Two women employees were talking about their love life for a long time. Everyone in the store was staring as well. Usually when you see a potential customer bent over awwwing at the cage of guinea pigs you would come up and strike up a conversation hoping to make a sale. I know more about how long she's been single then how old The baby guineas were. Love coming by to visit and look for little furry love bugs to buy. Hope next time it's better.

I found a few cat toys and a really nice cat carrier here. I once inquired about adopting a cat here and they were very well informed about the animals and asked me about my situation and then told me that the cat I was inquiring about wouldn't be a good fit as she needed to be an only cat. They are not all about money they definitely care about the animals!

There is even a dog groomer in the back! Covid wise, they have a hand sanitizer on the window sill so if you blink you might miss it. Apart from that, because of its spacious floor plan, it never feels too claustrophobic even though there's a number of people there coming in and out for dog grooming services. The shop keepers were really nice and let Kimchi try a new perch! This was great because we were in the market for a new perch. It was pretty affordable, and they gave us a brand new one in a box even though Kimchi had tried it. They were also so nice to Kimchi in general and had a lot of questions for us about having an adventure cat. She was even allowed to walk a little bit in the shop, but we quickly put her back inside her backpack when we saw a dog come inside.

There are some local Montreal products, and even cups and mugs for the " pawrents "! It's a bit of a small location so there isn't much space. I think the maximum amount of people should be announced on the door to let people stay outside to wait before going inside. All the staff were wearing proper masks which is great. The staff were super helpful! The one person helping us was super attentive and informative. He let us know about certain products and recommended certain foods, but never forced anything on us which was nice. The one food recommendation he gave us was AWESOME for our cat. She loved it! Everyone was also very nice to Kimchi! Prices are reasonable considering it's a pretty posh boutique and in a very hip location close to downtown. We will definitely be back for some of the cat treats!
