Not looking good for this business...more lost snowblowers. Help!!!! Police getting involved.

This is on the new owners. My 2021 $800 Toro snowblower also went "missing" (along with several others I was told). I had to contact them constantly on when it would be done. They picked it up the end of September. When I finally got a hold of someone ( their voicemail mailbox was full so could never leave a message), she told me she would check on it. Called me 2 days later with "bad news" that they could not find my snowblower. Also the business is closing the end of the month. She gave me Kates phone and e-mail. Of course Kates voicemail box is full and I have not heard from her. Trying to find out if they filed theft charges and contacted their insurance company regarding my "missing" snowblower. read more

Bought 3 mowers and 2 snowblowers from these guys over the years. Pretty knowledgeable about their product lines. Not shy about the service charges, including a charge to pick up/deliver equipment. Probably the best place in town for this stuff unless you want to go to a big box store and then wind up assembling the product itself. Not the warmest or friendliest group I've ever done business with. read more

It will take over 2 months just to get an oil change and a blade sharpening. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The work that is done is great. The only reason I give Central saw and mower a 3 star is because of all of the false lead time they will give you for when your equipment will be worked on. I have brought my mower in for an oil change, blade sharpening, and to have a primer cap replaced. That is not a hard or very time consuming thing to do. 4 hours max. It has been over a month now and they still haven't been able to get it done. I have patiently waited and called to ask the status, but have been given false lead times. Like they will say "I'll have it done in a couple weeks and then after that they'll say it will be done by the end of the week. Never happens. If you want work done on your mower expect to not see it done for at least 2-4 months... Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I was and am not happy. I completely understand that they get busy around spring time. But don't tell me it will be done in two weeks and then 2 months later tell me that it still isn't done and then give me another false lead time. Sorry my rant is over now. Thank you. This is the place to buy equipment. The staff are helpful and know their stuff. Price was the same as large box stores, but my equipment was delivered ready-to-run for no extra charge. It can be a busy place, but that is a good sign. I was a first time customer and gave them the benefit of the doubt when an issue arose, they went above and beyond my expectations. They have earned my trust. Will do business with them again and recommend them to anyone needing power equipment. read more

I see a lot of people complaining about slow speed of repairs. In my own case, I had no such problem because I brought my equipment in off-season, way ahead of time, so it would be ready when the need came. The people were friendly. The repairs were expertly performed and the service technicians actually went beyond what I asked them to do, at no extra charge. I found the price to be very fair. Later, I mentioned my good experience to my cousin. He told me he's had many items repaired there over the years and his experience has always been good. read more

Went early season snowblower shopping. It was refreshing to talk to someone who knows power equipment and could give an honest opinion versus a stock clerk at a big box store. It is always good to know any service can be done by Central Saw versus trying to go to some place besides where you bought it. I asked numerous questions and answers were immediate. Price was the same as a big box store with the unit to be assembled and delivered. Appears to be a busy place on the weekend. read more

My father has been a frequent buyer here as long as I can remember. When it was my time to move on and buy a house, I went to these guys. I needed everything, a lawnmower, snow blower, weed eater and a hedge trimmer. I bought it all there two years ago and I continue to go there for all my lawn equipment needs.
