Never board your dog at Les Anges Gardiennes. They stopped having someone stay with the animals…read moreovernight over a year ago, but didn't tell customers. They just pretend nothing changed. They put the dogs in cages, stacked floor to ceiling, in a tiny room with signs banning entry, so owners don't know how badly their animals are being treated. From the time the daycare closes at 7:00pm until after 7:00am the next morning there is no one there, and the dogs are stuck in little cages for 12+ hours. There is just a camera in the room and who knows if they monitor that. They make a show of putting some cats roaming freely in an office off reception, but they won't show you where they actually stick the dogs who are boarding there: in tiny cages that are off-limits and behind closed doors. I saw the disgusting room because a lovely person in reception told me to avoid boarding there, and showed me the room even though they could have been fired. The people who work in the daycare are fabulous, but the woman who runs the place, Vanessa, is super sweet to your face and takes your money, and then shoves your dog, alone and scared, in a small room and lies to you about someone being there. Oh, also, Vanessa steals tips. The people who work there are so lovely (and you should tip them!!!) but NEVER let Vanessa see you do it, she'll take it for herself, because "they owe her." NEVER GO HERE FOR ANYTHING.

Doggy day care, boarding and training, grooming, raw food services and more! They have packages to choose from also. They have helped me train my dog Austyn. However, on the third day I received an email saying she could no longer handle my dog which left me scrambling to coordinate with another boarder while I was not even in the province to do so. Her reason? My dog wants to chase squirrels and is sometimes reactive to bicycles. She also told me my dog demanded so much attention in the house that she was unable to use her computer or even shower! At least I was fully refunded but I could have done without the extra stress while trying to enjoy my vacation.

This is a great (and what seems like a fairly new one at that) pet store in Laval! It is a spacious…read moreshop with a lot of variety in merchandise, considering how small the space is. There is even a dog groomer in the back! Covid wise, they have a hand sanitizer on the window sill so if you blink you might miss it. Apart from that, because of its spacious floor plan, it never feels too claustrophobic even though there's a number of people there coming in and out for dog grooming services. The shop keepers were really nice and let Kimchi try a new perch! This was great because we were in the market for a new perch. It was pretty affordable, and they gave us a brand new one in a box even though Kimchi had tried it. They were also so nice to Kimchi in general and had a lot of questions for us about having an adventure cat. She was even allowed to walk a little bit in the shop, but we quickly put her back inside her backpack when we saw a dog come inside.
