Shedrow, a Canadian brand of dog coats is IT. Got a cute coat for my pup, and was tempted by many of their other offerings, but a girl's suitcase is only so large. This shop had a great selection of all sorts of pet products, and way nicer outerwear (Duh, it's Canadian) than anyplace I've seen in the US.

Two women employees were talking about their love life for a long time. Everyone in the store was staring as well. Usually when you see a potential customer bent over awwwing at the cage of guinea pigs you would come up and strike up a conversation hoping to make a sale. I know more about how long she's been single then how old The baby guineas were. Love coming by to visit and look for little furry love bugs to buy. Hope next time it's better.

I found a few cat toys and a really nice cat carrier here. I once inquired about adopting a cat here and they were very well informed about the animals and asked me about my situation and then told me that the cat I was inquiring about wouldn't be a good fit as she needed to be an only cat. They are not all about money they definitely care about the animals!

When booking the dog wash they didn't even ask what kind/size of dog, this resulted in them booking a short time for us to wash a 110lb german shepard so we had to leave well before completing the job. Not impressed. Also, staff have given mixed messages and showed a lack of knowledge in regards to kibble questions. They didn't seem to understand nutrition points, although they boasted about their annual food training. The store itself is clean and they offer quality products, but when you spend so much time looking for service staff only to have them be of no help... lets just say that if they didn't have the dog wash or locally source pet foods, this would be a one star.

When I first walked in I thought it was just another pet food store but the amount and variety of stock really impressed me. Large selection of food, toys and more with aisles packed. There are some local Montreal products, and even cups and mugs for the " pawrents "! It's a bit of a small location so there isn't much space. I think the maximum amount of people should be announced on the door to let people stay outside to wait before going inside. All the staff were wearing proper masks which is great. The staff were super helpful! The one person helping us was super attentive and informative. He let us know about certain products and recommended certain foods, but never forced anything on us which was nice. The one food recommendation he gave us was AWESOME for our cat. She loved it! Everyone was also very nice to Kimchi! Prices are reasonable considering it's a pretty posh boutique and in a very hip location close to downtown. We will definitely be back for some of the cat treats!

COVID review for Animalerie Little Bear!…read more There are a LOT of things in this shop. There is a huge variety of food, treats, toys and other goodies for your four legged friend. As a result, it's very popular and has many visitors who also bring their other four legged friends. I think when we went there were at least five dogs who visited. This means that it is a little bit tight and I feel like there should be more reinforcement when it comes to the number of people in the shop. Prices were decent. Like I mentioned, they have a lot of things so pretty much everything you can think of, they likely have a product for your furry friend. The only qualm I have is some of the quality of their Christmas products weren't very good and as soon as I tried it at home for our cat, it broke. Despite this, I still liked the products. Service is also quite nice! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They also seemed very knowledgeable and eager to help you!
