Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our experience. While everything looks incredible on camera and in-person, the actually facilities could be better. We went on a weekend and it was packed. I understand that it could be busy on weekend, but this felt like next level. There was pushing and shoving both from the guests in the locker room and the staff. I felt bad for the overworked cleaning staff. I didn't like them pushing me from my locker. The lines were also very long in the locker room. We were hoping it was just a hiccup in the lockers, but all the facilites felt like this. The seats were left soggy and wet. They were packed and sorta loud. It felt more like a public pool than a spa. I think if I went in with the mindset that it had a public pool/gym feeling and very packed pretty spaces I would've liked it more. We booked three hour entry and left within the first hour. They also were out of water. It was still very beautiful, we just had a bad experience.

The hotel has had a total makeover, including a very large addition in the back of the property. The facilities are very sleek, modern, well appointed and very inviting. There is an amazing spa where we received wonderful massages and we took advantage of the Turkish bath and sauna. The breakfast buffet is presented beautifully and was kept fully stocked with a large variety of cereals, breads, eggs, yogurts, meats and cheeses. We did not eat dinner at the restaurant but did have desserts there each night which were graciously presented and were delicious. The modern bar is fully stocked and our bartender was exceptional both nights we were there. The staff are over the top friendly and helpful, making us feel like royalty during our short stay in Santa Margherita.

So Mrs Nesjo and I moseyed along on a Saturday arvo, paid €50 in total and ... were disappointed. First, the water jets are in a kiddie pool and you only need to pay a regular admission to get to them. (They were pretty good and after 3 or 4 cycles, my clavicles loosened up) But. The sauna area was a sausage fest and I was getting all the attention. In comparison to German thermen, it's only average. Half the saunas were closed because of the 'Rona. There is one little jacuzzi - which comfortably accommodates 6. The outside garden was 95% full of men taking the chance to sun-dry their salami. Granted, there are very limited spots to perfect that all-over tan at the Lago - I sympathize. There are very few places to bathe al natura at Lake Garda. Mrs Nesjo even complains when I'm al natura in our own pool.

It has a great selection of relaxation rooms as well different kinds of saunas. The view is beautiful and Sirmione is one of my favorite little towns. If you use a groupon make sure to follow the rules and book your date and time online. Even if you are only 30 minutes early your name won't show up in their computer to allow you in until your time. We did have a fabulous groupon which included one trip for a hot or cold meal, drink, and coffee. Also, there was no limitation on our time from the time we started. if you want to relax and watch the sunset this is the way to do it! Bring a book, plenty of sunscreen and enjoy the beauty of Lake Garda from the spa.

This is very unproffesional and ruined my enjoyment.There was bits where I felt the massuse was hand gesturing to the other massuse too.
