If you have ever wanted a drive thru bakery this is your stop! That's right a DRIVE-THRU. So I have placed a couple orders from Century but felt like I didn't try enough to leave a review. Just recently I placed an order for the butter cream donut holes. They were just WOW, my clinical site couldn't stop eating them and only $6 a dozen! One of my favorite things they make are the peanut butter donuts. Which are always limited release. If you call to place an order ahead of time it will always be ready! We used them for our wedding cake in March of 2022. The cake has different fillings in each tier and it was AMAZING. You would be better off going to Terrigno Bakery. One time I saw mosquitos flying on the bake goods and when I said something ... the rude counter young lady said what you want me to do about it. Amazing little mom and pop bakery. The donuts are hands down the best I've ever had. Went on this trip for cookies to take to a holiday party and they didn't disappoint. Got some holiday themed cookies that were a little pricier than expected but delicious so no regrets. The chocolate chip are also bomb and worth every penny of 90 cents each. I traveled pretty far to get these donuts that came highly recommended to me. They are unique donuts that is for sure. They are not quite a cake donut but also not a yeast donut. The donuts are dense and very sweet. The danishes are on a cinnamon roll so instead of being buttery they have a hint of cinnamon to them. The other donuts were pretty goodd as well. I wouldn't travel to far out of my way to get them but if I was close enough I wouldn't hesitate to stop in and get some more. I don't like filled donuts so I didn't order any of those and can't say how they taste. read more

Use to drive miles to enjoy there delightful pastries. The last several times we were there the buttercream donuts have really slipped and the sticky buns, too. The buttercream has lost have if it's flavor. The sticky buns have less sticky, raisins, and nuts. The prices are way to high for the quality. I have moved back to the area and I no longer go to this bakery. So sad since this was my favorite bakery for over 50 years. read more

I was touring Cumberland county for work, and stopped at Century on the lively recommendation of a coworker who lives in the area. If you blinked, you'd miss it, and from the street, the unassuming building does not do the magic of their baked goods justice. I'm not even going to lie, these may be the best donuts I've ever had. Like definitely top 3. And that says a lot because I'm someone who has eaten a lot of donuts in her time. I didn't try anything else in the display case, but not for lack of desire. Yes! Can I say that is all? It's sugary and filling and you really should have everything with milk or water. It's amazing. Like probably the rest of the consumers I love the cream filling. So far I've had the donuts, cookies and cupcakes. I can't wait to keep tasting their variety of sweets. I can only eat half a donut at a time. ok, great donuts but stuck behind the times. Don't do custom cakes. They pour the batter in a tin pan. Not even a quarter inch thick. I don't want my cake in a tin pan. It's been years (or probably half of my life) since I've had a cake or cookie from Century Bakery. Almost ALL of my birthday cakes growing up were from them. (They had quite a few cat/kitten designs for a little girl's dream sheet cake, let me tell ya. I think I repeated a pattern only on one occasion!) I also LOVED their molasses cookies. It was a special treat on the way home from the library to stop in and get a cupcake or a cookie. I am happy that they are still in business. I hope to order some sort of cupcake/wedding cake for a reception in November of this year. I can't wait! My only gripe is about their website: Like, there is none. You go to the URL and you'd expect to at least have a menu or pricing to order, but it is a static page with the address and hours only. :-( read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I'm originally from the area, but have since moved to Philly. Whenever I come back to visit I always stop in! I LOVE sweet sweets and Century Bakery delivers. Perfect cakes, too -- doesn't leave that "cheap" aftertaste in your mouth. One time the cake decorator was out so they let me do my own decorating...lol. It was a mess, but fun! My grandmother worked at Century when she was a teen girl with her mother. She would always tell us the stories about baking donuts and cakes. Growing up we always had Century donuts. They are delicious. When you walk in it smells just like delicious sugar. The staff is nice and always so helpful. This place gets packed and booked up for holidays so make sure you order in advance. read more

The black and white fried doughnut is by far my favorite doughnut I've ever eaten. I grew up nearby and make sure to always stop and pick some up when I'm visiting home. If you've never had the pleasure of trying their fried doughnut here's what you're getting into: it's almost like a cinnamon roll deep fried and coated with some of the best frosting you'll ever taste. You can get different flavors but go black and white to get a ying-yang like combination between chocolate and vanilla.
