Emily from Central Oregon First Aid led one of the most valuable training sessions I've ever taken. She came to my workplace and spent over three hours teaching CPR and other life-saving techniques to a class of ignorant white and blue collar workers.
Her teaching style was straightforward and effective. She conveyed important information in a way that was easy to take in and easy to understand. She gave us tips on remembering and resources to help us. You could tell that she really knew what she was talking about. Our class asked just about every question imaginable, and Emily answered each one quickly, honestly, and without hesitation. She did not pull punches when addressing the difficult questions either, which I really respected. Her level of knowledge and composure immediately earned everyone's trust.
She brought CPR dummies and practice AEDs so we could get hands-on experience, which made the training feel real and important. She even went out of her way to teach us how to use some of our safety equipment in the workplace. By the end of the session, I felt both educated and more capable of acting in a real emergency. I truly believe that society would be better if everyone took this course.
I would absolutely trust Emily in a medical situation and now, thanks to her, I feel more confident that I could help too. I think everyone should take this class. read more
