This park is special because it recognizes the US veterans. From most poles you walk into, you'll see banners of some veterans. It's really nice because it shows that did so much to serve us. It's not really a big park compared to the ones I usually go to, but it's still a good place to host outdoor parties. It even has a water park. So it's basically like my home park I usually go to except smaller especially how the parking is set up next to the water park. Honestly, it would have been a bonus if the park is bigger, but this is good enough. I really wanted to walk around the park but it's too hot. I just go in the shade because I can't really take the heat. I highly recommend bringing water if you plan to go around the park.

The dog park itself is more on the medium size, which is fine for my 70lb and 11lb dogs. My dogs enjoyed it. The walking trail has pretty views at the top. The playground is pretty active, always a good amount of families enjoying this place. The only thing I noticed is that there was quite a bit of dog poop in the grass area of the dog park. No fault of the park but I feel like if the community did their part in picking up after their dogs, this wouldn't be a problem. The city provides more than enough poop bags and bins for the community to use. Again, it is a very nice park and worth a visit.
