I was introduced to cross country mortgage (Modesto California) by my agent upon looking for my…read morewife and I's second home. We were vary lucky. I met with (Eric Winchester) got our loan docs. I am a disabled veteran as was worried about getting a VA loan and having it go right. I've heard horror stories connected to VA home loans. I learned after working with Eric that he has so much knowledge when dealing with veterans and takes personal pride helping them out. Not only did my loan paperwork go smooth he made my family feel comfortable with his knowledge and understanding of all the little things when it comes to veterans. He got us approved and took a cut from his own fees to help us (please don't expect this with every deal as I take a risk posting this, but it just does his character and I feel it should be a part of it) with our costs.. he and I have stayed in contact over the last year that we've been in our new home and occasionally answered questions I had related to financial things that saved us a couple hundred on our mortgage payment. Things like tax cuts and things that as a veteran I qualified for.., that is yat a boy number one for Eric..... Yat-a-boy number two comes later on at the end of the year when I received property tax forms. I was getting notices that a year after our original financing the interest rate were much better than the great interest rate I already had. Because I had a friendship with Eric already from my first purchase I asked Eric about it, he did some checking, and said he would be able to do great things for me. My wife and I went back in gladly and found out that he saved us approximately $400 more with the new interest rate of over 1%, bringing our final interest rate down to 2.3% for 30 years. Here's that yat a boy number two. After running the numbers (and again I mentioned Eric is very knowledgeable when it comes to laws pertaining to veterans) Eric realized that I was being charged property taxes that I wasn't supposed to be charged for because of my status. He assisted me with dealing with the tax assessor's office to attempt to get this issue resolved. At one time he argued on my behalf to the agent that they were taxing me on stuff they shouldn't be taxing me based off of California law and it's 1.25% rate. He personally is assisting me with resolving this issue. It's currently ongoing but I have 100% faith that it's going to get resolved in my favor. Which will drop my mortgage payment even a couple hundred dollars more. Eric has been a Non-Stop resource for my family, and a lot of it is being done on his own time. If you're a veteran or even if you're not and you want somebody who's going to take a compassionate interest in helping you or securing you or your family a great loan to get a home you would be doing yourself a favor by reaching out to this company. Prior to this I didn't know who Eric Winchester was, but I'm certainly glad that my wife and I have met him. Anything I will do in the future that has anything to do with my house my mortgage or possible third house in the future, as long as Eric is working in the field he will be my contact. Thank you Eric Winchester from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for getting us this great loan and thank you for saving us a bunch of money...

Jeri will work diligently to make sure your needs are met, and she is a clear communicator who will be straightforward with you to cut out any confusion that may come along with the process. I knew very little about real estate before, but now things make a lot more sense because she answered my questions and was very patient throughout the process of selling and buying. She is professional and always looks stunning, I wouldn't want any other realtor representing me or my home. Thank you, Jeri, for helping to get us home sweet home. Why use professionalism when you can lie, use deceit, and misrepresent yourself in the market?…read more HomeSmart PV and Associates have a realtor who shows houses he hasn't listed on sheets he sends to clients, giving the impression that he has listed the house. This individual has lied to prospective customers about a house in a gated community he hasn't listed -- apparently trying to kill deals so that the seller has no confidence in the listing agent: he has made claims to prospective customers about trees on the property, claiming that they will fall and destroy the house, or, that their roots are causing structural damage to the foundation -- costing the seller more than $22,000 to disprove his allegations -- which never had any substance or basis in fact. These lies have resulted in the loss of three different sales.

If you are a property owner wishing to make $$$$ on your rentals this is the place for you. They only care about making money and it shows in their listings and the way they treat prospective middle class tenants. The office is SEVERELY understaffed and they have more properties then they can humanly handle. Stacey's true colors showed once I mentioned I saw a bunch of reviews on yelp about people having the same experience I felt they were giving me. She told me " you are threatening me with a yelp review and that makes me not want to serve you but I'm going to anyway". I should have known the hint she was giving after that. They also never asked me or any of the other applicants on my application for any type of identification or copies of such whatsoever, making it seem that they were never serious about us to begin with. Also When I called to ask for my credit report to be emailed, maribel told me I have to come in to get it, that she can't email it. Seriously ???!!! I've had it emailed by my phone company and electric company no problem. All they want to do is give you a hard time it seems. Also I have posted 2 reviews for this place on yelp already and they seem to keep reporting them and having them taken down. Now I'm not sure if they're lying to yelp about content guidelines and saying that these things do not happen ... but these things VERY MUCH did so happen. This office practices rental discrimination. And I'm not about to let yelp or any of the employees in there trying to hide this from the community keep trying to take my review down for content! This place needs to change their practices and not try to brush their shady ways under the rug.

Almost 4 years ago I purchased a house in Sonora to be a rental property. Shortly after the…read morepurchase of my house, I learned that very important known safety issues were not disclosed by the sellers nor their agent. After unsuccessful litigation, the cost to make the repairs outweighed the potential advantage of completing them. I knew I could not use an agent in the Sonora area after the litigation and looked outside the area. While looking on yelp, I saw a realtor named Scott Cary who had outstanding reviews from his clients. I phoned Scott who answered his phone and told him the circumstances around the property I had purchased. Scott totally understood my situation and said he would like to help me sell the house. Scott asked numerous questions and completed a market analysis to get the best possible dollar amount we could for the property I liked Scott's straightforward, honest, and no BS approach to the sale and marketing of my house. I subsequently signed on with Scott to be my representative in my home sale. Because of the known issues which had to be disclosed unlike the previous owners and agent, Scott walked me through the entire process and advised me of legal and moral obligations in my home sale. The house sale was not easy due to the previous conditions and repairs needed. We had a few offers most of which were not beneficial to me nor was there a good likelihood of closing because of financial issues of the potential buyers. Scott presented the offers to me and advised me of his opinion and thoughts about the offers including both plus and minus points. Scott acted in my best interest and guided me through the offers with knowledge, experience, and the presence to look out for my best interest. After several months, we finally received an offer that Scott felt was strong and had a great likelihood of success. Due to his recommendations, I accepted the offer and the house sale went through flawlessly and quickly. I want to say throughout the entire process which lasted quite a while, Scott always remained upbeat, undisturbed, very professional, and most important, looked out for my financial well-being during the sale of my home. I highly recommend you contact Scott Cary for all your real estate needs. I guarantee you won't be sorry and you will receive service beyond expectations, and no doubt greater than any other real estate agent!

He was saying he was going to work on multiple properties to put offers on without viewing them(which we found out that is not standard practice without at least touring the homes). Despite multiple promises to "work on things," nothing was ever actually confirmed and took very long to respond. He then wanted to arrange times to view properties, again did not confirm, and a day later after trying to reach him he replied that he had a child care emergency (which is not a problem for us BUT the complete lack of transparency and follow through was frustrating; it felt as if we wasted a weeks worth of potential properties.) Even though we replied, he however never got back to us again. This is a very unprofessional approach to any client. Honestly felt like there was no reason for this Overall, the experience felt careless, unreliable, and far below the level of professionalism one would expect when making major financial decisions. Don't recommend.
