Definitely, worthwhile as you would never be able to cover as much ground if by foot.. We were able to stop and take pictures at most of the areas. Some places they do not stop due to no pedicab parking laws. It was nice that we were able to still see things at night. We wanted to go earlier in the day but our own schedule interfered. An hour of it we saw in daylight and the second hour went into night time. Because of this company we were able to squeeze in Central Park and relax and learn some history along the way! We covered a lot of ground! Russell, our pedicab driver was super sweet and knowledgeable and ensured we were comfortable. The temperatures dropped and he offered coverings for our legs as we were wearing dresses. Russell even took pictures of us for us. He is a very pleasant individual with a good disposition. My sister and I felt they both were very accommodating! We got to meet John in person, because we didn't have enough cash on us and we needed to use our credit card. Russell was able to call him and John met up so that we could swipe our credit card to pay. If you pay online and you are military, he can give a cash refund of the $20. Upon…read morearrival in front of St. Patrick's Cathedral we were welcomed by an excellent tour guide Julien, our names were mentioned and Julian addressed us with our names throughout the tour which provided a very friendly and very welcoming atmosphere. The bus driver Levi was also very nice and friendly, (I had never met such a very friendly tour guide and bus driver compared to my previous guided tour experiences). After meeting at St. Patrick's we were dropped off at Grand Central Station took pictures and Julien took us to this hidden jewel, the Whispering Wall/gallery at the grand central terminal (in front of the oyster bar and restaurant). This was not part of the itinerary, and I appreciate how we were taken to this place. It was amazing how you can whisper into the wall and be heard by the person in another corner of the wall. We headed to the Empire State Building, where we were supposed to explore by ourselves but to our surprise, our tour guide Julien followed on the observation deck. He took very nice pictures (he is a pro) he knows where to take pictures and the right angles. We also had a delectable lunch and a nice ambiance at Paesano's in Little Italy. We boarded back to the shuttle where driver Levi patiently waited and this man had to drive around the area while waiting for us because they can't be parked in one spot for a while and had to share the parking to other shuttles/buses. We were taken to the Wall Street, Trinity Church and showed us the Alexander Hamilton's tomb. After that, we headed to the Statue of Liberty where Julien stayed with us the entire time and had an amazing time. He knew a lot of people including the securities, the workers etc. He knows what we need to do before heading to the security areas. He provided a great information about New York and we learned so much about the city in just 9 hours. He sounded like he had a sore throat on the day of our tour but that did not stop him from providing such a wonderful introduction and insight even he had to talk on top of his lungs. The last part of our tour was the 9/11 Memorial and Memorial Pools which was very emotional and touching experience. Lastly, my overall experience in this tour was wonderful. Before we departed Julien sang a song to us inside the shuttle the "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra and we felt so special. I totally enjoyed my visit to New York because of tour guide Julian. He is a very hard working tour guide, does an excellent job!. He made sure we are all safe and no one gets lost in the tour. He even gave us souvenirs from the places we visited (postcards, etc.) Levi is a very good, safe, and patient driver. All respect for Julien who does an excellent job and also driver Levi. He was so friendly, accommodating, funny, charismatic, and informative on everything New York. Our tour started off at St. Patrick's Cathedral and then progressed to the Empire State Building. At every point of interest, we were treated with fast access as VIPs. The Empire State Building was amazing and Julian got us in and out in quick fashion. We then went to Little Italy and a nice restaurant and canollies place in that area. The arrangements with the restaurant were great as the prices and food quality were good and the efficiency of getting us in and out in quick fashion was great. We then went to the Statue of Liberty where we bypassed a lot of the serpentine lines that circled that park area. However, the screening area was unavoidable and a bit of a delay as it was 45 minutes. Still Julian worked to make our entry as quick as possible and our time there valuable. Once getting onto Liberty Island, we went through a secondary screening area right at the statue and Julian gave us a lot of really neat information on the history of the Statue of Liberty. We then went to the 911 Memorial and the Oculus which was somber and enriching and Julian gave us keen insight on what the memorial park meant to him and shared a really touching personal story. I would recommend this tour company to family and friends as it is amazing. Try to request Julian as he is the most amazing human being I have met in quite some time. He made the entire experience quite memorable, informative, and fun.

The counter girl then pressured my wife and I into buying the day rate since it was only $5 more. She then told us we needed insurance which was an extra $2 per bike. So after being lured in by what I was told would cost roughly $40, after taxes turned into $81. My fault for not walking away at this point, but we'd already gotten excited by the idea. Outside we were then strongly scolded by the bike handlers for not already knowing there was a separate line for male and female bikes. The biking itself was enjoyable but we ended up only keeping the bikes for 2 hours due to the immense traffic of horse carriages, other bicyclists, bike caddies, park carts, pedestrians, etc. It just became too much and felt too dangerous. Arriving back at the store we were once again yelled at by the bike handlers. I'm not even sure the reason this time. NEVER going back here. I *strongly* recommend saving yourself the money and grief and just rent a citibike.

I'm going to try to entice you and not spoil the experience because it is thoughtfully curated and should be experienced live, in person. We started with one of the inspirations for Ghostbusters! Right off the bat, I was hooked as I love that movie and anything Dan Aykroyd. We learned about a Secret cave in Central Park, the iconic Dakota Building, we passed by Needle Park, where "Waiting for Mr Goodbar" was filmed in 1977 (RIP Diane Keaton!), and saw, among other sites, where James Baldwin lived and discussed art and films, like "The Exorcist" with Toni Morrison. That was a fascinating film review to read and learn about! You finish the tour where Edgar Allan Poe wrote and first published one of the most famous poems ever written, "The Raven", in The New York Evening Mirror on January 29, 1845. I had no idea I lived so near to such fascinating history! I'm grateful to B.O.T.D. for being such cool teachers! I am very much looking forward to taking additional tours with you to continue this unique journey of my complex and beloved City.

We contacted the tour organizer to clarify what was included in the experience. We were told they were not responsible for the original description but we were more than welcome to participate in the tour. When we arrived at the tour the guide had no record of us. After contacting the organizer she was told our reservation was canceled. The organizer refused to rebook us and told us to enjoy our evening without them. This tour is extremely disorganized and overpriced. The customer service was awful. There are plenty of other experiences to partake in while visiting NYC. Do not waste your time
