Pacific Park.' This park offered free parking so has to be convenient strolling and exercising here. Gotta return here soon.

Way bigger than I expected! I came for a Stonewall Democratic Club picnic/party and it was actually hard to find because the place is big and during any given weekend day, there are a dozen or more parties going on. Parking lot is really tight so I wouldn't even bother with that on the weekend... look for street parking. It's not hard to find if you're there relatively early. Lots of facilities and even a few water/fruit vendors scattered about on this HOT weekend afternoon. My strong recommendation is to get detailed directions if you're meeting a group because otherwise, you'll do what we did, which is hike through the entirety of the park because we parked on the complete other side. This place is big y'all. But a nice, well-maintained place to have a family get together, group party or just to walk around and enjoy some nature. If that's your thing.

Huge park and huge parking lot. Came on a Sunday night for a sound bath. Really enjoyed the space and it had enough people that I felt safe even at night when we left around 830pm when it was dark. It is in an area with a few restaurants and by the Grove which is great. Would def come here again.

The Pan-Pacific Auditorium was a landmark structure in the Los Angeles, California Fairfax District. It once stood near the site of Gilmore Field, an early Los Angeles baseball venue predating Dodger Stadium. #PanPacificAuditorium #GilmoreField #Fairfaxdistrict

Ask the Community - Pan Pacific Park

Is there an inside area for events? How many people can gather for an outdoor /indoor event. Ie. Family reunion?

They do have an indoor area you can rent . I’m not sure how big it is or how much it is . As for outdoors there are large areas but for that size crowd you would have to get a permit .

    Is there a running track?

No, there is no running track but you could run various looping paved paths throughout the park.

How can people report aggressive off-leash dogs?

I have complained many times by attack from unleashed dogs, through e mail, but no response, now, some people even open a small lunch broth in the park, no one care, I even see the park employees buying lunch there.

Can some people cook and sell lunch boxes and occupy the lunch tables in the pavilion? from Monday to Friday from 11:30

I see some reviews that say there are 2 parking lots. Any recommendations on how to access, and if it is worthwhile to opt for either lot over street parking during peak hours?

Anyone ever try the camp? Thoughts/reviews for a 5 year old?

I saw a couple of people walking in the park with tennis rackets. Are there tennis or racquetball courts here?

No there isnt. But you can fing tennis courts at poinsettia park witch is not to far from here.

What days and times are their open basketball gym slots for adults?

Hi Vito, Public Open gym time is 9:30am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday.

It says it's closed on sundays but some reviews say people went on Sunday, has anyone been there on Sunday, is it open and can you get in on a Sunday even though it says it's closed? Thanks!

    It IS open everyday.

Which side of the park is the exercise equipment located?

It is located near the center of the park. If you park in our Gardner Street parking lot, it is to the North between Baseball Diamond 2 and 3. If you park in the Beverly Parking lot, you will walk South, into the park. It is past the basketball… Read more

It used to be free but it's $6 per person and you have to park on the street, but no big deal here . . . yet. Our group of 3 walks up along with another person and we try to check in with 2 men at a table. One older gray haired man tells us the tour already started. I'm completely confused and look at my watch, and say, "it's only 3 minutes after the start time." Then he says, "We were looking for you!" I said, "Well, you weren't looking very hard because here we all are checking in at the start of the tour." After he checks us in, I ask if we can sprint to catch up to the tour and he says yes. I lean into the doorway and see the rest of the tour - 4 other women right there. So half the tour was 3 minutes "late" and they decided to start, weird but moving on. The woman leading the tour was really quite lovely and I wasn't expecting the house to be so amazing since I was focused on the garden part but I really loved learning about the house and original inhabitants. We are asked several times if we want to join the meditation but I'm getting culty vibes and we keep politely declining. Once we are outside, we are asked again if we would like to join the meditation and now the gray haired man is with us again and I said, "No, we really just wanted to see the gardens." At this point he says, "Oh the gardens are closed." I'm completely confused again and said, "What? But that's why we came-- to see the gardens & labyrinth." He then says, "Oh! well the labyrinth is open but the gardens are closed." At this point I think they asked us to join the meditation again. I asked when they expected them to be opened and the response was June of this year, maybe because there have been a lot of delays. Again, weird, but okay we just want to walk the labyrinth. There were a couple of other women walking it and then our group of three joined too. I'm halfway thru it and I look up and see the gray haired man STARING at us - which included 3 preteens/teens in halter tops posing and taking pix - and I was so incredibly creeped out. I had no idea what to do, cross the labyrinth? ask him what he is staring at? I came to this place to ground and do something calming and now I have a man staring at me and other women but since everyone else was looking down or at their phone, they didn't notice so I didn't want to disrupt THEIR experience. Eventually he went away, to join the meditation I guess. We finished the labyrinth and left. It was only $6 but since it didn't mention the gardens were closed on the website or ticket, I am asking for a refund. Would I go again when the gardens are open? Yes. Would I recommend to others? Yes. Would I advise against it as a single woman? Also yes. I will update if they refund us or not.
