This company is absolutely outstanding--a local company that truly cares about its customers. First things first, the price is great, and we feel as though we're valued customers, instead of a numbered account like the bigger alarm services. The Android remote access is awesome too, and I like getting emailed alerts when someone enters and leaves the house during the day. Second, Armando is awesome! We had an existing alarm system in our house and got quotes from a couple of other companies. They didn't catch the fact that some of our zones weren't even hooked up! Armando spent hours looking through our house to see how it was set up. He explained why our system wouldn't work as we wanted it to. He patiently explained the advantages of installing a new system instead of using the old one. Then, he took great care in getting our system right. He came out multiple times to make sure that it was working correctly, and switched out hardware several times to get it right. That would not have happened with other companies. Our family knows and trusts Armando, and we like knowing that a real, live person is only a phone call away. I called Central for help after having reached out to at least twenty other companies. Armando took my call, and spent a good 20 minutes talking through my set-up with me. He was able to come out shortly thereafter to look at what I had, he gave me an honest opinion, and offered to help me for little to no labor charges, and giving me close to his cost on equipment. There was no hardcore sales pitch, just a normal guy that knew his stuff about security trying to help me out. After a few days of mulling it over, I gave him the go-ahead, and he purchased the equipment and came by to install everything tonight. I was originally trying to DIY this, but realized that I was being cheap and stupid about it. Armando got everything working, and added some really cool functionality on top of the basics that I needed. To top it off, I wound up getting a really good deal. I did a lot of research on alarms. Skip ADT and Brinks (unless you enjoy overpaying for things). You can try to go online and save money, which is what I did, but in the end, having a local installer to call is worth its weight in gold. I switched from ADT to Central Security. Better monthly price, better security system, no contract and better staff. Scott showed up twice. Once so I could compare him to the other security companies I vetted. The next time was for the installation. He upgraded my system and showed me why my current motion detection placement wasn't as good as it could be. He moved what I had providing me with better security coverage rather than talking me into buying more equipment. He usually answers when I call. He always calls back if I have to leave a message. He is calm and collected. He's a real pro to deal with. I've been with them for about 8 months now. I'm about to add some video cameras and just remembered I told him I'd post here if I was happy with his service. I give him a A+ across the board! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Central Security, from the technician Armondo to the monitoring center. Armondo is thorough in his explanation for the alarm system options and does not high pressure sales you. Took his time to install and make sure it was all working properly before leaving. My main concern was the response time for an alarm after ADT took over 21 minutes to notify us of a break in at our business on Christmas Eve. After have Central Security installed, my husband hit the panic button by mistake and received a call immediately and was notified the authorities were in route. They are able to cancel the call before they arrived but we were glad to see they had a great response time. read more

I can't say enough good things about this company, especially Armando. The customer service my wife and I received is second to none. You won't find better prices, believe me we looked. Also, with the flexibility to go month-to-month makes working with them even sweeter. We had our door replaced and forgot to get the magnetic sensor off the old door, and the alarm wouldn't arm without it. We called Armando at 6:30 pm and he was going to his last job of the day.
