I sought an ADHD evaluation from Dr. Diljot Sachdeva at this practice. He advertises ADHD testing. My WAIS-IV showed a 50-point gap between Working Memory (139, 99.5th percentile) and Processing Speed (89, 23rd percentile). My BRIEF-2A showed severe metacognitive impairment with normal behavioral regulation -- the textbook profile of ADHD-Inattentive Type. Symptoms since elementary school. Tested on no sleep, not documented. I was tested in the gifted range as a child.
Diagnosis: Major Depressive Disorder. ADHD ruled out. He used a core feature of ADHD-Inattentive Type -- processing speed deficit with preserved working memory -- as evidence against ADHD. Two tests he administered (WURS-25 and D-KEFS) have no results in the report. Childhood history is one sentence. He recommended extended time accommodations for processing speed, which is a neurodevelopmental accommodation, not a depression accommodation.
