A quant winery that has an emphasis on sweet wines. The sampling was fun, but not done in the typical fashion. There was no long winded introduction to each type, there was literally none with the exception of the name. It was a tranquil and peaceful place, even with an abundance of visitors. We stopped in on Christmas Eve. We were feeling a little disappointed as we had driven from Memphis to the TN Safari Park only to find it closed. Century Farm was our planned second stop . Tom assisted us with our wines and was such a fun and delightful joy. We sat outside with the charcuterie lunch we had packed, enjoying the great views and tasty wine flights. Our day was salvaged. Stopped by this winery on a Saturday afternoon. It is a beautiful winery with huge outdoor seating area and a few patios also. Off a slow little road so very quiet and peaceful. They even had a band playing. We walked into the tasting room where a large group was finishing a tasting. Despite there being 3 people behind the counter, only 1 was helping the group, we still waited for about 10-15 minutes before anyone came over to our group of 2. Having been to multiple wineries in the past on our travels, I was surprised that we were not given any sort of explanation on the wines or the tastings. That's the part I love best about wineries is hearing the story and details the winery offers usually. When I said I'd do the 10 tastings option, I was told they stop doing that in 10 minutes, even though they were open several more hours. I didn't see any notation of that on the menu anywhere, but since I was just in time I was able to do it. The wines were all very similar to each other. I can't say we tasted any of the specific elements mentioned in any of the wines. They just ranged from being really sweet to not so sweet, tasted fine but no flavor profiles to note. My tips would be to go there for the beauty of the area, but keep in mind the wines aren't great, the service was barely there, and the hours and options are not what is advertised. read more

Why have I never been here? I am from Jackson. They have been in business nearly 15 years. I have clearly been missing out on a local gem that has been around for quite some time. Either way, I came here Christmas Eve and I was very thankful to change my visit status. The owner, Carl, served my friend and I. To no surprise his family and my family went to church together. Jackson is a small town and everyone knows everyone. I had the pleasure of meeting his acquaintance along with his mom. His mom's family has owned and farmed the land for over a century of which the winery is on. So, when we say this is family owned, this is very family owned. I took it upon myself to try most of their wines. My friend drove, so I was not going to pass up the opportunity. I really loved their offerings and their prices for the product were on point also. I felt so happy when I was able to buy their elderberry wine and their traminette. Traminette is my favorite kind of wine at the moment. Carl was very covid aware. He wore a mask during my experience and was very sanitary with the handling of our wine tasting experience. This was a nice change considering I have seen a lot of places in Jackson not taking the pandemic seriously. We are still very much in the thick of the pandemic and they're not acting in accordance with the county mandate. This might become a local haunt for me when I visit Jackson. It is evident that I enjoyed it and that my family enjoyed it since they cleared both bottles of wine I took with me to Christmas dinner. It is worth the stop. Additionally, pair this stop with a visit to Samuel T. Bryant Distillery down the road, also. read more

Stopped in on our way home from Arizona. The owner Served us. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I tried the dry reds and Velvet tried the dry whites. Their biggest sellers are the sweet wines. Well, it is middle Tennessee. I really liked the Norton. Very different, kinda like me. I also tried the Port. Excellent. I bought a bottle of each. Velvet liked the Chardonel. read more

So, this sure ain't California wine tasting my friends. But jeez it was amazing. So many pours of locally grown and produced wine by the owner himself. Friendly welcome from the start and our party of 5 hit every single sip. Well, I didn't - I was the DD, but I sniffed a few samples and they all were amazing. Mom stopped in at the end of our tasting and it was nice to see family working together. We bought a case - can't wait for its arrival. We came to this winery by seeing a billboard for it and we are so happy we did!! One of the owners did our tasting which was $5 for any wines we wanted to try without a set number limit. All of the ones we tried were great with the top faves being the plum fruit wine and mulled wine!!! Definitely get a mulled wine bag, it is the absolute cutest and comes with all of the ingredients and a recipe. Awesome feel good spot, highly recommend!!! read more

We stopped at this winery to check it out on our trip from Memphis to Nashville. It's tucked away on a country road surrounded by farm land. It is so charming and picturesque. We enjoyed our wine tasting and were so pleased with the little tour and conversation we had with the man that worked there. Their wine is super tasty, especially the fruit flavored wines. Locals were in and out of there picking up their favorites. Wish we lived locally because we would be in there all the time. Great stop along I-40 to taste wine. 90% of the grapes are grown right there on the farm! Wines from dry to sweet, something for everyone's palate. My favorites included Forbidden Zin, Raspberry Delight, and Velvet Rose. My husband loved the Blackberry and Traminette. Lovely stop on our long trip home. read more

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by the wine maker's wife who provided us with our wine tasting. The winery owners have 350 acres of land, although only 13.5 acres have grapes. The land has been in the wife's family for 100+ years, thus the name...Century Farms. We tried the dry reds, which were good. We also tried a couple of the sweet fruit wines. We liked their pear wine which is made from Kieffer pears on their farm. Their wine selection had a little something for everyone. The winery is off exit 74 about 2 miles. I'd definitely recommend stopping and tasting the wine at this local winery. read more

These people were a pleasure to visit with and everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end of our stop. They made the entire tasting experience easy, comfortable... and their pricing and selection was unbelievable. Not only were their out the door bottle and case prices better than other traditional distributors, but they brought so much more to the table than we expected... or knew that we should expect. They have set the bar much higher for every other winery that we are sure to visit from now on. All that being said, we have LOVED every bottle of wine we brought home! The hospitality received at this winery was phenomenal; the man that helped us was incredibly nice and also very polite. He answered all of our questions, gave us a little history on the winery and their wine, and explained how they created a port-like wine. Stopped here based on the earlier reviews. It's as good as they say IMHO. We had our own little wine tasting with one of the owners and he let us try as many of their wines as we wanted. I'm not much of a wine drinker but I really liked the Heritage Red and both the red and white varieties of the Muscadine wine. He even did a quick tour of the operation. Overall a great little place to stop. We will definitely be back for a resupply once these bottles are empty. read more
