Splash pad

This splash pad is so perfect for summer days in Maple Grove! It's nice that they have so many chairs and seating for parents around the fountains. It also has a full playground area with many big slides. My daughter has so much fun running around and playing here every time we come.

This park area is awesome!! There are lots of trails for walking, tons of multi purpose green space, pickleball courts, basketball courts, beautiful lakes, flowers, HUGE playground, splash pad and best of all easy parking! We stopped by right around sunset and the park was abuzz with people and families of all ages enjoying the perfect Minnesota summer night. I was very impressed with how clean and nice this whole park was.

Lots of areas to enjoy!

I can not say enough nice things about this park!! My kids nicknamed this " Eiffel Tower Park" because of the large climbing tower when you first walk up to the park! There are lots of items for kids to play on and even though my boys have been there dozens of times, they never get bored! There is an indoor space to cool off or warm up with indoor bathrooms that are well kept! There is a super cool splash bad that lights up and is fun or kids and adults!! They also have a skating area for ice skating or roller blading depending on the time of year! There is a fire pit that is turned on in the winter! And if that hasn't sold you, there is a small lake that has a walking path that I've walked many times to help with weight loss, enjoy a summer night, or finish tiring my kids out One of the best parks in the Twin Cities area in my opinion!!

As a seasoned park reviewer, I am thoroughly impressed by the playground at Maple Grove. The high-quality play equipment, manufactured by Landscape Structures, is well-maintained and shows excellent durability, even with heavy use. The rubber surfacing, though worn in high-traffic areas, is promptly replaced to ensure safety. This spacious, urban park is perfect for families with children of all ages and offers a variety of features such as climbing structures, slides, and interactive fountains that are especially popular during warmer months. The park also includes picnic tables and grassy areas for relaxation. In winter, an LED-lit ice skating loop is available for free, with rental skates provided for a small fee. I just wish that I could rate this playground and park higher than five stars. It's rated one of the largest and best playgrounds in Minnesota. My personal favorite playground amenity is the double roller slide. I have incorporated single roller slides in many of the playgrounds I have installed.

One of the best layouts I have seen in a park

Had a Friday date with my 3 year old daughter and we came to the Central Park Playground for the first time. First things first: it has the best play structure I have seen s a Park. Any kid would be pumped to spend a few hours on the slides, climbing tower or sandbox. Second, they have a splash pad in the summer: Little's love splash pads and it gives parents down time while the Little's go crazy. Third, they have a community cater with seating and the cleanest park bathrooms you have ever seen. They are restaurant quality and have changing rooms and a family bathroom. Lastly, they have play structures, fields, basketball courts and a path around the lake. We had a blast on our play date and will be back for sure!

Our quest to find new and exciting playgrounds just gets more and more exciting with the discoveries of these brand new, innovative, inventive and really fun playgrounds. This one is a lot of fun with a lot of fun equipment. J kiddingly asked if Frank Gehry designed this place? He was impressed as well. Roller slides Super fast metal slides Twisty slides Slides with some rock wall and ropes to climb Swings Tire Swings Hammock Swings etc. Really great playground. Splash Pad is nice with big spouts of water shooting up and out on a timer. Lots of places to sit, tables ,chair, concrete steps, grass. Bathrooms and changing rooms inside the little chalet looking area with a few small snack bar areas. Another great playground and park in Maple Grove

This park is fun for everyone! I bring my son here at least once a week and end up sliding down most of the slides with him! Central Park has several different playgrounds for kids of all ages from 6 months to 100 year olds! Everything is built by landscape structures, so all the equipment is quality. This park is always clean, even though it's constantly busy. They have plenty of seating for parents, water fountains, picnic tables, walking paths, and handicap accessible! You can't ask for better! When it's really hot the splash pad is amazing! All the kids love it, and it's even a safe for the younger kids! My son spends an average of an hour in there every time! The park also has very spacious bathrooms and changing rooms, a snack bar, skating rink, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a couple fire pits! This ranks #1 in all the parks in MN for my family!

Busy and packed splash pad, people hog chairs they aren't using.

I have never been to a crazier and busier park in my life.. it's insanely busy, kids are mean to other kids and parents really don't care. There was not a lot of space to hide from the sun either. There appears to be a lot of seating, but people will hog chairs and not even use them, so there is just not enough for everyone. Other than that, the park is very cute, the fountains are fun for the kids to play in and the indoor bathrooms, ac and snack store is awesome. I would love to visit this place sometime when it isn't crazy packed and maybe I would enjoy it more, but for now, I will definitely steer clear of this place while I can.

Seriously amazing playground! This summer we have been on a quest to visit nearly every playground in the western half of the metro, and this park is easily at the top of the list! They have so many different structures that are unique, huge, and fun. My two year old loved the giant rubber hill, filled with climbing obstacles, slides, and other fun structures. He also really liked the sand pit area with climbing walls, rocks, and climbing nets. The entire park is brand new as of October 2015, and includes an ice track for the winter that can be used for rollerblading in the summer, a big open grass field, a main building with seasonal concessions and bathrooms, and a gathering space that can be rented. My wife described the playground area as "Dr. Seuss' playground". It is full of bright colors, huge climbing structures, and tons of different things to do. We played here for over an hour and the only reason we left is because mom and dad had to get going, not because our 2 year old even considered it! Overall, its well worth even a roadtrip to come check out this amazing free park!

I was blown away by the size of this park AND the accessibility for ALL ages! I often worry about my not even 2 year old son at parks because he will get run over or not be able to safely access all of the equipment and we have to constantly chase him around. Not here! Everything was so I can't and toddler friendly! And somehow still also very fun for bigger kids. It was so inspiring and interesting to watch all of the kids on the equipment, and you can tell that a lot of thought was put into this project by people who have kids. And we couldn't believe it was free! I expect to pay money when playing on this style of equipment, so bravo to the Maple Grove community for putting so much time and money into a public park. We will be coming back here often, and we are also excited to try the skating rink his winter. Highly recommend to all parents and their little ones!

I m so glad I stay so close to this place. Amazing skating ring and great playing structures for kids. Adults can have a fun walk around the man-made lake or just enjoy watching their kids have fun in the water fountains, which also have colors. Such a fun place for everyone. The dog park right next to it, makes it easier for pets to enjoy. Also there is a community hall, which you can book whenever you want for a cheap fare. Love the community so far, everyone's out there in summer with their kids, and lately have seen people enjoy the skating ring too. Amazingly well planned, this place sits right next to the Central Park lake and surrounded by apartments and town houses; but I m sure it serves people from various communities in maple grove and Brooklyn Park. Love the walks around the lake here, and it only makes it better, as its kids and pet friendly out here. We have had so many awesome sunsets which we have enjoyed here, and since we do have an awesome view from our patio, summer is just the time to enjoy the view. Looking forward for many more awesome sunsets and walks.

We took our shoes and jackets off at the front, and then went to go check-in. I was asked if I had ever been there before, which I said no and then I scanned a QR code to sign the waiver for my kiddos. I would say overall, this was a pretty fun experience. You are given two hours to play for admission. I think the admission is pretty expensive, especially for babies. My 7-year old had a fun time, though. She enjoyed playing in the different areas. She ended up getting a mini scoop of ice cream, which was about $6. I would have gotten coffee, but I think the food prices were pretty expensive. Overall, I think one and done for us. We enjoyed the experience, but I took two stars off for how bare it was and for the expensive prices.

Just some soft mats on the floor with a few baby toys scattered around. The cashier was very friendly and answered my questions. This place could have had a lot of potential. Hopefully they can stay in business with a new concept that would better serve customers needs. They are having a discounted sale on the toys and onesies they have for sale. I did not try the cafe drinks this time but perhaps before they close this month I can.
