Bouldering section has lots of routes well set for all abilities

Super well put together and clean rock gym, stoked on how knowledgeable and passionate about rock climbing the staff is, and how helpful they were in getting us started with our new membership here. Membership is also good at their other locations! Love this place! Great fun workout, full gym, and fitness classes!

Had a great experience today! I brought my 9 year old son for assisted staff belay. We signed up for an hour session for $30 each. We had a blast and our belayer was very patient and helpful in teaching my son how to approach each area. There are varying levels of difficulty in the main room and a kids room with varying levels of difficulty. Will definitely be back!

Bouldering area.

Excellent gym. The crash pads for bouldering are still the old type they used in the chain but they are well kept. Route setting is excellent. They have some very fun projects.

The Staff was so kind and helpful. Would recommend to everyone. It was my first climb (65) and my 12-year-old grandson's second.

Whatagym, I feel very welcome and safe here. It's a very fancy gym, but the culture and atmosphere is chill.

Went rock climbing for the first time ever and I had a blast!…read more Overall the gym was clean and everything seemed pretty well maintained. They had vending machines upstairs for drinks and snacks. The other people climbing were all very considerate of each others space, even when climbing close together. There were a lot of areas for first timers like myself. I expected everything to be too difficult when I walked in, but there was something for every level which was nice. The best part of the experience was one of the employees. We were given an "orientation" by Josh, who was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable about all things climbing and showed us how to properly use the equipment. My friend that brought me had been to the gym previously and said that the person who gave her an orientation could have cared less and had more of a " just don't hang yourself" attitude. Josh was really patient and answered all of my questions - even ones about memberships and purchasing gear. He shared his personal experiences and advice instead of just making a sales pitch which was appreciated. He showed me which gear I could purchase that would be best for me and what I wanted to do - I guess different shoes are used for different types of climbing, something I learned from him. I didn't have any extra money on me at the time, but I will be back in the next week or two to get a membership and buy the gear he suggested. I highly recommend coming here, whether it's a fun night out with friends or you are looking to get an awesome workout (I'm still feeling it!). I also recommend finding out when Josh is working, especially if you are a first timer. He has so much passion that he wants to pass on that it makes the experience that much better!

My group isn't made up of serious climbers, but we had a lot of fun and felt like there were definitely enough climbs to try and of all levels. The staff when we went were chill and friendly. The facility was clean, and the chalk was well-stocked. Overall was a better climbing experience, and it would be my preferred gym if I lived closer!

Visited this gym while traveling through Boston. My partner and I anticipated getting to utiltize…read morethe gym as a spot to climb, shower and waste some time while we explored Boston waiting on our next flight. The gym itself was much smaller than anticipated. Staff was helpful but part of the wall was closed making access even more limited. The climbing wall was rather small even if that section was open. The gym area had enough equipment to lift and improvise other work outs. They only had one of two showers operable, as one shower was filled with storage. When I went to use the operable shower I was told not to take a hot shower or not to be longer than 10 minutes because it would set off the fire alarm and sprinklers in the whole building. I found it strange but there was a fire alarm/detector in the bathroom so I set a timer. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. More than one days worth of hair in the shower. Grime on the walls and floors. The bathroom area outside of the shower was also dirty. Before I showered staff went into the bathroom to fill his mop bucket and mopped the entire floor in the main climbing area but didn't touch the bathroom itself. I would not recommend this gym if you are passing through and looking for a space to climb and hang out like we were.
