The ref room was small. Not much space for multiple refs crews coming and going. The ice was good. The bathrooms were exceptional. Friendly staff and helpful employees. Cleaning crews working hard on a Saturday night. I recommend and I will return.

Pool closed for maintenance during our visit

Zero depth entry pool with nice warm water for toddlers to play. Locker rooms have large family stalls with individual showers and benches to change in privacy with small children. The lockers allow you to bring your own lock or use quarters. I used to consider this pool 5/5 stars but the price is quite steep (admission is $8 per person starting at age ONE.) There is lots of down time for the main children's attractions- waterslide, water spray mushroom, etc... and the pool gets crowded quite fast with multiple families. The suit drying machine has also been out of operation the last two visits and general upkeep of the facility seems to be slipping.

This place is pretty awesome. $6 for maze. $8 for pool or $10 for all day pass (I think) NEED SOCKS. Make a strategy now for trying to get your child/ren to leave

Definitely a great place to take the kids when they need to burn some energy! This playland is not as big as Edinborough in Edina, but it's still tons of fun! There is a small toddler area, which isn't really all that impressive. My 18 month old daughter was bored with it within a couple minutes. The "big kid" area is really great with tons of climbing & 7-8 different slides to go down. It's meant for adults to climb as well since some of the smaller or shorter children might have trouble climbing if they can't reach. I did think it was really quite expensive though. $6.50 for non Maple Grove residents seems crazy to me, considering that Edinborough in Edina is $6 and is twice the size and has a gym area to play in. If the price was right, I think I could have given this place 5 stars..

    Fun run with the girls!!

My son loved the play area! It is really high and he got tired out climbing up to the top several times!

If you need a good Christmas Spirit jolt, this is a good one for you…read more There's always lots of cool things to see at Norway House, but this time of the year they go out of their way to bring out the best. See all the entries to their annual gingerbread house contest (open to the public!) and take part in a very important seasonal fund raiser and membership drive for this non-profit. Historical yet whimsical, come see what all the fuss is about in this beautiful place in uptown Minneapolis!

I'm sure that the events they plan are great, but we paid $10 to see the exhibits, and they were…read moreextremely minimal and difficult to use. You had to wave your hand over part of the exhibit to get it to turn on and to navigate it, which did not really work. Our visit was a big disappointment. The website said $5 admission, but we were charged $10 to see a very small exhibit of Norwegian pottery and a few photo exhibits in the basement that didn't work as they should have. I feel like with as many Norwegians living in the Twin Cities, that the exhibits could be way more comprehensive. If you're going for an event, I'm sure you will enjoy it. If you are simply going for the exhibits, save your time and consider visiting the Swedish Institute which is far more comprehensive and well done.
