I took my son to Central Vision Clinic for a routine eye visit and to get a Rx for a new pair of glasses, which I was going to have filled online. The Rx they gave me had the doctors name, address, phone number, the patient name, the O.D. & O.S numbers and an expiration date. I did not know it, but they gave me an incomplete prescription/Rx. The guy at the office said he pulled my file and stated that they gave me a complete prescription; basically telling me that the online company is misinforming me about the Rx being incomplete. To make matters worse, they failed to inform me that I would need to sign a medical release so that if they are contacted with questions about the prescription, that they can disclose any further requested information to what in the eyeglasses world is a pharmacy. I already scheduled a day off of work. I do not have access to printing, or faxing during the work week while they are open, and only have that access while at home. They provided for me half of what I paid for, and I asked for half of my co-pay to be refunded because they failed to have me sign everything needed to make that a one trip visit, and they further require me to do what should have been taken care of the office. They refused to refund half of the co-pay, and had they done that, I would have seen that as a gesture that they own there mistakes and care about not repeating them. I will never do business with this office again. read more
