My first wine flight!
Laura A.

When I first pulled into the parking lot, I had to stop, look around, and take in the beauty of the buildings and the vineyard. I was greeted with smiles and a large variety of wine selections, Beer as well but 'I Drink Wine' (if you don't listen to Adele, you should! This is a good song to start with!) From the white, to the red, to the sweet, and the frozen, you can't go wrong with a wine flight to decide on your favorite. For me, it was the Blueberry wine as well as the cranberry frozen wine. I was able to make it to Second Sunday Brunch and could not leave a bite because every bite was delicious. The ambiance is the best, but it's the people there that make it the best. If you haven't, you should. Make it a priority to get to Crown Winery! Make sure to make reservations! You won't be disappointed!!

I went for a day date with my husband. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the atmosphere of just US! It's harvesting season . The pizza was flavorful and delicious. We were able to take our time and enjoy!

My husband took me on a unexpected wine tasting today. We both love the little town of Humboldt and stumbling upon Crown Winery was a great treat. The owners of Crown winery are a family run business . In addition to great local wine that is made on there property they also have a brewery . I am extremely impressed that they can do both. We didn't try any of the beer but it looked amazing. They also make food there, we had the Lauren pizza it is a thin crust with lots of veggies. Support local businesses and give them a visit. They are closed mo

What a nice winery and vineyard to stroll through after tasting! Kaylee was quite helpful in explaining TN wines to me. Coming from CA, I was pleasantly surprised with the wines I chose to taste. I would recommend you to stop by for a tasting and stroll !

The pretty balcony

This place is absolutely gorgeous. It is pretty expensive (about $2000) and a tad small so keep that in mind. But it is so pretty. It looks like a hacieda in Mexico and has a beautiful balcony with ivy flowing down the stairwell. They also allow brides and wedding parties to take pictures here even if you are not having the reception here.

Mrs Rita was very responsive when I emailed her to schedule the visit. We arrived and along with 3 others, we started the wine tasting. Rita explained each wine in detail. After the tasting was the tour. Taylor was our tour guide. He did a good job answering questions and explaining the whole process. The vineyard is beautiful. I definitely recommend getting the Groupon.

The new owners offered to honor the auction certificate that the previous owner refused to honor. They worked with me to set up a date for my group to do our wine tasting and tour that would work for the both of us. Bear in mind, they were in no way obligated to make good on this certificate as this was done by the previous owner. We arrived at the most lovely place you could imagine for being in a mostly rural area of Tennessee. We walked through, I drove my wheelchair, the door and was greeted by one of the most friendly host you could ever hope to acquire. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to our party. Once everyone arrived, she and her partner took us through an unforgettable journey of the Crown Winery by tasting the wines and giving us the history of the vines, the grapes, and the previous owners. We all had cards to mark our favorite wines so that while we were taking the tour of the vineyard, they could get our order together. Well, there were only a couple of boxes that weren't checked, and we bought several of each bottle! The husband of one of one of our hosts, another owner, conducted the tour of the rest of the facility. Even though they are new owners, he Wes very knowledgeable as to what it takes to run a winery and vineyard. The tour was excellent and all had a great time and took a lot of pictures in the vineyard. They have a lot of events that we plan on attending in the future as they are very friendly and the wine, and they serve High Cotton Beer, is awesome, the atmosphere is inviting, and the surrounding are relaxing.

I visited on a beautiful Saturday in May on an unofficial western Tennessee winery tour. Great winery experience. The pizza is a must have, I know pizza and winery who would've thought. Great patio to spend a beautiful day hanging out!

Around mid-June, my wife and I were in the Paducah, KY area on the way to visit some friends. We…read morehad time to kill, so we Googled if there were any local wineries. The one we decided to check out was Poca Terra Winery. Once you leave Paducah proper heading out to the rural areas the roads very much start to narrow and winding, our ride to Poca Terra being no exception. Once we found the winery the countryside was well worth the trip. Poca Terra is a small winery on what may have been a farm at one time. There is a small vineyard next to the main house. In the back of the property, there is a barn-type structure that the owners are converting into a tasting building. For the present, the couple who own the winery does their tastings on an outside porch at the main house. We were the only ones there so we were able to spend time with the owners tasting and discussing their wines and how they came about becoming winemakers. They inherited some antique but functional winemaking equipment passed on down the years from his grandfather who used to make his wines. The equipment originally came from Italy and supplements their more modern equipment. I have to say, even though they may be a smaller winery, their estate bottle dry wines were excellent. My wife and I bought all five of their dry wines. One was a rather unique rose aged in oak. They also bottle sweet and semi-sweet wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with John and Karen, the owners, and their wines. We will come back and I would encourage you if you are in the area to pay a visit.

We showed up tonight for their music event and stood in line about a bottle wine and sat down in…read morethe rain came along, which we are not upset about cause the rain is what it is but what we are not happy about is you charge is five dollars for a corkage fee to take that bottle from your table down to the table we had in your yard. I don't understand why you would charge us extra five dollars to take the cork out of the bottle for us. Are we supposed to carry a wine cork so we don't have to pay for that??? unless it's required by law which I don't believe it is a little ridiculous
