This place is huge and has two sections for kids (small and big kids) The playground is safe and the floor has rubber matting in case the kids slip. There's also a small rock climbing section and a covered patio for birthday parties. You have to reserve the patio for any events though. The grass is lush and well kept, and there are even trees being planted for future shade! What I love the most is how HUGE the space is for the big dogs. Just make sure to pick out a poopy bag from the front of the gate before you get in because the one inside is pretty far off. The only thing though is that it's just a damn shame there are still some nasty pet owners who don't take responsibility for their own pet and pick up after them. There was a large pile of poo laying out there for my boyfriend to step on... so be careful?

This is located in a newer developed neighborhood called (you guessed it) Highlands Ranch. They have 2 play structures, a baseball field, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball area, and a soccer field. They also have a large, covered picnic area right in the center of it all. You can reserve this space from the city of Pittsburg on non-holiday weekends. The only bad thing about this park is the wind. We all know that when we are playing a sport, the wind can carry the ball in unwanted directions. That's my only reason this park didn't make the 5 stars cut.

Turned out to be a great decision because it's so beautiful. It has a lovely green in the center with plants from around the world around the green. It also appears to connect to a trail. There are lots of volunteers working on the gardens and there seems to be a summer camp here too.

I'm here so many times that I guess it's only right that I review it…read more This little park is a few blocks, okay a lot of blocks, from where I live, but I like going here because of how nice the neighborhood is. I've never ran into shady characters here. Those I have met have been nice and welcoming. There's two playgrounds here. One has a gate/fence surrounding it. I don't necessarily trust that one because people like to let loose their dogs into it and never pick up the poo. There's a nice little loop that people can ride their bikes/scooters/etc around or even run/jug around. I tend to go on that when I go run. There's a basketball half court that always good to use. There's not a lot of seat it here. One table. Two benches. Plenty of parking around this area. If you live in it, obviously you got your garage, but you can park on the street. THERE SHOULD BE A WATER FOUNTAIN. Like what's the deal with that? It gets hot out. Overall, this park has been useful to me and to the neighborhood. It's mostly clean. It's visitors are nice and friendly. 3.5 stars out of 5 stars (rounded up to 4 stars)
