If you have ever wanted a drive thru bakery this is your stop! That's right a DRIVE-THRU. So I have placed a couple orders from Century but felt like I didn't try enough to leave a review. Just recently I placed an order for the butter cream donut holes. They were just WOW, my clinical site couldn't stop eating them and only $6 a dozen! One of my favorite things they make are the peanut butter donuts. Which are always limited release. If you call to place an order ahead of time it will always be ready! If you don't there is a drive thru option where you can pick from the daily baked goods! Definitely my top bakery in South Jersey. Classic baked donuts, cakes, and cookies! read more

Century Bakery - Fried donuts, jelly filled donut - Bakeries Near Me - Bridgeton, New Jersey

We used them for our wedding cake in March of 2022. The cake has different fillings in each tier and it was AMAZING. The taste testing was nice too and we could tell they really cared about our order and even used fresh local roses that matched my color scheme on the cake. 100% will use them for future big-life moments. read more

Century Bakery - The beautiful cake - Bakeries Near Me - Bridgeton, New Jersey

Since this bakery is under new management, the customer service is poor and the manager does nothing about it. Also, the quality of the food is not fresh. You would be better off going to Terrigno Bakery. One time I saw mosquitos flying on the bake goods and when I said something ... the rude counter young lady said what you want me to do about it. I have never been back since. read more

This has been my favorite bakery since 1995 and even though it obviously has changed ownership. The donuts are still the same great recipe. I will always and I mean always stop and grab donuts from century whenever I am back in my old stomping grounds! read more

Century Bakery - The best fried donuts - Bakeries Near Me - Bridgeton, New Jersey

Amazing little mom and pop bakery. The donuts are hands down the best I've ever had. Went on this trip for cookies to take to a holiday party and they didn't disappoint. Got some holiday themed cookies that were a little pricier than expected but delicious so no regrets. The chocolate chip are also bomb and worth every penny of 90 cents each. Super sweet girl at the counter who helped me and the take debit cards which is always a plus. read more

Century Bakery - Bakeries Near Me - Bridgeton, New Jersey

I traveled pretty far to get these donuts that came highly recommended to me. They are unique donuts that is for sure. They are not quite a cake donut but also not a yeast donut. The donuts are dense and very sweet. The danishes are on a cinnamon roll so instead of being buttery they have a hint of cinnamon to them. The other donuts were pretty goodd as well. I wouldn't travel to far out of my way to get them but if I was close enough I wouldn't hesitate to stop in and get some more. I don't like filled donuts so I didn't order any of those and can't say how they taste. read more

Century Bakery - A box of mixed donuts - Bakeries Near Me - Bridgeton, New Jersey

Got the Boston creme donut, but I was not a fan of the dough. The custard filling was the right texture and had a good flavor. The chocolate icing on top was a bit sweet for me. The prices were very reasonable. I would prefer the donut dough to be more traditional. read more

The doughnuts are pretty good. They are a bit dense but the flavor is good! The staff are nice and the service is usually pretty quick.

I recently ordered a birthday cake for my daughter, and I was so pleased with it! It was fresh, beautiful with extra touches that made it really special to present to my family celebration! I ordered a vanilla cake with lemon filling, and that was very delicious, thick and generous. Would definitely recommend! read more

Try their fried donuts! They even have a drive thru so try the fried donut in the drive thru.

Use to drive miles to enjoy there delightful pastries. The last several times we were there the buttercream donuts have really slipped and the sticky buns, too. The buttercream has lost have if it's flavor. The sticky buns have less sticky, raisins, and nuts. The prices are way to high for the quality. I have moved back to the area and I no longer go to this bakery. So sad since this was my favorite bakery for over 50 years. read more

Their doughnuts are hands above anyone else in the area. You'll pay more than the two big chains, but it is worth every penny! The flavors are amazing and their consistency from visit to visit is always top notch. Everyone at work always gets very excited when I show up with a century dozen! read more

Running late for work? Swing by Century and grab a dozen. No one will give a sh!t your late. I swear. They have a drive thru.

Best white cream donuts love them and great atmosphere. Every time you walk into the bakery it just brings you into that old fashion feeling of what a bakery would have been like in the 1800s. read more

Best donuts ever! I really love all the fresh baked goodies, they have always been a favorite of mine! So yummy

Y'all. This place is no joke. If you take your baked goods as seriously as I do, let me tell you, this place can satiate ALL the sweet teeth. I was touring Cumberland county for work, and stopped at Century on the lively recommendation of a coworker who lives in the area. If you blinked, you'd miss it, and from the street, the unassuming building does not do the magic of their baked goods justice. I'm not even going to lie, these may be the best donuts I've ever had. Like definitely top 3. And that says a lot because I'm someone who has eaten a lot of donuts in her time. I didn't try anything else in the display case, but not for lack of desire. You can tell a lot of love goes into their items. If you're in the area, or even if you're not, you've got to give this place a visit. read more

The best donuts, cakes & cupcakes around. Personal favorite is the fried coconut donut

Best bakery in Bridgeton NJ . Always fresh pastry & bread. Delicious cakes for any ocation.

Yes! Can I say that is all? It's sugary and filling and you really should have everything with milk or water. It's amazing. Like probably the rest of the consumers I love the cream filling. So far I've had the donuts, cookies and cupcakes. I can't wait to keep tasting their variety of sweets. I can only eat half a donut at a time. It's totally worth the calories, the cheat meal or whatever you are watching at the top of the year. read more

I maybe from Delaware, but that doesn't stop me from coming to century bakery in south jersey. This bakery hands down has the best donuts you will ever possible have, the donuts filled with butter cream are absolutely to die for. Just about any baked good you buy there is sure to impress. If you're looking for a nice bakery in the area it has to be century. read more

Absolutely the best bakery in this area! Blows every other bakery away. Their donuts are hands down the best. Their cakes, amazing! And the service is what you want to expect from a business. The only place I'll go to for my baked goods! read more

ok, great donuts but stuck behind the times. Don't do custom cakes. They pour the batter in a tin pan. Not even a quarter inch thick. I don't want my cake in a tin pan. I wanted a great cake for my daughters graduation. All they could do is stick photo on the cake. That's it? How long has this bakery been in business? Buy a couple Wilton cake pans! read more

It's been years (or probably half of my life) since I've had a cake or cookie from Century Bakery. Almost ALL of my birthday cakes growing up were from them. (They had quite a few cat/kitten designs for a little girl's dream sheet cake, let me tell ya. I think I repeated a pattern only on one occasion!) I also LOVED their molasses cookies. It was a special treat on the way home from the library to stop in and get a cupcake or a cookie. I am happy that they are still in business. I hope to order some sort of cupcake/wedding cake for a reception in November of this year. I can't wait! My only gripe is about their website: Like, there is none. You go to the URL and you'd expect to at least have a menu or pricing to order, but it is a static page with the address and hours only. :-( read more

Where to start? The fried donuts are to die for like Leonidas and the brave 300. Their buttercream icing will make anything taste 150% better than it has any right too. they bake tradtiional goods to go with holidays and there is never a long wait for service. read more

I've heard good things about them since we moved here, so I was happy when my husband brought home a birthday cake from this shop. Cake was pretty and delicious. Loved it. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I'm originally from the area, but have since moved to Philly. Whenever I come back to visit I always stop in! I LOVE sweet sweets and Century Bakery delivers. Perfect cakes, too -- doesn't leave that "cheap" aftertaste in your mouth. One time the cake decorator was out so they let me do my own decorating...lol. It was a mess, but fun! Awesome treats and fun staff. Love this place. read more

My grandmother worked at Century when she was a teen girl with her mother. She would always tell us the stories about baking donuts and cakes. Growing up we always had Century donuts. They are delicious. When you walk in it smells just like delicious sugar. The staff is nice and always so helpful. This place gets packed and booked up for holidays so make sure you order in advance. read more

Best buttercream donuts ever! The staff is friendly and helpful. Was disappointed when not only could I not get a Saint Joseph's came there-but also they they had no idea what I was talking about. read more

The black and white fried doughnut is by far my favorite doughnut I've ever eaten. I grew up nearby and make sure to always stop and pick some up when I'm visiting home. If you've never had the pleasure of trying their fried doughnut here's what you're getting into: it's almost like a cinnamon roll deep fried and coated with some of the best frosting you'll ever taste. You can get different flavors but go black and white to get a ying-yang like combination between chocolate and vanilla. Final advice to the uninitiated - save the circular core for the last bite and thank me later. read more
