My Experience at the Harker Heights Campus…read more In 2023, I had the unique experience of being both a full-time student and employee at the Harker Heights campus--and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've had. This was not just a job, but a place that truly supported my personal and professional growth. The leadership at this campus is exceptional. They were understanding, flexible with my school schedule, and always pushed me to do my best. Compliance is taken very seriously here, and if you're not organized or can't follow instructions closely, this may not be the right place for you. But for those who are ready to learn, stay focused, and grow--this is where you want to be. This is not a job for someone looking for an easy ride. But if you're determined and willing to be held accountable, you'll leave better than you came. The discipline and training I received here have directly helped me in my current job. I was proud to be a student here as well. Best school ever. Thank you, Harker Heights team, for everything!

To see grown adults that: 1-don't understand pickup lines, 2-don't move forward as the line moves, 3-decide they are too important to wait in line and jump everyone, 4-park their damn cars in the middle of the 2 lane pickup lane blocking all traffic so now no one can progress. There is no doubt the school pickup line is where you see the worst of humanity and demonstrates what so many parents are teaching their kids just based on their actions

My statistics professor was so personal and she cared so much about her job to the point that she would let you txt her to ask for help on homework after hours. Writing lab was a great resource, as well as the math lab. Tons of resources are provided if you need help with assignments.

Unfortunately, I DO NOT recommend Temple College! The two years my son spent here were filled with Great disappointment. My son was Aggressively grabbed and yelled at by Asst Coach Train. This was reported to the Head coach and College Board and they passed it off as Train will not do it again. I hope and pray this does not happen again!

I had a mixed experience at the Central Texas Training Center. The instructors were…read moreexcellent--knowledgeable, supportive, and committed to helping students succeed. I truly appreciated their professionalism and effort during my time in the program. Unfortunately, the administrative side of the school has been very disappointing. I officially dropped from the program in April, but the school didn't report my withdrawal to the VA until June a months later. Because of this delay, I was charged for a month I didn't attend, which created unnecessary complications with my VA education benefits. The admissions representative has been extremely hard to reach. Every time I visit the school to resolve the issue, I'm told she's unavailable and will call me but she never follows up. I also feel the admissions process lacks transparency and seems geared toward misleading students, especially veterans using VA benefits. While I appreciate the great instructors, I strongly urge future students especially veterans to keep thorough records and be cautious when dealing with admissions.

Goooo Wildcats! Temple High School is the alma mater of…read more"Mean" Joe Green! This central Texas high school is probably the biggest in Temple. They've got a bunch of sports teams, and do well for the local community. The pool is available to the public during the summer, when the student swimmers aren't using it. They have a schedule posted up out front of the pool. The pool isn't exactly luxury. It's for lane swimmers only, and is one of the old style pools with lots of chlorine. The locker rooms are about average for a high school. Everything not bolted down or locked up will disappear. During the summer, there's plenty of parking since the only cars there are summer school students. I never attended school here, but I am a supporter!

He started with an overview of this pressing issue, with statistics, and a review of these events since the Luby's massacre in 1991. He discussed ways to survive such an event, focusing on our specific facility, and what actions might best work in our setting. Several attendees were so encouraged by his remarks, they are anticipating attending one of his upcoming LTC classes to better prepare themselves. I would wholeheartedly recommend Paul for any firearms related instructional needs.
