(This review reflects my personal opinions and experiences as a former employee. It is written…read moresolely from my perspective and should be interpreted as such.) I would not recommend working at Central Florida Vein and Vascular (CFVV) under any circumstances. In my personal experience, this company demonstrates a lack of respect for its employees, poor leadership, and an overall toxic culture that leaves staff feeling overworked, underappreciated, and unsupported. Turnover is extremely high -- new hires come and go constantly, forcing existing staff to cover multiple roles without additional pay or recognition. Employees are expected to juggle front desk duties, scheduling, insurance, and assisting -- often with little to no proper training. Communication is poor, processes change frequently, and management expects staff to "figure things out" on their own. Leadership is largely absent. The main physician who owns the company is rarely present at any of the offices and seems disconnected from the daily operations. Patients have complained about rude or dismissive providers, yet these concerns are brushed aside. The office manager, who oversees multiple locations, contributes heavily to the toxic culture. In my opinion, they do very little actual managing. Instead, they gossips about employees to others, spreading rumors instead of addressing issues directly. They refuse to put anything in writing, insisting on phone calls so there's no record of what they say. I personally requested a raise over text -- the only way they communicate -- and during a phone call they verbally agreed. Months later, the raise never came. The assistant office manager is known for favoritism and drama. They clearly favor certain Spanish-speaking employees and often speaks in Spanish about others right in front of them, creating division among the staff. At the Villages location, I personally witnessed behavior that raised serious concerns. The doctor frequently failed to properly explain procedures to patients, often repeated the same plan of care for everyone, and displayed poor bedside manner. Several employees, including myself, brought up potential HIPAA and safety concerns to HR, but they were ignored. The nurse practitioner was equally unprofessional in my experience -- impatient, dismissive, and more interested in personal phone calls than patient care. Numerous patients complained about their rough manner and lack of compassion, but again, no changes were made. I was ultimately fired for "seeming unhappy" -- not for performance, attendance, or misconduct. I later found out that other employees were told I was being fired before it happened, and that management had already started interviewing people to replace me while I was still working there. That level of unprofessionalism and lack of respect speaks volumes about the culture. From a patient's perspective, the environment doesn't feel much better. The office atmosphere is cold and impersonal. Procedures are not clearly explained, and patients often discover they need multiple additional treatments even after being told their care was complete. On-time patients frequently have to wait because late arrivals are still seen. The office is often empty, which can make the place feel uncomfortable and unsettling. Overall, in my experience, Central Florida Vein and Vascular suffers from poor management, lack of accountability, and a toxic culture that affects both staff and patients. Leadership avoids responsibility, HR ignores complaints, and turnover remains constant. If you value professionalism, honesty, and respect -- I'd personally suggest looking elsewhere, whether you're seeking a job or considering them for your care. (Every detail in this review is my personal opinion/experience and is alleged.)

Staff has also been very unprofessional and rude in person and on the phone. Yesterday I had my annual check-up with Dr. Mark Brooks scheduled. I called several weeks prior to confirm I would in fact be seeing Dr. Brooks and was assured I was seeing him. Last week when I showed up to Quest to do my labs prior to my visit, my order was never sent in and I had to sit on hold for 30 minutes with Dr. Brooks office in order get them to send it over. It was at the end of that call I was casually told that my appointment was with an NP named Kylie and my appointment time had been moved by nearly an hour. Due to the last minute change I kept the appointment as I had prescriptions that needed refilling and I was told that it would be months to try and get another appointment with Dr. Brooks. I was brought back on-time for my appointment at 2:00 PM with Kylie but then left sitting in a cold exam room for more than 40 minutes. The office was dead silent to the point that after 30 minutes sitting in the exam room I had to step outside and make sure someone was there and that they hadn't forgotten about me. This type of treatment is unacceptable. The medical staff had zero respect for me or my time. If Dr. Brooks isn't going to see his patients it should be clearly communicated by his office in advance. Based on a conversation with one of the staff this is a pattern and patients keep getting placed with Kylie. She was the one person that understood my frustration, so that's something. I am very disappointed with how Dr. Brooks and his office handled the situation. Obviously, I will be finding a new PCP so I won't have to experience this again next year!

I had a 2:15 appt to go over test results from the previous week. When I arrived I was told I needed to pay my copay. I replied it's already met. After looking at the insurance screen she advised it wasn't. To be fair my insurance company had a system problem and the oop was showing .05%met but also showing my $6,600 deductible met. Considering that alone would make at least 85% of my oop met and when I saw Dr Dewan the week before I did not pay a copay because they looked it up and it was met. The office manager, Jovanni did not seem able to understand this is an obvious problem with the insurance company or care that their records showed I paid no copay the week before. My daughter and I asked several times to speak to the doctor. He refused to speak with us even though I had a booked appointment!!! I asked for a print out of my records and Jovanni refused to take any action to print them until I followed her order to sit down! Well, I have a severe, chronic back issue and did not want to sit but eventually did what I had to in order to receive my records. Upon receiving the records I was told by Jovanni that Dr Dewan was discharging me as a patient. I asked for a letter from him indicating his reason and was told it will be mailed to me! So if I have a seizure and die tonight would he care! I think not! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! He and his staff are horrendous.

I decided to go early (an hour). I was able to check in, was placed in a room about 30 mins later. Someone came in to check the pulse and all that. Took 2 swabs and said it would take 20 mins for results. 1hr passed and no one has showed up... the doctor came 1.5 hrs later. It took me 3 hours getting in and out of this place. I would've thought they would try to accommodate the appointment time I made just a little... but I scheduled for 11am, checked-in at 10am, left at 1pm... Environment Very big space they had a lot of rooms available. In a perfect world it would have a just right amount of patience vs staff... and everything would flow well. Niceness of the staff They were quiet rude.. after waiting 1+ hours for the doctor to appear.. I went to check on where I stand but the doctor was like we are busy and you are next I'm coming. Then other staff try their best to avoid eye contact. Dollar Depends on your insurance Yes? I would definitely not return here. I have been at urgent care that take long but never this long!
